Lee (76,084) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
You took my post out of context. My point was if anyone feels the need to come to this message board just to ridicule and talk what you do not respect or like about MC anymore, it could be possible you have outgrown her and it's time to move on and that was myself included. I respect constructive criticism and I don't mind expressing frustrations but at times some of us come to this message board just to nitpick everything Mariah does or says. On another note I definitely don't mind someone disagreeing with my opinion. With that there said no hard feelings, and if I offended you I apologize.

You mean actually do some real work and be productive instead of messing around doing crap that no one cares about? Are you for real? Mariah has had unbridled success since Stella came in.

Those things are too much like right, remember. Lol. Stella got detained by Putin and has been blocked from doing her world class management of the world's best diva.

Gee, I have no problem with you either. My point was telling someone to go away just because you do not agree with their opinion (whether it's mine or someone else's) is a very Donald Trump like thing to do. What I got from your post was: if you don't think like I do, you're wrong and shouldn't even be here.

Yeah I saw the picture. Read a few hash tags then I moved it along. I knew they weren't promoting a single. Lol.

That was click bait haha, no update on the single but they got together to promote whiskey.

How about they stop feeding the tabloids this mess and they promote that tour. Seems like that's more important. Maybe it's just me. *shrugs*

Mariah speaks to Janet, Britney, Celine about NYE (76,077) by 123 from USA
This is hilarious. Why do I get the feeling Mariah might actually act this way behind closed doors lol.

Mariah Carey interview (parody) (76,076) by 123 from USA
If Mariah actually answered some questions this way I would love it. If you are going to do a reality series you might as well make it entertaining. "We had some off key moments but I lipped synched."

I bet Shawn is not going to explain why she's still wearing James ring and necklace while hitting paparazzi hot spots with Tanaka.

Re: 49 cents (76,055) (76,073) by 123 from USA
Many people have tried to discredit her #1s by saying she only has the amount she does because of discounted single prices. If this was the case, Mariah would have a lot more number ones as we all know that not all her singles reached the top spot. Billboard also went on record defending Mariah's record saying there was no foul play and if there was that Mariah would have had a lot more number 1s. People also forget that Mariah was with Virgin, not Columbia when Loverboy was discounted so that is proof that all record companies follow this strategy.

Lol just ignore it. They love to debunk stuff no one ever heard about. Where are oompa Shawn and loompa Stella anyway?

Oh boy. I'd like to ask Shawn now, about the bull crap he was talking about few days back about MC and Tanaka "not breaking up" ever. This whole thing is bogus to begin with, but Shawn was out there talking big so he needs to shut up. Also this quote is directly from Oompa Loompa. Because no one else cares about this story.

Re: One Love Manchester, no MC after attacks Brussels (76,054) (76,070) by Will from England
The only difference here is that Ariana/her concert was specifically targeted and it was the people from her concert killed. Not to take away the horrors of the Brussels bombings or the lives that were lost, but Mariah/her concert/lambs was/were not directly involved. Plus Ariana's team, by comparison, is far more professional at getting things done and getting them done quickly and right, unlike Mariah's team, who for lack of a better word: can't. Something on that sort of scale would be far beyond Stella's capabilities and if she (Stella) had tried to set something like One Love Manchester up, she (Stella) would have called out all the artists who didn't sign up, because that's what she does. She wouldn't have seen it as "profitable".

Re: Celine Dion performance (76,062) (76,069) by Bill from the UK
I've never really paid much attention to Celine Dion. I know a lot here are fans of hers, but personally I've always found her a bit bland. However, I do of course acknowledge and appreciate that she is a very gifted and intelligent singer. That said, the Billboard performance struck me as odd, if only because it sounded like she was singing with cotton wool in her mouth until the final chorus kicked in.

Re: Celine Dion performance (76,062) (76,068) by Stacey from USA
Celine lip syncs all the time. I think we all can agree on that. The thing is Celine uses technology to her advantage so well that the average ear can't tell the difference. Her use of prerecorded vocals/backing tracks is perfect. I would also add Celine's team is on top of things so performances go off without too many problems.

Celine Dion at Billboard 2007 (76,067) by Edward from USA
I finally got to see Celine Dion perform "My Heart Will Go On" at Billboard, and it was a beautiful performance. She sung MHWGO in a lower key, but the woman definitely has such confidence that reminds me of Whitney Houston in her glory days. I think she used some pre-recorded track for part of the climax, but the blending was perfect. Had she used the vocals from the CD, it would've been noticeable. The respect people in the audience showed was almost palpable. I wish Mariah would give a performance like this sometime soon. But everything would have to be on point, from the prodcution, dress, voice, confidence to the lipping. I don't see why some people hate on Celine as if by hating on her Mariah would be doing better or something. I'm actually glad we still have Celine around, she doesn't sing like she used to, but she makes the best of what he has.

Re: MTV Unplugged article (76,045) (76,066) by MusicfanJ from Germany
"Critics praised her charisma and the way she interacted with her audience. So yes: Mariah had long since established herself as a singer, but MTV Unplugged cemented her as a pop star." That's so true. She showed everybody that she's not only a studio-singer. The version of "Can't let go" is so good, love her warm tones there and I even love her speaking voice so much. She sounded so sweet and humble. 22-year old Mariah was showing the world that she only had begun to reign the charts.

Re: Manchester events (76,047) (76,065) by MusicfanJ from Germany
It's good that the celebtity's are donating all the money. The music was not my taste and I still don't like Ariana as an artist. I think she's a typical "Disney star" like Miley Cyrus but I'm sorry for this girl that she's experienced such a horrible thing. And of course I have a lot of respect that she was doing this concert. To blame Mariah that she wasn't there, I think it's not fair. I remember the tribute concert for 9/11 and Mariah did a great job, all the singers were great back then. When I listen to "Never too far" I always think of the beautiful Hero medley she did. Goosebumps moments. Music is really a sign for peace and hope even in the darkest hours.

Re: Celine Dion performance (76,056) (76,064) by Edward from USA
Mariah should get on RuPaul's "Lipsynch for Your Life" class. RuPaul's Celine's coach. That's why she's that good at lipping. Thank God Mariah is not covering her face with her arms every time a lipping part is about to happen, and she doesn't spin like a spinning wheel either anymore, that would give her up every time. Those days of dubbing are gone for her, that's why she's usually exposed, not that she didn't do it in the past.

She didn't lip the beginning and she dodged every high note and avoided every chest thumping vocal run.

I didn't have a Tower Records in the town I grew up in. We had the Record Store. It sold Mariah's singles for outrageous prices because they knew we'd buy them regardless. I'm just glad she always included B-sides and remixes so her fans weren't cheated.

Since Memoirs Mariah's songs have required more than one listen to make a lasting impression with the exception of #Beautiful.
