Consistency (45,187) by Danny Braden from Uk What I love about Me. I am Mariah is the consistency of the quality. I always felt something lacking from TEOM that wasn't quite Mariah but a commercial move that was successful. It always seems when she compromises her artistry and makes something "less" her it's commercially successful. I think her weakest album (artistically, not vocally obviously) was Music Box. This is one of her best albums and Faded is a standout. (Wednesday 2 July 2014; 1:28)

Done (45,184) by G.G. from USA So today is the day that the new single was sent to radio. I haven't heard about one radio or tv interview, appearances or performances to promote the single. I understand that if the label doesn't believe in the album and doesn't want to spend money promoting it that it will make it harder for an artists to be "seen", but there is no excuse for Mariah to at least do some interviews. TS (45,183) by Bill from the UK Thanks, and thinking about it more, it would be great if it was more of a retrospective over her time on the label. If they involved Mariah in the project, she'd certainly ensure we as her fans weren't duped by just having a single disc of the singles. Yours with Justin would be incentive enough to buy the thing, as well as the unused Your Girl with rap which was replaced with the regular album version. Those tracks, coupled with the Angels Advocate cuts and Hope Street/Save the Day would be fantastic. So much potential. (Tuesday 1 July 2014; 18:40)

You And I (45,180) by Darryle from USA I just listened to Mariah's performance of You And I. I don't know what took me so long. This is easily one of her best live performances in my opinion. Sure it's not the best vocally but you can feel the emotion coming from her and arrangements different while staying true to the original. I love the way she uses a choir and her lower register it's so husky. This and MILG proves why Stevie and Mariah need to work together with Stevie writing and singing. Their lyrical genius and vocals with Stevie playing the piano or something would make for an amazing song. (Tuesday 1 July 2014; 17:26)

Greatest Hits II You (45,178) by Bill from the UK Now that Mariah's contract is finished and there's been no word of her renewing, I wonder if after the album is finished (singles etc. ) a second GH album will be released with her Island hits. I think Sony kind of missed an opportunity with their version and the remix album by not including any new material, so it'd be great if they added some unused tracks. One idea would be to have Hope Street or Save The Day included, and have them released as singles to promote it (like what Mariah did with the new songs on #1's). I'd also like a second disc with remixes as she did some great ones during this time. WBT, DFAU, any unused Angels Advocate stuff. It could potentially be a really good album and something worth buying. (Tuesday 1 July 2014; 10:01)

K Perry (45,176) by Danny Braden from Uk Who cares about what Katy Perry thinks or does? You would think with 50+ milly followers she would be the best selling female artist. Wrong. She's still only known for kissing a girl and one day her controversy will run out and Mariah's legacy will still be there. Enough said. (Tuesday 1 July 2014; 3:24)

R Kelly (45,175) by Darryle from USA I hope that BGK wasn't the only song Mariah did with R. Kelly. BGK was lazily done and feels like its been done before. A lot of his collabs are based around sex or scandal like cheating. I understand that he's known for sex songs and stuff like that but I was hoping for something uplifting or something like "It's your world" by Jennifer Hudson. R. Kelly is in it and the song is catchy and in my opinion better than BGK. I'll just wait and see if he's on the next album. (Tuesday 1 July 2014; 3:19)

A couple of notes... and where is MC? (45,174) by Randy from USA Note that many was upset with MC's promotion of this album, yet J Lo has been on every show known to mankind promoting her album and she had a smaller first week. I can't say that MC's lack of promotion hurt her album. Picking YDKWTD as a first single would've probably helped though. The album is growing on me slowly. I really think Meteorite is a departure from anything she's ever done and MC is good for giving us something left field with each album. My favorites are still Cry, although I don't like the lyrics, Camaflauge, YDKWTD, One More Try, although her vocals are ghastly, Heavenly, It's a Wrap, although I hate MJB's speech at the beginning, Becha Gonna Know and TAOLG, although the lyrics need work. Even though the album is growing on me, I think it's her worst by far. My last question is what is MC doing? It's very quiet so what project is she working on? I kind of think she is letting the album phase out and then will sign a new deal and release another album within a year. I also smell trouble for her and Nick. When they got married, I gave it 7 years. You aren't seeing them together much anymore. I don't wish anything bad on anyone but I feel as though they aren't well meshed. She's high maintenance and he's immature. (Tuesday 1 July 2014; 1:31)

Mariah's first album and Madonna's 80s records (which were huge) are therefore estimated or they go by what the record companies shipped to stores. Mariah is the best selling of the soundscan era by far, but other artists like Celine and Whitney also had huge albums in the 80s which is why there is a debate about it. (Tuesday 1 July 2014; 0:06)

Mariah and her age (45,170) by Jono from USA I think Mariah should be free to wear whatever she wants, it's her body, and how she wants to present it should be up to her and not what the media expects. That being said, I do think Mariah is afraid of aging. Marilyn Monroe is her image icon, and she's the epitome of glam. I feel that Mariah thinks that she will no longer be considered sexy as she gets older, when in reality she is one of the most beautiful woman in the world. Sexy can be understated too, it doesn't solely just rest on the amount of skin being shown. (Monday 30 June 2014; 21:34)
