How many artists can say they had #1 records spanning 2 decades? There are songs that I really like on those albums, but Caution is a play all the way through set on repeat. I know you've heard that before here, but its for a good reason. I'm trying to imagine exactly what you were expecting out of a new release. Oh, I listened to E=MC2 recently and agree its a really good album as its held up fairly well. Happy anniversary (86,836) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) I just wanted to give a shoutout and happy anniversary love to Charmbracelet which turned 16 years old today. This album contains some of MC’s best writing and storytelling at its finest. Even though the vocals for the most part on this album are subdued I appreciate this album for what it is at a time where MC was considered over and done she proved she can come out fighting and eventually come out victorious. This album was the set up for one of the greatest musical comebacks ever so I thank you Charmbracelet and happy anniversary. (Monday 3 December 2018; 22:43)

Except for that time she set a fashion trend in 1999 when she wore a pair of jeans with the waist bad cut off in the Heartbreaker video. I was a big worried after a year of blah vocals that her Christmas shows were going to be a let down. We are light years away from the Christmas show when Stella was working with Mariah. I'm realistic I don't expect her to ever completely drop her preference for sexy outfits. It many not be my personal choice, but we know she likes it. If fans don't like an outfit, I totally get that, that's cool but it can be said without publicly shaming her quite so much. If she wants to wear angel wings that light up on stage at Christmas is it really that big of a deal? She wasn't falling out of her dresses and she wasn't wearing a bra and panties on stage. (New York City) To me honestly I don't get a vibe of anyone else but MC herself and it just goes to show you that even when she works with other collaborators she is in control because every song has a MC feel and touch but still sounds fresh and that is what I am loving about this album. MC 1989 (86,821) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) MC and Beyoncé are two totally different people who choose to express themselves through their art whether it be music, and/or fashion. Last I checked MC has never been considered a fashion icon or anything close to it. I understand that times have changed where fashions have become a big requirement for some but it is not that deep. I understand that you may not like MC's Christmas tour fashion choices but no need to go off the deep end over something so pointless and minor. That's how Jeter described it in his book anyway. Some people like to fantasize about his importance and project him into the songs. Great writers write and create. I didn't see Beyonce standing there as a living Christmas Tree with Christmas lights over her dress and wings, without moving, like a statue. Take a look at Michael Jackson's "Will You Be There" video, look at the angel moment (minute 05:08) and how it's beautifully done, how it fits the song, and then watch Mariah with those tacky wings on singing the whole song with the wings on.
