Mental illness (54,295) by Dove from USA She does look great in Paris, thanks for posting that video, it made me smile. Her smile is so genuine and contagious. If Shawn is saying she's okay, I'm going to choose to believe him. She appears to be doing better than fine. But, just to speak on behalf of alcoholics or people with mental-illness: bipolar is not crazy. I don't think people should be made to feel like it's a shameful thing because it's not something you choose and neither is alcoholism. There is treatment and things can get better. I'm not ashamed to admit that I became depressed in 2014 and started taking antidepressants. They helped, I'm still taking them, and my quality of life is worlds better. I had a professor who was schizophrenic and medication improved her quality of life, too. Most people have some issue they deal with, nobody's life is perfect. (Saturday 6 June 2015; 23:14)

Like some of you have said, these things would have been almost impossible to hide from the world. There's no way that someone who's on the verge of "dying like Whitney Houston" could have gone this long without being put on blast by the media, especially since the media doesn't seem to be particularly fond of MC to begin with. Mariah is a strong woman (54,285) by Ardis Logic from Earth And she can still find peace and love deep within herself, among all the drama and heartbreak. Many people have issues with their so called "family" members. The family unit has been totally destroyed for most people. If you have "real family" in your life, who show you "true" and "real love" you are very lucky. I am glad that she does have those beautiful babies of hers. Their love is so pure and real and that should bring her a lot of joy. She is a very strong and amazing person. As long as she keeps herself as positive as possible, and tries to move forward instead of looking back, she will be just fine. Her fans who truly love her will always be here no matter what, even if she decides that she needs a break. I would totally respect her for stepping out of the lime light for a while, and focusing on herself and her children. That is probably the best thing for her at this moment. Can someone with lots of insight give me a history of Morgan and Alison, as people? (What are they like as individuals, and why is there so much angst between these siblings?) I find it so interesting that they've given such inflammatory interviews about Mariah, but they never seem to gain traction in the media, despite the media going in hard on MC sometimes, like 2014, 2011, 2009, 2001/2, 1998. As a woman myself living a disorder and not at all ashamed. In my eyes, she should have owned this a long time ago instead of that story about exhaustion in 2001. In my eyes it would have made her more likable and more importantly relatable. I've been very vocal all along that I believe Mariah does suffer from something. Now, the drinking, I'm not going to discuss that. From looking in from the outside, I've always said Mariah loves her splashes. But do I think Morgan made it bigger and more deadlier than it is? Hell yeah. Something happened and let she clear, If Mariah does need help shame on him and his wife then to do this pubicly like this. You don't do this. This is the kind of thing that pushes people more and more to their vices and more depressed and more in their "bubble". The media and the public at large doesn't give a damn about these celebrities all they care about is moving magazines and for him to do this is low and sick. There's just no coming back from this. I have my favorite Mariah songs on my phone and I listen to it when I take my child to the playground. I also have her music downloaded into some of my games that I play, and play along to her music instead of the games music. It's really cool. Bipolar Mariah? (54,276) by darrian liu from taiwan I'm far from being a doctor but I don't think she has signs of being bipolar. But then again, we don't really know what problems does she exactly have behind the camera. She may or may not have experienced psychotic episodes when she's all alone. However, as far as I know, bipolar people can look and act normal as long as they take their antipsychotic medications regularly. I don't really buy into the "bipolar Mariah" though. I was just writing what I was feeling. So that's why the post is a little all over the place. But really my heart goes out to Mariah. The woman is still out there, putting a smile on her face, singing to one audience after another, putting up a show of strength, when only the Lord knows how painful it must be to have your own brother defame you. To top that off, reading this board and some others where people are believing this bull crap and saying "oh yes I could tell, this explains why she can't sing, she should sober up for the kids" made me really mad. I never met Mariah but I love her and this woman basically saved thousand if not millions of lives by singing "Hero" and "Outside" to their souls. Healing them, making them let go of suicidal thoughts, telling them it will be fine. Now when some douche who could only get NE to voice his "concern" is vomiting crap, everyone is suddenly thinking it's all true. I pray and send my love to Mariah, (no, not so that she "gets better") but to give her the strength to overcome from the shock of again having one of her loved ones turn on her. I guess now I know why she has trust issues and stays so private. Everyone has a price, Morgan seems to have gotten his desired amount to push his sister off the cliff. (Saturday 6 June 2015; 14:27)

It's really hard (for me anyway) to actually find the video source and it's not showing up much on twitter. A year ago something like this would have been circulating for days.
