And a lot of people claim to have a crush on me but when they meet me I have to sing, "You Don't Know What To Do". Nah I'm not happy with this era. I think anyone on this board, including those who don't like me, would handle MC better than her current handlers. We all agree on very little but we would've led with A No No and she would not have an album of ten songs and she would not be wearing Jessica Rabbit gowns nor would she be recording songs she couldn't sing live. When she does sing she is flat and struggling to get out of one octave. Some vocals seem like painful shouts. This cannot be healthy. She needs to stop touring and see a doctor. I love hearing stories about how these moments of genius come together. I’d love to know the behind the scenes around The Roof or My All. Those songs are pure poetry and the imagery and feelings they bring to the surface are something I can never quite put into words. If a song is a hit it will be a hit without promotion, and even without a face, remember Sia and that chandelier haha. I think it has to do more with the fact that producing new comers and sending them to fly away when the flavor is gone is the way things are done now. Social media and such has made it so easy for young artists to have their deals but they also don't have longevity at all. Yesterday it was Katy Perry, nowhere to be seen anymore truthfully, Lady Gaga became a grandma and "legend" at her 30s and the views and spins of her music have heavily decreased and this includes Iggy Azalea and such who came from YouTube flips all being replaced by new comers, and the new chewing gum is Dua Lipa and the likes, five years from now we won't hear about these people anymore. It's amazing that the likes of Mariah get to be heard at all. (Saturday 3 November 2018; 12:26)

She's trying to gain the young social media audience with these non single releases because older acts have trouble getting streams. Her team must have noticed that for some reason Mariah Carey "reaction" videos of her most memorable live performances seem to be quite popular. So drop a song in the middle of the night in the middle of the week, starting with a song where "Mariah Carey" is telling someone to GTFO. Seems to be working as there seems to be a lot of reaction videos to her new music and videos this era and young people seem to be interested in her music. She can't promote right now since she is on tour so why not throw out a song and video of one of the weaker tracks that will remind the young kids if the Mariah they knew (TEOM/WBT/DFAU) growing up. "She's going back to her old roots said a young blogger - lol. WY was only sent to AC formats because it was never planned to be promoted and it's probably the only song on the album that will be played on the soccer mom radio format. Once the album is released they can drop a stronger song which is usually the second single in her case and actually send it to radio formats with larger audiences and cross promote it with her Christmas music during her holiday take over. RTD holds a special place in my heart. Someone tried to commit suicide who was very close to me not too long ago and I played them the song and it became their anthem and gave them hope and the strength to keep living. They were surprised she still wrote such emotional songs. This is random but I sat with another Chicago lamb for a gathering and they randomly mentioned you and said "Isn't he bae?" Her new songs are being well received, the problem is her audience is limited by ageism. If The Distance or A No No were pushed by Epic with a Clear Channel deal like With You either song would catch on. I understand why they chose With You as the first single though. GTFO to get peoples attention, With You to cater to a mire AC demographic, TD for the HipHop lovers and ANN which to me is the real lead off single just in time for the release November 16th. Edward Scissorhands (85,568) by enwar00 from usa The kid inside me got excited when I realized that Mariah name drops Edward Scissorhands in A No No. Both MC and the movie came out in 1990 and were two of my favorite things from my childhood, and have remained so as an adult. The fact that they connect almost 30 years later is so random and funny to me. Mariah is one clever songwriter and I haven't appreciated or connected with any other artist's lyrics as a whole as much as hers. Another reason that I am a L4L. (Friday 2 November 2018; 23:34)

I don't think they intended to officially release the track but it leaked. My favorite part is the "I said no" chant at the end. I just picture MC having a diva tantrum. Caution World Tour (85,565) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines It's a great idea that Mariah has decided to kick off her upcoming world tour in her own country first. She should reunite with her domestic fans, especially those who can't afford to go to Vegas to see her residency. The public's response to Caution and its tracks have been lukewarm so far - praises abound, but none of that have really translated to sales or chart positions, or even additional hype from music and entertainment sites. I hope this tour that'll keep her in the US for a while really allows her to promote the album and its singles better, because chances of it doing well internationally stilll sort of depend of how well it has done in the US.
