Re: Do You Think of Me (77,353) (77,358) by MusicfanJ from Germany What a beautiful song. It's one of my favorites. I just love the way Mariah is singing it. You can really hear her sensual longing. When I discovered the song, I couldn't understand why it's just on a b-side. I love all her b-side songs. They are better than some released singles. "Do you think of me" is pure Mariah. When she as I would put it, gets into "Mariah Carey" mode. Even when she was perceived a has been (Charmbracelet era). So we're basically saying the same thing kinda. She doesn't have any studio album out yet so why should she be in full promo mode? Heck it's not even "Butterfly" anniversary time yet. So far since 2014 it's been one successful venture, though not new music related after another. The Beacon Christmas shows, the recently concluded Vegas shows(which ran for two years), the very successful 2016 European tour, Mac cosmetics (the most successful ever), the Dubai shows earlier this year, the trip to Isreal for Premier cosmetics, the Launch of her own label, etc. Is this your definition of a career being in a mess? I'm sure because it matches completely with the videos of her from that angle. Now one thing is true is that the angle indeed was bad, because it's taken from below and the side, but what makes it look bad is her outfit choice. Any other flattering outfit would have done a lot of good. I just shared a photo and she looks really good there, because she's wearing flattering clothes. Her weight isn't the issue, the issue is she doesn't have a good team who'll tell her what works and what doesn't. She needs Andre Leon to really give her the truth. VOL: first 2015 vs. last 2017 Vegas show (77,345) by 123 from USA Her Vegas shows really did help her regain some of her voice by forcing at least some effort in discipline like sleeping and avoiding alcohol. I wish this song would have been included on the Music Box album, but I get why it wasn't. The song is extra sensual and it would not have fit with the other songs on the album. Comeback (77,334) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines As someone who also entertains crazy, implausible ideas from time to time, I'm not completely shooting this one down, but are we really supposed to believe that all of this bullcrap that has been going on over the last 3 years has been part of some elaborate plan to stage Mariah's comeback? This period has professionally been the worst throughout her entire career and as much as I would like to think that this mess has been a deliberate effort by her team for Mariah to have something to come back from, I really don't think Stella is that smart. Highly unlikely. Way too much damage has been done and Mariah has lost probably at least half of her core fanbase in the process. So far Stella's biggest accomplishment as a manager is that she was able to somehow convince Mariah to become one of the things she has once hated - a reality star. And not even the good, entertaining kind. So I guess I should take back what I just said and admit that Stella may be smart after all. *shudders* (Thursday 20 July 2017; 23:41)
