AIWFCIY hitting a new high (87,337) by darrian liu from taiwan
I couldn't believe it. It defied my expectations of it not scratching the top 5. I did say it could hit top 5 at first, but seeing the chart predictions, they all predicted it would peak below the top 5. Turns out we didn't only get a top 5 peak, we got a top 3 peak. This is amazing. What a way to end the year. By the way, happy, happy new year to all of you. May all of you have another year of love, light, and happiness.

I wish I paid more attention during my German lessons in school.

Andrew gone (87,335) by T from USA
Do you think there is a correlation between Mariah's amazing positive year and Andrew's decline in posting and subsequent departure? Mariah is flawless right now.

Thanks Tijl. I wish the same for you and for the MCA family around the world. 2018 was one of the hardest years for me personally. So I look forward to 2019. And thanks to the webmaster. I really appreciate to come here and enjoy you all.

Re: Walter (87,326) (87,333) by B from USA
Christmas is over so Walter can go crawl back into whatever cave he crawled out of and we can focus on Mariah and Caution.

Re: Caution 2019 (87,315) (87,332) by B from USA
I believe a remix of A No No with or without Cardi will propell the album back up the charts. I hope Mariah and Epic also release Caution, 8th Grade, and Giving Me Life as singles. I'm still loving this album.

Thanks for posting but I couldn't really hear her answer. I heard that big no though.

Happy new year (87,330) by anonymous from UK
Wishing all lambs, fans and everyone else a happy new year, and sending sincerest good wishes for us all to have a hapy, healthy and successful 2019. Tomorrow (New Years Day) I turn 30 and I’d just like to say, thank you to Eric for this site which has been in my life since I was 13 years old, and to all the board members, old and new, for keeping this little party going. Onwards and forever upwards.

Re: Christmas (87,325) (87,329) by anonymous from UK
That's a great line, Bill, very appropriate. I remember exactly what I said to her. "Hey Mariah, the show was amazing. What do you think of the ensemble?" Yes, I actually said that. She told me "fabulous, dahhhhling" in that sexy drawl of hers and I walked out. I'd waited all my life to see her, and all I could ask Mariah Carey was whether she liked my outfit using a well known Mariahism. It's such a blur, if I didn't have a picture, I'd genuinely not believe it actually happened and just think it was a dream.

Walter (87,326) by Billy from Greece
Since his name has been discussed a lot lately, here's Mariah's take.

Re: Christmas (87,323) (87,325) by Bill from the UK
Hi Mara, wow what a present. Happy birthday to you. I've never met Mariah but I would feel exactly the same as you are, as she's been a constant in my life since I was a little boy and I honestly don't know what I'd do if she was standing in front of me. Nerves are a good thing, and as Anthony said prepare yourself for the briefest of encounters as I've heard it's literally a wave into the room, click, see you later type of thing. Maybe plan out the one sentence you want to say to her, like "Thank you for writing Outside, it changed my life" or something brief like that. I'm really excited for you. Going to be a day you'll never forget, all the best for it and please tell us all how it went.

Yes, Jeff is right. in "Its Like That" MC warns "caution, it's so exclusive". Well done. Happy New Year everyone.

Re: Christmas (87,308) (87,323) by Mara from United States
Thank you Anthony and MusicfanJ and thank you MusicfanJ for the birthday wishes. I'm glad you understand what I was trying to say. I do realize it will literally be a hi/bye pic type of meeting but you still say something to her. I guess I'm just beyond excited but there is so many emotions at the same time. I too would love to just see MC somewhere and just interact with her like a regular person. It must be nice to run into her in Aspen or a restaurant or whatever. Anyhow, I hope everyone has a wonderful New Year's Eve whenever that may be and thank you Eric for keeping the best MC fan page with the most informative news archives as well as complete discography out there. We appreciate you.

Caution trivia (87,320) by Jeff from USA
When I heard "Caution", I immediately thought of "It's Like That". Caution, it's so explosive. Them chickens is ash, I'm lotion. Is that what you were thinking?

Proceeding with Caution (87,319) by Jeff from USA
Now that Christmas is over, do y'all think Caution can come back into the spotlight? I hope so. I'm so excited that the album is popular with critics, and I hope that the general public embraces it. This is such an amazing offering from MC. I hope it gets the attention it deserves.

Re: Being in your 20s (87,307) (87,318) by TJ from Norway
I enjoyed my 20's, still feel like 27, but I love being in my 40's. Life is more stable, and I'm more aware of the choices I take in life. Even if I feel like 27, I don't try to act like a 27 years old guy. Too bad that ageing seems like a negative thing in the music business.

Re: Being in your 20s (87,307) (87,317) by RibbonB from USA
I know that s right Licia. And raising them around different randoms is bound to be problematic over time.

Caution 2019 (87,315) by Ricardo Edwards from New Zealand
So all the reviews are raves, Mariah has had a stellar year in terms of publicity, but is this enough to catapult that album back up the charts? I read on this thread that With You was holding at #8 on the AC chart. Radio just won't play her anymore. How can we turn this around?

Re: Rodney Jerkins (87,296) (87,314) by B from USA
Never Say Never has ballads on it produced by Jerkins, doesn't it?
