December 7 show (91,557) by Warren from Trinidad & Tobago
Lambs, after hearing all the differing opinions here in the past years, after having been to this show, apart from the end of When Christmas Comes, the crescendo in Hero and AIWFCIY for some strange reason there was no discernible lipping. In fact I think the 7 days rest did wonders as she over delivered vocally on most songs. My guests too were so impressed and I was chatting with random folks who were extremely impressed with the show. The lady next to me was in tears from the second song. Impressive performance.

Really agree with you here Edward. I like some of Taylor's music. I also enjoy some of Ed Sheehan's cataloge. I will never be the kind of fan to put other artists down in Mariah's name. Nor do I feel that is an accurate requirement of being a lamb. Christmas Tree Farm is just OK. I don't see it being played 30 years from now as a Christmas classic. It may be a cute song, but it is far from a timeless Christmas essential in my opinion. I can see radio stations mixing it with a Christmas music for the holidays but it is not a monster hit like Mariah's or Bing's or even Wham!

Re: AIWFCIY midweek update (91,547) (91,555) by Bobby A from United States
On Twitter, TeamMariah and MariahChina are reporting a 57.9 percent increase in streaming this weekend. They are predicting that AIWFCIY could be Number #2 on Hot 100 on Tuesday. Let's keep streaming Lambs.

One week until Madison Square Garden (91,554) by Chicago Lamb from USA
I saw Mariah at MSG for her NYE show exactly 10 years ago for what I believe was her last performance at the venue. I hope she'll bring a surprise guest or two on stage. Any other lambs going? Looking forward to a festive and momentous show, and a 19th #1.

Re: Taylor Swift (91,550) (91,553) by Musti from UK
I don't see this song as a threat. Taylor's songs don't skyrocket like they used to. Lover Man barely made it to top 10. I doubt the radio or the public in general will cut down on AIWFCIY to make time for this borefest. I hope I'm not wrong.

Christmas Tree Farm is TS Christmas song dropped a couple of days ago. Well, it was also catchy but not as catchy and danceable compared to AIWFCIY. However, her popularity makes a lot of difference that it could prevent MC's 19th #1... or not.

Re: Taylor Swift (91,550) (91,551) by Edward from USA
I like Ariana, but she's tried Christmas song after Christmas song and it's not going to happen. As for Taylor, her song is cute, nothing that stays in your mind, not a catchy chorus, nothing memorable or remarkable. I'm not being a hater, I don't put other artists down to put Mariah on a pedestal like most of her fans do, but "Christmas Tree Farm" is not competition. People streaming her video are mostly her fans, people streaming "AIWFCIY' are fans and non-fans. If there's a song that's going to block Mariah from being #1 this years is not "CFT" or another Ariana's failed attempt at creating a classic.

Re: Taylor Swift (91,548) (91,550) by Eduardo from Mexico
The only singers I was afraid of on releasing a Christmas song were Ariana and Taylor, and my fear just became reality with Taylor releasing her awful Christmas song, we're ruined. Forget about Mariah's 19th number one. And I don't doubt either Ariana releases a new song too.

I still can't believe that I was actually part of this.

She might ruin the possibility of 19th No.1 through "All I Want" if Taylor drops a Christmas single for her Christmas album. So, let's all do what we have to do and keeps our finger crossed that it won't. Happy Christmas.

Can you imagine Mariah being #1 at the same time in the UK and the US? What a feast.

Re: December 26th AIWFCIY lamb streaming party (91,544) (91,546) by Bobby A from United States
We really should have a streaming party every weekend leading up to the weekend before Christmas. I believe AIWFCIY could be number one the weekend before Christmas if we stream heavy these next two weekends.

And hot off the press, now the end of week UK chart has been released and she has catapulted into the top ten and is now at number 8.

In my neighborhood in the USA, I have a radio station that plays all Christmas music. I swear AIWFCIY was played every hour, lol. No complaints from me, lol.

All I can say is that everywhere I go I hear AIWFCIY and nothing from Taylor Swift. Yesterday I went to the city and the Christmas market, Mariah was "following" me with her song. The crowd was also loving it.

Re: December 26th AIWFCIY lamb streaming party (91,537) (91,539) by T from USA
This is the kind of unfocused strategy that will help it miss the #1 spot. It's never going to happen in the weeks leading up to Christmas. Mariah's team knows this that's why all single shipments are happening on December 20th. Let's take the cue from them and make it happen. My point is Boxing Day on the 26th is where we may loose the top spot so if anything is going to be organized it should be for that day to keep the song up.

AIWFCIY possibly already top 10 this week (91,538) by jaker20 from US
We will find out today or tomorrow. If that is true, we should start heavy streaming this very week. Wouldn't it be sweet if she gets a no.1 this decade, and then in the first week of the next decade?

Re: December 26th AIWFCIY lamb streaming party (91,535) (91,537) by jaker20 from US
December 20-26. That's the key. But it's moving so fast right now it could get higher sooner. Let us not worry who will or will not surprise release. We have the streaming support of the pubic. Honestly, the new Taylor song sounds so awful. It sounds like a ripoff of so many other Christmas songs.

Christmas Tree Farm will not be a #1, nor a classic. But, we love everyone.

December 26th AIWFCIY lamb streaming party (91,535) by T from USA
I think the only (and best) shot for #1 is going to be Christmas week. December 20-26, those seven days. Period. The world shuts down and AIWFCIY takes over. The only day to watch is the 26th. Airplay, sales and streams will die a big death that day so the fans have to commit to a big streaming party or something that day. Like the first anniversary of Caution when we got streams 20% higher on that day alone. Can this be organized? Take nothing for granted she could literally miss the #1 spot by two points.
