They should do the same for When Christmas Comes, especially since she co wrote it with the Roots' James Poyser. They are such talented musicians.

I agree Edward. I bought multiple copies, streamed Caution a bunch and I know many other people did as well. Until a Mariah song connects with the general public again, we will continue to see her sales like this.
Also, We Are The Lambs USA, why do you try to put everyone down who continues to support Mariah? Please stop, you're sounding very Stella like. Come down. The mowers are off, you can go back into the grass.

Mariah hasn't produce anything worthy of streaming? Are you saying Caution isn't worthy of being streamed, Edward? P.S. Don't feed the trolls.

Once again mini Mimi channeled her inner Mariah in her newest single "Imagine". Whistle tone much? When can this girl have an identity?

I apologize for the grammatical errors in my previous message. I've been having a rough few months. My grandmother had a stroke and isn't doing too well. If you pray please say a pray for her. She would always buy me Mariah's albums for Christmas. She would call Mariah Maria Carey, lol.

I've loved this ever since listen one. It's absolutely magical, every time I watch and listen, I grin from ear to ear the whole way through. It's just pure, innocent bliss. Just what Christmas should be all about.

What's the next holiday classic? (87,058)
by this_is_qhm from the Philippines

Anyone who has not at least heard AIWFCIY at this point is probably either fully deaf or not born yet. But it didn't really get off to an explosive start. Despite Mariah's popularity at its time of release, it was nowhere close to the overplayed classic it is today. It speaks so much of Mariah's caliber as an artist to achieve such success. It's one thing to have hit song. It's another to have a holiday gem. The former is a million times easier than the latter.
So many attempts by so many singers including Mariah herself have followed hoping to score similar success but have failed. However, to the credit of a few, they truly deserve to earn classic status. So among the modern original Christmas compositions you have heard since 1994, which songs do you think can and should be future classics?

With You is still doing well on Adult Contemporary, R&B, and Top 40 radio. With You is the only official single that's been released from Caution. GTFO was a buzz song. The second single is A No No or the remix featuring Lil Kim, Missy Elliot, and Cardi B is the second official single and radio will play it because Cardi B's on a hot streak. Mariah is going to abandon Caution like she did MIAM especially with her about to embark on a world tour to support the album.

And your name is? Who the "beep" do you think you are to blame lambs for Mariah's failure? Oh, I know who you are, the one who said on post (69,096) "Mariah's World is everything: Wow wow wow. This show was beyond anything I could have imagine, it was so great. I loved the Stella moments so much, I truly do respect her much more than I did. The Bianca moment was hysterical." We suck at streaming? What about she sucks at producing anything worth streaming in the past few years. What about the fact that Mariah's fan base has shrunk to a point where even buying multiple copies or streaming every day we cannot even get a video to 5 million views in two months? What about the fact that Mariah rarely puts out any music and due to people attention span they forget anything quick and they don't seem to be willing to wait for years and years when the options out there are endless? Lambs alone are not responsible for Mariah's success or failure, but the general public that used to connect to her and her music, those are the ones who are getting AIWFCIY to higher chart positions, not the lambs. You seem to live in La La Land. If you jump off a cliff trying to fly with an umbrella, you'll see how you break your Mary Poppins' behind. Even though we complain, most of us here are still very dedicated to Mariah's music, as in buying, following, going to concerts and supporting her in general. I got "Caution" twice because I wanted the Japan edition too, but there are others who got multiple copies of the album. What you see is a reflection of what's left of her fan base since it seems to be we're the only ones who care about her music nowadays.

Legend forever (87,051)
by We are Lambily from USA

Mariah wants attention? Lol the women literally steps out and magazines all over the world comment on whatever she does. Mariah doesn't need to take time away, this era was mostly about fixing Mariahs image. Mariah has always had to much integrity, let her call Drake, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars etc and watch her get commercial success. Since radio is ageist and the lambily suck at streaming, she will have to collaborate with big names. Also I sincerely doubt half of the people in this message board even bought the album. The lambily have become so lazy. Get your shit together.

I've never seen this. I love it. Mariah is so sweet while singing and the idea with the school instruments, just great. What year was it? Does anybody know? How could I miss that.
