Lol my nephew (who is 16 years old) wears Uggs and he looks very fly and fashionable in them. Hey, if you have confidence and great personal style you can make the ugliest piece of clothing look hot and yes Migrate should have been a single. Roc keep on rocking them Uggs.

I have been waiting so long for a new Mariah Carey album. I am so pleased to hear this news. Mariah can have success because she is working with Jay Z and Roc Nation. I am so ready for Mariah to shut up her critics. Cheers toast bravo to MC.

A new album is definitely coming, her nephew Shawn said that he went to spend some time with her recently and did not see her once because she has been in the studio working on a new album. He also stated she is in a very good place and is very excited being around her new team and creating.

Does a good parent mock his young son's footwear online (ostensibly because it's too feminine)? Nick is a [censored]. He broke because other people mocked him for not being the "man" of the relationship. Well, boohoo for him. And I have little sympathy for him because Mariah's career was soaring until she got with him. Then she practically gave up.

That's true. Who wouldn't leave if Stella and the circus is around? It's very frightening. I was frightened just to look at the pics at that time. Reminds me how good it is that she is gone with her clan.

Edward come through with the good word. I'd like to add along with Migrate being a single, that Uggs are ugly no matter who wears them. Girl or boy just throw them all away.

It wasn't going to work with him because I don't feel she really loved him. She might have liked him, but I didn't see love. I said the same thing about Packer and the kids in the beginning, but people got mad at me. Lol. In my opinion I don't think he wants someone more submissive. I think it was all the extra stuff going on around her that turned him away. Of course he was aware she's a superstar, but I'm sure he wasn't thinking that he'd hardly ever get alone time with his woman because she has to bring her traveling circus every time and everywhere. Imagine trying to have an intimate moment with your boo and Stella is sitting right there staring and taking pics. That's frightening. Lol.

Hi Edward, I think a lot of the lambily like Nick Cannon. I always thought Mariah and him look like a nice, sweet couple. She was always smiling and seemed very happy. Nobody will ever know the true reasons why it didn't last, it's private so everyone is just speculating including me. It's great that the kids have loving parents. I just don't like how he spoke in the past in some interviews about Mariah. There was one interview I won't repeat what exactly he said, but it was nothing a gentleman would say and tell the public. And I don't believe he had no chance to do right. Family should always be first, not the tv jobs. Let the people talk. He knew that she's one of the most famous singers in the world. Not easy, for any man. There are so many examples where the women were more famous and more powerful which lead to problems: Arthur Miller/Marylin Monroe, Richard Burton/Liz Tyler, Bobby Brown/Whitney Houston just to name a few. It has nothing to do with the skin colour or nationality. Like you have mentioned even a billionaire like James Packer couldn't handle it. I leave this topic that Mariah is no saint but Nick is also not only the almighty/Mr. Incredible ok?

"Nick is a good parent and that makes people crazy, it makes them angry that he's not just what they expected him to be. He's present in his kids lives and that's what matters." Besides his color, I definitely think this is what's setting off a lot of fans with these videos. I don't think most care about Nick teasing Rocky about his boots. Looking around at most of the negative comments, it seems to me that they really have this idea in their head of Mariah as a single parent or that For Hire is the kid's father and he's helping to raise the kids. No lie. A loser whose living off of their mother's money, that's who they think should be a father figure to them. To them, since Nick doesn't post a lot of pictures or videos with the kids, he's not with them, especially since he, and I know this is a sin, works. The vids that Nick has put up look to be across at least two days in a row, so they most likely stayed the night and these are so soon after his being with the kids at the Aquarium; it's bursting their bubble. So, now that their illusion that Nick is never around is damaged, they have to latch onto something else. And at the end of the day, Nick isn't crazy about Rocky's Uggs but he looks to have the right to choose what he wears seeing as he's worn them more than once in Nick's presence. That's all that matters. And looking at the vids, he didn't care about his dad's jokes nor took them seriously. He obviously has more humor and fortitude than many grown adults.

Packer (81,392)
by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
| |
|
|
Being realistic Packer was not going to last because to be honest the kids didn't really seem to connect with him, also Packer even though he had more money he was not going to be able to handle the extras and also MC's the entity was going to be a problem. Besides that I think that James would rather be with someone who is more submissive. On another note Mariah is human just like the rest of us, she is entitled to make mistakes just like we do, it's just her mistakes and missteps are magnified because of her who she is, and the weight her name carries. We have all made mistakes in relationships it's just ours are not on display for the world to see the way Mariah's are.

