BET Awards (76,604) by Randy from USA I heard a rumor on one of my FB groups that MC is being honored this year and Tamar Braxton is singing a tribute to her. I cannot find anything online that confirms this although Tamar Braxton is a performer. Mariah is currently prancing around Europe for no reason and isn't in the best of shape so I'm really wary of this. Have you guys heard anything? (Saturday 24 June 2017; 13:44)

I mean over the 2 years, Mariah has gotten a lot of comments from fans calling out Stella, and expressing their disappointment over some of Mariah's moves and all but I feel like Mariah has completely detached herself from social media, which is probably good for her health since it's not cute to wake up and see all the rude comments from idiots calling her fat and judging her looks every day. However it detaches her from the world too because now whatever she hears is the filtered version. I'm not even going to entertain the whole "Mariah is a smart woman, she wouldn't be fooled by anyone". I'm not calling Mariah stupid, she's far from that, she's a brilliant artist but she's also a vulnerable person who has this habit of falling into friendships with people who take advantage and this wouldn't be the first intelligent person to be manipulated. Maybe she thinks she's coming off a "rebel, a Rihanna I don't care attitude", but in reality it's looking like a mess. Mariah's whole image was set on class and elegance previously. I'm not taking the blame off Mariah, she is responsible too, but when someone is in a vulnerable state, like she was in 2014, it's easier for people to give them a "false sense of security" and manipulate them. Monroe (76,600) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter This picture of Monroe is just stunning. She's such a beauty and looks like a young Mariah. I love that she even has Mariah's husky voice. In a few years Monroe will have the music industry "shook", the rightful "next Mariah" will be taking the throne. Side note Rocky is a cutie too. Beautiful children and I really admire that Mariah always dresses them up in normal kids clothes, I mean obviously they are still designer labels but at least they are not walked around in leather pants and fur coats and all unlike poor North West, who is also another cutie but poor girl is basically already being trained to continue the Kardashian Jenner fashion. My question is how can we make it known to her? How many of us are willing to post on her Facebook, instagram, twitter the raw truth? I feel like if enough lambs flooded her social media, relentlessly, with some truth it would force her to address somethings, at best. Once E., Shaderoom, Wendy, etc see it they will expose it to the masses which will then make Mariah take notice. I don't think the lambs will though, look at how many were praising her for that recycled, overpriced Pride merchandise. I just got a U.K. Love Takes Time 12" vinyl in the mail today and that made me smile. I find collecting keeps me connected to who she used to be or who I want her to be. Anyone else collect hardcore? Surprised but not shocked that the comments on Bossip were playfully defending her with comments like: "He looks like a p***. He is rumored to be a diva as well. Guess he couldn't have someone out doing him. Shame." So they hired Mariah Carey to play Mariah Carey in the movie. But then are shocked when she acts like Mariah Carey - a diva? Publicity stunt for another Will Ferrell flop. "The "Darling" part sounds like her. Maybe they should have run it past her first. If she says she wouldn't do it that way, and she is playing her self... well. "Darling I would never do it that way." Is borderline abusive? C'mon man you're taking it too far. Plus, you know she has a diva attitude. Huh what did you expect? And finally a comment from a person that claims they worked with her. Exactly. This nobody needs to take a seat. I've worked with Mariah and that's how she talks. I have never seen her be abusive to anyone. Yes she is a diva. Yes everyone knows that. But a diva in a playful, fairyland way. The way she comes off in interviews, not in a raging, screaming lunatic way. And yes, if you change the script that she agreed to show up and do, while she's on the way (regardless of whether she's late or not) she's going to tell you (in her own way) she's not doing it. I always thought the song's vocals were subtly arranged. This version let the vocals shine even more. It's interesting to notice Stargate (still a young production team back then) was involved with the project. In France many radios played the remix with Nas. I remember being surprised by that because even pop radio stations at the time played it which back in 2000 was quite rare. Mariah really is a musical trend setter. (Saturday 24 June 2017; 04:05)
