Dear mr Martyn (75,667)
by Gabe from USA

|
|
On behalf of the lambily and everyone else , I want to say how angry we are and it's so sad and unfair that life can be this way. Some of us did not know you personally but it is still something that's gonna ache in our hearts until we heal. I am truly sorry for this. We are truly sorry. May you and the other victims be at peace in God's glory and in the meantime we will do what we can down here to make sure justice is served. There will not be a single moment from now on where you will not be on anyone's mind. Please say hello to the other music legends up there with you and don't forget about us here. With all the respect and condolences. - Gabe. PS I will be donating part of my weekly tips to help your family and the other victims from this. A little bit goes along way.

Martyn you will be missed (75,664)

I was praying and praying for Martyn's safety and am so saddened by the news today. I know how excited he was in coming to the United States and this is all so sad and tragic. I feel like I lost someone I knew beyond a messageboard. He was one of our MCA family. I will miss his posts and how he and I other than MC appreciated other similar artists along with George Michael. Martyn, as George and Mariah both sang, "You Have Been Loved", "Til The End Of Time" my friend. *feeling heartbroken*

God bless Martyn and his family. I did not know him personally, but I had interactions with him on this messageboard in many a year gone by. He always seemed like a lovely, respectful person. May he rest in peace. He seemed to touch so many people, even those he had not met. A testiment to how much of a wonderful person he was.

I just read the news and saw his picture in the list of deceased. I couldn't believe it. I'm so sad. What awful news, I was hoping he lost his phone and was disoriented or something. Can't say anything, devastating for his family and friends. How sad a lamb is gone.

Even though I don't know the guy, and our communication was limited to agreeing on certain topics, I can't help but feel completely heartbroken. I was googling his name today in hope I stumbled across a "confirmed alive in hospital" type post. I'm heading the UK next week and was considering cancelling, but I refuse to let this sort of horror dictate our lives. If his family for some reason stumble across this site, please know that you're in our thoughts, and the entire world is with you right now.

This is so sad and heartbreaking. I remember last Christmas 2015 he posted a sing along AIWFCIY video which he directed, it put a smile on my face. I wish Mariah's management see this and pays tribute to him or something. We will miss you Martyn, from the bottom of my heart.

I did not know Martyn personally but his passing is very sad nonetheless. Someone evoked the idea of not posting for a few days out of respect for Martyn. I think it's a good idea. Sure, life goes on, but it's also okay to take some time to reflect and to pay attention to what really matters. Life, love, peace.

Sad to hear that we lost a beloved member of our Archives family. To all those that knew and loved Martyn in time may you find peace and light knowing that Martyn is in heavens with God and is now an angel that watches and protects you from above. Rest in heavenly peace Martyn as you will be missed, and forever in the hearts of those you touched and loved.

I can't believe it. What a tragedy. As Edward said, I read the post about his plans about the American trip a few days ago. And I thought how cool that he is doing this. And then the sad news. I didn't know him personally but he seemed such a nice and beautiful person. I'm so shocked too.
