Giving Me Life (86,203) by Bobby A from United States
Why does Blood Orange receive a feature credit? Is that one of his requirements as a producer to get a feature credit? He has the same feature credit on John Legend's latest song. The title slips my mind right now.

I am begging Mariah to do a lengthy mini movie music video. Dark visuals. It has to happen. This is her best song in years.

The other 6 songs (86,201) by Deedre aka MiTodoChop @HBF from Canada
I love Caution and Portrait. I know some of you feel Caution is generic. I just find the song to be very sexy without being overly sexual. I love how the lyrics fall fast to the rhythm of the music and she references the north star which is significant to me.

I'm all for atmospheric and moody tracks as a rule, but I'm just not feeling Giving Me Life at all. I'm glad so many of you like it, but I find the background instrumentation in the song incredibly distracting and jarring to her vocals. Especially since I love her lower register. Slipping Away is one of my favorite songs but Giving Me Life doesn't do it for me. Maybe it's a grower and I'll like it later, but right now it's not my thing.

OMG doesn't really grab me either I wish it did. Sigh. I like 8th Grade though. Stay Long Love You reminds me of when she did "U Make Me Wanna". Not a song I would have ever bought on own, but it has a way of getting stuck in your head

Re: 8th grade (86,199) (86,200) by B from USA
I was pleasantly surprised by 8th Grade after being underwhelmed by their first collaboration Skydiving. I hope she works with him again and continues to experiment with her sound.

8th grade (86,199) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
I dropped out of school after jk but all jokes aside this song is one of the best songs MC has ever done. The breakdown is amazing. Her and Timbaland together created an amazing song. I would not mind them working together on more material because they really out did themselves with this one. I have to say I been playing this album nonstop and I love it more and more with each listen. MC definitely gave me an early Christmas gift with this new album.

Giving Me Life (86,198) by Special K from USA
Wooooo. Wow. Whoa. This song is on a whole another level. I can't even know what to say. That song is straight boss, genius. And then she got Slick Rick, the Hip Hop God on that joint. Oh my goodness. This is my song straight up. Mariah has got to do an epic, and I mean epic video for this song.

Thank goodness you removed that hideous avatar. I love (all caps) "One Mo 'Gen" it was instantly a favorite with the first listen like GTFO.

Re: Multiple copies (86,146) (86,196) by Terna from Nigeria
You with all the money you've made from this website need to buy 50 copies. And send me one while you are at it. Ps: I want the Japanese version.

Re: Robert Anthony (86,105) (86,195) by Terna from Nigeria
I totally get you it fell flat for me as the title seemed so mysterious. I was expecting a Mariahesque slow jam or ballad instead of this repetitive annoying sound she's making on this record. Anyway "Runway" totally made up for that misstep.

Re: Terna (86,157) (86,194) by Terna from Nigeria
Oh dear, I was hoping you didn't see it. OK I'll play "To The Floor" to appease you. Lol.

Caution (86,193) by B from USA
Caution has the same jittery R&B vibe that made Destiny's Child biggest hits so potent.

Re: Stay Long Love You (86,138) (86,192) by B from USA
I don't understand the Macarena comparison but I'm also loving Stay Long Love You. Mariah's Caution collaborations prove that she still owns the thug-love genre that she helped pioneer when she worked with Ol' Dirty Bastard on the Fantasy remix.

Caution (86,191) by B from USA
According to Metacritic Caution is "universal acclaimed". Caution's Metascore is an 83/100.

Re: TY Dolla lipping Fallon (86,165) (86,190) by Lexingz from Estonia
Yeah I noticed when he put down the mic when his voice was still going as well. But rappers perform with backing tracks all the time (nobody cares about their ability to reproduce "quality" of their vocals like that), so I don't think it was a big deal.

Amazon sales (86,189) by T from USA
Hey everyone. To improve the SEO for caution on Amazon and iTunes, make sure to post your reviews. I just reviewed on Amazon and the album has a total of 6 reviews now. We can do better. Reviews make a huge difference. And the Amazon algorithms pay close attention to how fast those reviews come in, since it indicates excitement for the new product. (I’m an author and do a lot of this for my books.) Please post your reviews.

Buy and stream, stream and buy (86,188) by T from USA
Guys I don't want to sound like a broken record but we gotta buy more of this album and stream the crap out of it. If it fails to even reach 50,000 first week I'm afraid the label will abandon this project and Mariah herself may never mention it again. She is very sales driven and after the cycle it will end up being the latest Glitter, Charmbracelet, MIAMTEC. Lets do more for the first week so we can look forward to some more weeks.

4/10 = 2* (86,186) by Andrew from UK
I tried to revisit Caution on a few occasions and see the best in the tracks. Alas, I am truly perplexed as to what many people here are hearing. GTFO, With You, A No No and Portrait all stand out, they are thematically quite different and have decent melodies. That's four good songs out of ten. Four? The other six blend into each other in one long agonising, soporific march toward blandness. MC might be able to reproduce most of this live (seemingly with a vocoder on assist) but who would want to hear it? It may well set the Guinness Record for inducing 20000 comas at once. There are no decent hooks, no memorable lyrics, no standout vocal moments, no exciting instrumentation: it's just a joyless snoozefest. "One Mo Gen"? Favourably comparing anything on Caution to Butterfly is utterly blasphemous and I will have pistols at dawn for any heretic who does so.

Re: Fallon (86,177) (86,184) by 90sMariah from SG
Who cares? She lip synced the hell out of the song that I couldn't even know for sure. That's what I and many of us have wished for that she could pull off a good miming and she did it really well and she didn't embarrass herself. So that's all.

Caution (86,183) by B from USA
I still believe With You was the righ choice as the first single since it's still climbing the R&B and Adult Contemporary charts. I think The Distance should be the second single followed by Giving Me Life and 8th Grade. I have absolutely no complaints about this era, the album, or its rollout. Hoping for a #1 debut on the Billboard 200.

Re: Caution vs MIAMTEC (86,168) (86,181) by B from USA
I know after reading that Showbiz 411 review I was sure it wasn't written by Roger but it was and I was floored, lol. Now he's claiming Glitter charting is a hoax or a glitch in the system and will be sorted out.

Re: Fallon (86,177) (86,179) by Licia from USA
RuPaul is a huge fan so I could see him helping. Lol. At least she put some effort into making it look believable. Lipped or not I enjoyed this particular performance better than the one on tour. I believe she sang more on Fallon than she did on the tour one and I definitely know she lipped a lot that night. Lol.
