Here we go again - NYE take 2 (80,038) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines Yaaaaaaas Mariah. That is how you handle s**t. This move is probably the most strategically brilliant one she has done in years. If she slays this, it would be just brilliant from a PR perspective, especially coming off of her recent major successes - the Golden Globe nomination and AIWFCIY hitting the top 10. And with the latter, it's only apt that she closes this year at the same event that brought her infamy last year. So go ahead, Mariah, this is make or break. Time to win back some old fans and make some new ones. Choose a killer ensemble, and sing your lungs out, even only with this one performance. Make 2017 your year and kick off 2018 in a major way. And I think "Hero" is always loved by most of the people and the lambs as a classic MC song. Maybe she surprises with another song, I'm so proud of her that she's doing it again. Setlist (80,036) by Tyler from USA I still can't even know what to say. My emotions are all over the place with the NYE news. This has to be a perfect performance with attitude and live vocals. I always think "It's like that" is always a great opener. The "I came to have a party opener and leaving it all behind" is perfect. Next she should bring Jay-Z our for Heartbreaker. Can you imagine the hype? Lastly, she should do a uplifting gospel moment. I think Make It Happen would be epic with a choir. Also I heard Mariah is bringing an entire team so she doesn't have to rely on DCP. So far the amount of good press Mariah has received in the last few weeks including getting her song nominated is way more than what she received in the past 3 years. I believe 2018 Mariah will come back snatching wigs because with Mariah's artistry and Jay's businessman skills, chances of things going wrong are very low. (Saturday 23 December 2017; 16:33)

She looks and sounds amazing and I think she's going to deliver an amazing live performance. I wasn't planning on watching but it's now must see tv. If she comes out to do the same old songs with pre record then so be it, I hope it at least goes smoothly this time. However, Mariah and her team will know all eyes will be on her performance given the disaster of last year, so she has the opportunity to perform live in fine voice, change up some arrangements to suit her voice, hell, use the publicity and ratings to even drop a new tune out of nowhere.
