It's one of my all time favorite MC pictures and I hope she keeps it as the #1s CD cover. When I look at that picture next to all the other album covers on her FB, that's one of the best ones IMO. For the next album with all new music, yes, she should definitely take all new promo pictures, but #1's is a retrospective album, so I think it's appropriate to use an older picture in this case. It is so hypocritical to entertain the idea that Mariah could date, but Nick has to be celibate till the divorce is done. Are we in the Middle Ages? I mean she had so many great photoshoots after that. But like last year remember when she was suddenly on the cover of 2-3 magazines? And apart from Wonderland most of them were old photos? To the muppet that angrily said '"for a fact" and all the other "haters" (oh that feels good, papa, have I been bad, papa?), you need to get a grip of your sanity. I see Cindi Berger is the new target. You have absolutely no definite info on why she departed and if the departure was to Mariah's liking or not but, oh, looky closer, Cindi's a demon-in-disguise. It is my opinion that it is good for Mariah to move on to a whole new team (and a team of people that will quit if she gives them her shit). Cindi? I wish her well. Some people on this board come across as obsessives worse than Directioners and are an insult to reasonably minded people. And Uptown Funk beating One Sweet Day? It's good, but not that good. In the UK it bounces around positions. Not number one. There are no songs released in America more noteworthy at te moment? Strange. Anyway. Stay sane. No "tell all" (51,533) by Ardis Logic from Earth That's great, but no apologies needed. I stick by my original statement. I don't trust the man, and I still think he is not as squeaky clean or nice as he tries to portray. If he was, obviously he would still be with MC. Being married takes work, compromise, and change. I say this from experience. My husband and I will have been married 15 years this year. It is challenging to stay together all those years, but when you "really and truly" love someone, you are willing to make it work no matter what. Plus he is still technically married and he has been seen doing inappropriate things with other women. That is just disrespectful and not the classy or considerate thing to do. So yeah, great there is no "tell all", but that doesn't erase the other issues. I just don't like the guy and I doubt I ever will. (Thursday 9 April 2015; 23:44)

No tell-all (51,531) by LC from USA So, there's that. Nick just went on E. News during a red carpet interview for America's Got Talent and completely denied the tell all book allegations. When asked to dispel the rumors about it, he says, on video, that he is disappointed in the media and their perpetuation of negativity and that he is very happy with his family situation and he "doesn't know anything about any tell-all books or anything like that". So, to all those who were labeling him "Thirsty" and quick to destroy him, I think apologies are due. I'm glad they're amicable. (Thursday 9 April 2015; 22:33)

For the nostalgia (51,530) by Tiina from Finland I've been loving all of these nostalgic posts. I wish I could have been there with you but I was only born in 1990 and unfortunately Mariah has never been that big in Finland. I remember a lot of Michael and Janet, Madonna and Metallica but no Mariah. I only recall hearing WYB in radio once as a kid and was very taken by it but had no idea who the two beautiful voices were. Years later I saw the video for WBT on TV and liked it but couldn't have guessed I'd turn into a hardcore fan one day. By this time I was aware that Mariah was part of the so called vocal trinity. When YouTube came around I began binge watching her live performances daily. Singing has been my passion since I was a preteen and I'm quite the vocal technique nerd, so I grew very interested in Mariah's voice. I'd analyze it with my vocal teacher at the time and bought a beautiful Mariah song book and sang Hero during class. To be honest, at first I was a little embarrassed to like her music. I had previously only listened to classic rock and my favourite band was Queen (actually now it makes sense to me because Mariah is just as camp as, say, Freddie Mercury). The image I had of her was that of a ditzy diva however she was undeniable. Then I learned that she also wrote her songs, which was really impressive. Finally when TMB came out and I saw the video I realized that she was in on the joke and that she was in fact quite the jokester, willing to laugh at her diva image. Been a lamb ever since. The article and magazine chronicled her life and added quotes she's said recently and over the years. There is no new information in this magazine. They simply starred her due to her residency starting next month. The information is old and so is the picture. There wasn't an interview so there's not going to be a photoshoot. Photoshoots (51,526) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Ya well it's not only the cover but even the picture inside of the white dress that is from a shoot from Emancipation era. This bugs me. I don't get why Mariah is digging up old pictures for recent interviews. She did the same in last year's magazine spreads. All of the pictures were from older shoots. She looks fabulous, why not just go for new shoots? When I buy a magazine, I like a new shoot accompanied with it. The pictures are almost as important as the interview for me. As much as I love the black and white shot from the E=MC2 era that she is using for her #1's promo, I seriously hope the actual album cover will be different and from a recent shoot. Uptown Funk (51,525) by R&B Junkie from Poland Records are to be broken. If the OSD record ever should be broken, there is no better song than UF. It's vibe and classic sound reminds me of thousands of good quality songs you can find everywhere but not in the mainstream. So I went to another one of my favorite places mariahcareynetwork.com and dug around the gallery a bit. The cover shot is from the The Emancipation of Mimi era 2005's Parade Magazine photo shoot. The new single comes out right before my birthday, and the Vegas show is soon after, so this is going to be a memorable birthday for me. Infinity (51,522) by Mara from United States If indeed Infinity is the name of the new single, I love how Mariah gives us little hints. Could just be a coincidence, but in those photos of MC, the twins and Nick on Easter, Roc is wearing some part of Buzz Lightyear's gear. Buzz Lightyear is a character from Disney's Toy Story who always says "to infinity and beyond". Again, it could mean just that Roc loves him, which I'm sure he does. But it's just a cute observation. Infinity does have a nice ring to it and certainly lives up to what Mariah stands for in the music industry. Her music is timeless and will live on. (Thursday 9 April 2015; 17:39)

Not an album's worth, but maybe 5 or so plus the demo tape from the debut would be enough for me. I also really hope the album includes AIWFCIY so it is the ultimate hits compilation. New single (51,520) by Abraham from USA I'm so excited for new music. "Infinity" sounds interesting and promising. I hope it's a song everyone will like. Ironically April 27th is my birthday. And regardless if I like the new song or not I'm still going to support Mariah and purchase the new number ones album. I hope the video will be good and up to part with the song. #1's album (51,519) by SM from Citizen of the World I just hope this album will be targeted to sell more in a Target, Walmart, Starbucks so in some retail place because if the new album has 18 #1's and just 1 new song it will be very tough selling the entire album online because "most" people who love M have these songs already so they will not purchase the whole album and only the one new song online. So basically I think it should have special pricing for the album in order to help the sales online and in the store but I hope the lead single is a pow wow in your face jam lol. Cindi, Infinity (51,517) by QueenLambassador from Portugal I don't think it's a drama just because Cindy is gone. Never liked her and she didn't dump Mariah Carey. The contract just ended and it wasn't renewed, it's business. Infinity the new single? Maybe but if it's coming out in April we won't need to wait much longer. Infinity (51,515) by B from USA Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't We Belong Together described as a hybrid of One Sweet Day and Breakdown and the new single is being described as a hybrid of Migrate and Faded. If this is true I think it's an uptempo love song with a huge chorus and an earworm hook. Looks like Mariah is ready to silence her critics and get her throne back.
