Re: Mimi's hair (77,726) (77,732) by Shezz from Pk
She usually wears her wigs and/or extensions during her shows. You can see her natural (much better looking) hair when she's spotted out with Tanaka and the clan. How else would you think her hair would change lengths drastically every few days? Mimi L. please show us a before and after hair scenario from recent pics.

I think this is the song that will end One Sweet Day's 21-year reign.

I think she's wearing (using, lol) extensions. I said she was using hair extensions.
hair extension
noun; a synthetic swatch of hair that is attached to make a longer, fuller, or different hairstyle

I now love him. He's such a cool guy. Everyone better get on board. Or I'll stop the planet and you can get off. Ageism or sexism or racism should not prevail here. Sound as a pound, guv. Ain't no mistake.

Okay so like let me be like American or whatever: all this crap hair I've seen Mariah sporting... it's fake? Her real gorgeous hair is hidden under it? Like, am I in a daydream? Why would anyone with a modicum of sanity do this?

Re: Miguel (77,714) (77,723) by B from USA
I knew. #Beautiful was successful because Mariah and Miguel work. The song is a classic Carey song. It sounds like it could have been written during the Daydream era. More importantly despite not taking the lead until a minute and a half into the song when she does she owns it. I love when she sings makes me feel undressable. She can do it again. All she has to do to update her signature sound is work with new writers and producers while staying true to how she is lyrically. I hope and pray she works with Miguel and Happy Perez on several of the songs on her new album. Miguel knows how to steer her in the right direction. #Beautiful deserved to be her 19th #1 and the song of the summer.

Battle of the cougars (77,722) by Edward from USA
If there's a woman deserving of not only one, but two or three young, loving, athletic, bouncing, not-let-the-cougar-rest all night cougarees, that's Celine Dion. The woman dedicated her whole life to only one great man and now sadly he's gone. She can still give any cougaree a run for his money. She's in shape, her ability to do the things I saw her do with her body in concert would make any cougaree salivate. She's a decent woman, in shape, a contortionist, the perfect teacher for a cougaree to learn and appreciate a great woman. Good for Celine. Yes, it was kind of shocking seeing Celine twist her body like that, but then I applaud her for doing something different. I just wouldn't like to see her acting like a teenager though, but other than that, the woman can have lots of fun. Whomever she's cougaring with is definitely making her glow, just like when Nick made Mariah glow like a chandelier.

Lol. I don't know why they were mad, but just generally shady fans or haters. It's just a myth that fans only drag Mariah. I had no idea Celine puts on such a sexed up show though. I'm pretty sure that she and Pepe are just employer/employee/friends, bug we know how these things escalate in the media and the minds of fans and on reality shows etc. etc. If Celine pumps out a docuseries, well.

Pepe, aka Ellen in mom jeans, is no beef cake, but that's Celine's stunt. His real name is Pepe.

Country spin (77,717) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
So after Mariah posted a picture on her Instagram wearing a cowboy hat before her Dallas show, her fans, creative as ever, gave her song lyrics a country spin. Check out these clever lyrics changes. I was laughing throughout.

Oh Celine. I just saw the "sexy" pics and I really had to laugh. But hey, I think she needs to experience a bit. With the dancer, I wish her a good time. The lost of her old husband must have been very painful. So I hope she's enjoying the time now. But please no more half naked pics of Celine.

I miss her more natural hair too. Her hair during "Daydream", "Butterfly", "Rainbow" and "EMC2" [was] always so beautiful. And I love her curls [in] the early nineties. Now it's too long, too blond and unnatural. But Mariah's natural hair is so beautiful, I hope she leaves the trend of extensions and co. more often in the future.

Miguel (77,714) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Did you guys know that Miguel's biggest solo hit Adore still did not out perform #Beautiful on the Billboard Hot 100? Both songs were top 20 hits with Adorn peaking at #17 while #Beautiful peaked at #15 and both songs have been certified double platinum. While Beautiful updated MC's sound a little bit Miguel also benefited from working with MC by scoring his biggest charting single on the Hot 100 to date with Beautiful.

At this point Mariah is a big brand whether we want to admit or not. We have to also remember that she is very few left of a dying breed. The big diva pop star alongside Celine, and Madonna. We must also remember that no matter what direction she decided to go into musically at this point radio is going to give her a hard time because the music industry is about youth that is why every few years a new female artist comes that sounds in anyway similar to MC they are so quick to call said female artist the new or next MC. I want MC to experiment with this new album but not so much where she loses her core fan base. I just need for her to become comfortable and confident within herself again and work with people who challenge her to push her pen again and work with different producers who understand Mariah without trying to make her sound like someone else.

Re: Mimi's hair (77,710) (77,712) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
A lot of times, yes. But it's not just Mariah, almost all celebs are out and about in wigs nowadays. That doesn't mean their natural hair is gone, it's just easier to put on a wig than style your hair everyday and damage it.

Re: Comeback (77,709) (77,711) by TJ from Norway
I thought 2001 was her low point. A really good album, but it didn't sell. I know that 9/11 was the release date, but I guess the movie destroyed her sales number. She's not an actress, or a dancer so I wish she try to reconnect with the music and fans. It's been off for almost 10 years. She needs to be innovative this time and not try to make another "We belong together" or slow RnB song. Some of you might think that her commercial brand isn't that important, but it is. What kind of record company like to keep a really expensive artist if the artist fails bringing the money.

I'm likely going to sound really dense here but a wig? Mariah wears wigs? Is this actually a thing?

Comeback (77,709) by Tameka walker from United states
The reviews from Billboard have been positive. I strongly believe that if any one can have a comeback it's Mariah Carey. There's been so many times when people said that she was over, then she proved them wrong. For example look at 2001, nobody expected her to have a comeback but she did. Back then people said she was crazy and it would take a miracle for her to come back on top. Back then it was hard to be a fan because it seems everyone hated her. But I stayed strong and was a devoted lamb. I love Mariah Carey because of her talent. Until this day the best vocalists out there is Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey. I love those two faithfully. I love Mariah a little more because she is a phenomenal prolific songwriter and singer together. With that type of talent you can't go wrong.

Mimi's hair (77,708) by Mara from United States
I really miss Mariah's real hair lately. I see a lot of comparisons to TEOM era but I don't know. It just seems too long right now and it seems the color is too brassy or like a bad bleach job at the bottom. The top seems too far back and gives a higher forehead appearance. Not quite sure what's going on with that. Maybe she wants it longer for her own personal reasons right now, but maybe a little toner on it or a better fitting wig. Just miss Mariah's natural beautiful hair and have been for a while. Ok, rant over.