It takes two to tango, yet it seems to be that Nick was dancing the tango by himself, Mariah was just a damsel in distress who at that time only had slept with the equivalent 2.5 fingers worth of men, not even the equivalent of a complete Mary Poppins, "Hair Mariah full of Grace". She was done wrong by this black, thirsty, womanizer, big mouth, player man. We must say that when a black man doesn't have a job, he's a bad black man. When a black man has multiple jobs, he's also a bad black man. When he's a good parent regardless whether he's married to his baby mamas, he's also a bad black man. Some people are so full of shit/crap they should have three toilets in their house. Make a man feel emasculated and let's see how many minutes your marriage is going to last. They were destined to fail. Nick overworked his ass off trying to prove people wrong, yet it was never enough. And he cracked like any man would have. Nick is a good parent and that makes people crazy, it makes them angry that he's not just what they expected him to be. He's present in his kids lives and that's what matters, minus the pressure of being labeled all sorts of stuff just for being Mr. Carey. I'm happy for him and for his kids. Not even Shrek could deal with Mariah and her entourage, but I guess he was just another bad man. JD was responsible for demise of MIAM and Migrate should've been a single.

Love it too, it's a legendary concert. I watched it on tv, was it 98? I still have it on a VHS cassette. I feel old haha. Since then I love it. I totally agree, she was rocking the stage, a true diva. Everything was on point. The other divas/singers were great too. Good times.

I think Nick was a good choice and he helped her in a lot of ways. But Mimi has shown poor choice in male friends for years. I see nothing different in the paid one on staff now. When that story ends "cue the violins and violas", to quote the eloquent miss Janelle Monae from "Django Jane".

I agree, but did he actually say they aren't manly? I just see it as teasing, which in excess is not cool though. It's sort of like why Mimi let Roc use a binky until dang near puberty, even though Nick hated it. Mimi joked about that during the marriage and we kept seeing that thing during the divorce. Where co parenting stalls I suppose. But yeah both parents did things, some of which made me SMH.

Nick was a marriage, with children. Damizza was an ill advised fling. I think MC respects Nick's permanent position in her life, and that of their children, to not write a low rent diss song in the style of Thirsty about the father of her children. During the writing of MIAM, Mariah and Nick were married, and the album notes state how much she treasures her family. People over analysed everything in those songs once the divorce was public, but that album was in the works for years don't forget. Tom Fords, @-ing MC on Insta were all things Damizza was doing after they split, posting pictures of them and so on. Not sure if you've read Damizza's book, but he has a chapter about Mariah ("Don't Forget About Us") which is really interesting.

Being honest (81,385)
by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
| |

If I have to be honest both Nick and Mariah played a role in why they split. No one is better than the other on that front. The most important thing is to be the best parents possible for Roc and Roe. The only thing I don't like with Nick is him making fun of Roc for liking to wear to Uggs because he claims they are not manly. He is a child for Christ sake it is not a big deal. As long as the twins are clean, healthy, and being brought up and raised in a productive, and healthy environment that is all that matters. Everything else that happened in the past between Nick and Mariah should be left behind.

All the things Nick said during that time were so tasteless and hurtful. Imagine your husband would talk like that. It's not acceptable. I think even as a comedy act/entertainer it's completely wrong to talk about those private things. We all know Mariah hates it like nothing else. So maybe to be more "provocative" at the end was his plan like "the real deal" on this board said. I still think Nick was a bit starstruck from the beginning and realized that Mariah is only human with mistakes like everyone else. To be called Mr. Carey and took a back seat is not easy as well. But no surprise. That she trusted a self-exposer with a big mouth is hard to understand. Well must have been love.

"My All" (Divas Live) (81,383)
by Billy from Greece
| |
|
|
Lately, I've been obsessed with Mariah on the first VH1 Divas live concert. The way she owns the stage with "My All" from the very first step she takes is monumental. Every breath she takes, every muscle she moves, every look she gives, everything is flawless here. Not to mention the resonance in the first chorus in the "cause I can't go on" part. Just shattering. Next month it will be twenty years since the show took place.

Not to mention, Thirsty is a song about regret and remorse at the demise of a relationship. Mimi literally "don't know him", which is why the other is " Damizzerable". Whatever their association, Mimi dusted her hands and gave ugly little "Damizzerabke" dust, unlike breaking up with Nick which seemingly filled her with regret, especially with kids involved.
