It's Only Make Believe (87,594) by Licia from USA Ok so I play this little game called SongPop on Facebook and they have a MC category (which you know I breeze through that one lol) and this song came up. I've never heard of the song or the main singer (which is Sam Moore). It's nice. Mariah is mainly background and singing the chorus in her whistles which is kind of cool. I completely understand and I'm sympathetic to where she was at mentally, but she had to have had some moments where she saw these people for who they were. I refuse to believe that Mariah was that oblivious to what was going on around her. Especially when a lot of people tried to warn her. All in all I hope for the best. If these "intimate videos" surface and it's not of her doing anything illegal such as drugs, I'd keep it moving. She's an adult and I'm sure she's having sex. I can't believe what a 20 year-young Mariah was able to record. A true legendary album. After listening the first few seconds of "Vision of love" you knew a new star was born. The voice, the power, the softness, it's a real pleasure to listen to the album. And yes, even "You need me" rocks. The rap from "Prisoner" is so cool and sweet at the same time. I miss those days. It's amazing that we could see, even through the media, the immense damage that was lurking yet poor Mariah couldn't. I totally understand, though, how she fell victim of these blackmailers. When you're totally devastated due to personal circumstances (and the second divorce was enough to overwhelm her) it is likely that you do things out of character. Such disgusting people. The debut (87,579) by Bill from the UK I'm going through one of my phases where I do nothing but play the debut album on repeat. What an introduction, what a voice. I love all the songs so much, even There's Got to Be a Way and You Need Me, which I sometimes see get some, for want of a better word, "shade" on here. The Prisoner rap is something else.
