Funny Mariah pop-ups (42,288) by Will from England Well, this weeks certainly has been good to me on two occasions regarding Mariah. Firstly, during a lecture about how artists use science to convey messages and ideas, my lecturer decided to use E=MC2 as an example. I can tell you honestly, I have never been that excited in my whole life. I didn't even realise at first what was going on until my friends turned to look at me (because they know I'm crazy ) to get my reaction. And the second was, I finally saw the remix video for YME on a chart TV show. I have no idea what show it was, all I know is, is that in my very little corner of Wales, her video was playing in a pub and that made me very, very happy indeed. And you know what? I loved the video even more. At no point did I feel embarrassed that it was playing or think "Oh God, put them away Mariah." I just sat there, and enjoyed the video for what it was. Mariah stories (42,286) by Manny from U.S. Please more stories on meeting Mariah. I'm enjoying the stories much. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting her. I know of three lambs that did. One of my friends met her during Rainbow era at Virgin records (in store signing). He said what other people mentioned here. That TV does not do justice to her. That her skin is flawless and her speaking voice was distinctive. My other two friends met her backstage in San Diego (Charmbracelet tour). They said she was tall; she smelled delicious (like body spray) and was wearing a lot of make up. One friend said she looked like a human Barbie because she's so beautiful. Wow, I can't believe I remembered what they said. I mentally took notes. Am I obsessed or what? I hope I met her "someday", I liked her since VOL. (Saturday 22 March 2014; 3:51)

Acapella / single (42,284) by Marquise from USA Hey lambs, check out this great acapella version of "You're Mine", it is flawsome. PS. Glad to see You're Mine climbing up the charts slowly without any promo. Either Mariah will eventually promote the song when May gets closer or release a new single to promote the album with. I hope she sticks with You're Mine and promote it, I really love this song, it is so beautiful and catchy. It would be a shame to see yet another song of hers not reach its full potential like #Beautiful. Lets hope for the best and make sure we support Mariah so she can snatch some wigs dahlings. Album release / Stephen-Edward / managers (42,283) by 123 from USA Stephen/Edward, I don't agree with your hypothesis. Mariah said on an interview that "people" kept telling her to drop the album and let it do what it does. By "people", I believe she is referring to the label and management. She said she didn't want to do that because it didn't feel complete etc. I believe the reason why it haven't come out yet is because of one thing, ego. Mariah wants a hit, point, blank, period. She wants to be on top and is used to having a song or two charting well before she releases it. Everyone is claiming she shouldn't have friends as managers but JD has done a good job, and no one can make her do what she doesn't want to do. Everyone wants her to phone Benny, but does anyone remember E=MC2? As soon as the album dropped, she disappeared. He was her manager then. Chris Lightly couldn't get her to promote Obsessed or Memoirs, because she decided to promote Precious for Lee and because she felt she had potential Oscar buzz in film which she has always wanted to be successful in. I guess she felt she could flop a few records and always come back she has already made one of the biggest comebacks in history. I just want her to not release anything else until the album is done. I may be alone on this one, but I still want her to promote You're Mine once she is done with the album. (Saturday 22 March 2014; 2:02)

MC in the flesh (42,280) by Special K from USA I have had the privledge of meeting Mariah in the flesh once and attended a few concerts. One thing for sure, tv does not due Mariah justice. That chick is beautiful. Her skin is flawless, and those deeps dark bambie brown eyes will make you melt. She always looks smaller in person than on tv. I met Mariah during the Rainbow era at some record store. When I shook her hand she held onto mine real tight. Someone said her hands were clamy. I agree with that. Anyways, I asked Mariah to sign my Mariah Carey album. Yes album on vinyl. Mariah looked at it and said, "Oh I don't have this on vinyl. Can I have yours?" I was like, "Oh hell no." Mariah straight busted out laughing and gave me a big hug. That was a hella cool moment I will always cherish. (Saturday 22 March 2014; 1:45)

Mimi's still got it (42,279) by PeterB from UK Hi everyone. I've been a reader on this forum for a long time but now I'm finally posting. I am disappointed that the album has been pushed back yet again. However, I know that Mimi still has mega star quality. Her impromptu performance of "Fly like a bird/the art of letting go" showcases her vocal strengths. I transferred the mp3 of this to my iPod and I listen to it nearly everyday. I love the rawness of this performance as it is totally stripped back and highlights her strong vocals. For all the doubters who say that she can't cut it live anymore, just listen to this performance. Hopefully the new album will see the light of day sometime this year. (Friday 21 March 2014; 23:08)

