Re: The singles this era (88,343) (88,363) by B from USA
I'm also taking a break from the board to preserve my sanity. I might return, I might not.

It hasn't been confirmed. If it has please share your source or sources? That app can updated by anyone, is that your only source?

Mariah and Justin recorded a duet version of Yours for Charmbracelet but his people didn't want him to associated with her at that time and then during TEOM they reached out to her and she declined.

Nobody really knows if Mariah really even wanted to collaborate with any of these artists for real. She probably didn't want too. I'm pretty sure Mariah could make a song with anybody. I mean she's doing a concert with John legend. People are not turning her down.

I get that a lot of the lambs may not know Stefflon, but can we at least see the video and hear what they came up with before we doom it to hell? I don't even like the damn song, but I'm at least willing to give it one more try with the video to like it. I've heard a couple of her songs. She's alright. I prefer Cardi, Lil Kim, or Missy, but I'm hoping Stefflon brings something good to the song nonetheless.

Re: A No No feat. Stefflon Don (88,357) (88,358) by Matthew from USA
It's not the first time she wasn't able to pull someone she wanted. She supposedly tried to get Justin Timberlake to do something with Yours from the Charmbracelet album. He was hot stuff at the time and Mariah was just coming back from a rough period and I guess his people advised him not to associate. In the end Mariah is a legend, and Timberlake is a guy who was really popular once. He then had to introduce Mariah as a legend for the Stevie Wonder You and I tribute, so that was funny. So if Cardi turned her down, that's her loss. You don't get to work with legends every day. Anyway, I'm excited for the video. I hope it has a story board and is not just glamour shots.

A No No feat. Stefflon Don (88,357) by T from USA
It's been confirmed that the remix features Stefflon Don. Looks like MC doesn't have the pull she once used to. She was looking for Kim and Cardi and couldn't even end up with Missy. Shame.

Re: A No No - Cardi B (88,356) by ksquarred from paris
We will know tomorrow. But, if not Cardi B, I'm sure there's a prominent featured artist, because they clearly invested money on this video (hired dancers, shot more than 4 days, rented a set at Warner Brothers). They didn't invest as much on With You and GTFO, which had incredibly cheap videos, and they were the first singles, supposed to push the album. They don't put that much money on Mariah alone anymore. And there's a clip on instagram of one of the dancers getting prepped on set where you can hear a female rapping in the background. Well, maybe it's that british rapper.

Even in Norway did Music Box sell more than 200,000, and that's a small country with less inhabitants than the number of people living in New York City.

You've already mentioned Caution has sold 191,000 copies worldwide, like it's something to be proud of. Instead I would call Caution a big flop worldwide. Music Box sold 28 millions copies worldwide and 600,000 copies in the Netherlands alone.

I agree with him. So many people wrote CB off, but if you actually listen to it, it's a phenomenal album. Vocally it may have turned some off, but lyrically it's great. I stand behind #JusticeforCharmbracelet. Lol.

Re: The singles this era (88,346) (88,349) by B from USA
GTFO was a buzz song that generated interest in With You which is a hit on Adult Contemporary and R&B radio. Caution has sold 191,000 copies worldwide and garnered Mariah the best reviews of her storied career and the Caution World tour is getting rave reviews from fans and critics alike. This era has been anything but messy.

They do look very similar, don't want to get my hopes up if she is really isn't on the track. Maybe she is just a guest appearance In the video.

Andrew, dahhhling, please keep in mind that Mariah is at a point in her life where she has absolutely nothing left to prove. She owns 5 Grammys, sold over 200 million records worldwide, has had 18 number one hits, performed all over the world and is hopefully hella busy counting all her blessings, because I know I would. Mariah has some rough years behind her and I think, that she just wants to have some fun in her life.

I can't imagine what it's like to be in this industry for 29 years, because I already get tired by watching her schedule. Mariah is that kinda woman, that can put on a Hollywood smile for the cameras, even there is a mess going on behind the scenes. Also remember she turns 49, even we aren't counting numbers, this isn't an easy age for any woman out there. She is touring, putting out new music, serving some good looks lately and still some lambs aren't happy about it.

Yes, I'm not a big fan of her new material, that's no secret. But I appreciate the fact, that she is performing some old songs within this tour, while sounding pretty good singing them.

Mariah had some fantastic fan moments in the past few month and to be honest, I don't know any other superstar like her, who is always so kind towards her fans and showing them so much love.

At this point, I'm very proud of her, because we already lost MJ, George Michael, Prince, Whitney, Amy Winehouse and many other singers way too soon. We all should be happy that Mimi is still alive and she is doing fine.

She will never be the same Mariah she was 20 years ago, which is totally fine to me, because I can always listen to the songs of my KWEEN of the 90's and sing the hell out of them, while moisturizing my slender physique.

Mariah is trying to deliver and if you didn't receive her delivery yet, my sweetheart, let her go. I know you want her to succeed, like most of us want her to succeed, but negativity isn't the key to success. I'm sending you some positive vibes, Andrew.

A No No - Cardi B (88,344) by ksquarred from paris
I m pretty sure Cardi is featured in the video. If you look at that clip which leaked around the time the music video was shot and compare it to the teaser Mariah has posted, it's the same set and the same lighting.

Many here welcomed Andrew back. I for one, get's another reminder of how negative this board becomes with the arrival of the lost son. I'm taking a break from this board, not going to read endless rants about how bad Mariah is at her work.

Notice that no featured artist are mentioned in the teaser video? I think those denials were intentional. Those denials created interest and hype.

Clearly A No No is not being pulled. Feels like she's giving me a birthday present with that video. And the snippet looks hot. I'd use a lot of exclamation marks but Eric won't send 'em through. Not a remix but it'll do.