An all-time low (42,273) by Marissa from USA I honestly hope to God that Mermaid In Disguise is not the official title of the album. I'm sorry but that sounds like the name of an album Hillary Duff would have released in 2003. To me that title is just straight up embarrassing. Supporting "You're Mine" (42,272) by KeShawn Taylor from United States Good afternoon lambs. I think it is fair to note that while "You're Mine" is receiving close to no promotion, it is rising and appearing on more and more charts. I just checked the charts myself where it is at 45 on the R&b/Hip Hop Chart, in the top 40 on the Pop Chart, Dance Chart, R&B/Hip Hop Airplay, Rhythmic Top 40 and in the top 30 of the R&B Chart. While Mariah is finishing the album and not promoting, we need to assist her. I challenge each of you to for a full week, in honor of 3/27, to call every radio station possible hourly requesting to hear "You're Mine (Eternal)". In addition, lets all commit to constant views of the video on YouTube and Vevo to assist its streaming. As the lambily lets do our part to help secure this new era that is slowly but surely picking up. Can anyone post radio phone numbers for us to call hourly starting Monday? Just a thought (42,270) by Terna from Nigeria I have a feeling Mariah is working on more than one album, that would explain a lot. Knowing how unsurpportive IDJ have become rescently, she's not about to let them ruin this era with their issues. She is much aware of the fact they are to blame over the underperformance of MOAIA and the wrong single choices since E=MC2 era. Bill and Mariah in the flesh (42,269) by Me. I am Carly from USA Haha that was totally funny, thanks. I have learned to not take this board so seriously. Why in the world should I? It is just for laughs. For the lamb who asked how she is in person, well when I first saw her I was amazed at her skin, it is just so incredibly beautiful, the tone and the health of it. Mariah has the most wonderfully dark eyes like black pearls. Because I am so tall 5' 9 and a half I was surprised that she was just under my height with her tall heels. I find her to be, although otherwise noted, about 5'8". She is very full on top and a slim waist perfect long doll legs. At one point when meeting her she stepped out of her limo legs first, she truly should be insured. Her hair is quite fine in person. Mariah has always had a clammy hand when I have touched it and all fans agree she is slim but still soft. (Friday 21 March 2014; 19:07)

Mariah in person (42,268) by Martyn from England, UK Interesting question. I've been lucky enough to meet Mariah in person and I just remember being surprised at how tiny she was (in weight, I mean). The media always make it out as though she's "fat" or "chubby", when in fact, she has an incredibly small waist. But the main thing I noticed is how warm and wonderful she was, and how much time she made for the fans. She signed my t-shirt and had a little chat with me, and although I found it difficult to respond because I was shaking so much, she was just incredible. So genuine and sweet. Butterfly (The one with her eyes closed, so innocent yet sultry, just like the album.) TEOM (I love that she has that amazing powerful stance thing going. I'm the queen and I'm fabulous so move over.) E=MC2 (It's sexy and classy, although she's nude, it's not that visible so that's good. It's like a second black and white version of TEOM, which is fitting since its kinda the sequel to TEOM.) Album title (42,266) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Ugh I sincerely hope that's not the album title. While I agree with the person who said Mariah has proven herself already and has nothing to prove and may just choose to not release the album (I will be terribly sad but hey, Mariah's happiness comes first), however if she does choose to release the album as planned, I definitely hope that's not the title. Just "Mermaid" should be fine, if that's the theme she wants to keep. But Mermaid In Disguise? Does that even make sense? I saw a lot of posts asking why Mariah had 3 different versions of her on the MOAIA cover, I think Mariah confirmed it was because she wanted the cover to reflect the variety of emotions that the songs in the album portrays, I don't mind 3 of her on the cover, although the shadows and body proportions were unreal, but it's fine, I hope this time she goes for a more matured sexy cover, she is so beautiful she doesn't need much to look good. You're Mine (eternal) (42,265) by B from USA I don't get it. You're Mine is a great song and it's slowly but surely climbing the charts. IMO, it's her best song/single since Touch My Body with the exception of #Beautiful. BTW, I love the video. Stop hating. I hated Triumphant but didn't log on and complain about it daily.
