How is she going to release an album in 2017? All she does is hop from restaurant to restaurant.

Stella (74,997)
by Butterfly from

Look at the latest TMZ article. I never seen a manager use a client so bad in front of the world. This makes Mariah look so stupid. Stella and Mishka plan is very clear. They want to be like Kris Jenner and her daughters. They don't give a shit about Mariah or her career. Someone stop the witch.

I would pick MIAM over Emotions, anytime, anyday, anywhere. Emotions is bland, dark and disturbing and full of fillers ("And you don't remember", "So Blessed", "You're So Cold", "If it's Over", "To Be Around You") it's just too formulaic and the ballads except for "Till the end of time" and "Can't Let Go" are quite forgettable. Heck the album even has just only 10 songs. What carries the album are her flawless vocals and layering. The only filler on Me. I Am Mariah, is that horrendous "Money" song with Fabolous.

That breakdown on Till the End of Time where she sings "Tell me what you need, let me give you all of me 'cause without you nothing's real, you're the reason that I feel, ohhhhh tell me what you need, let me give you everything, every moment I'm alive until the end of time" is everything. Mariah had a moment and I have a moment every time I hear it. Lol.

Mariah should work with Robert Clivillés on her new album. She should also work with David Morales.

I heard it for the first time in years after my grandfather passed away (he also died from cancer) and it made me cry. Sunflowers, My Saving Grace, and The One, and Lullaby are the best songs on Charmbracelet.

She announced she was working on an album when she began her Vegas residency and then again last year when talking to Billboard and yet while promoting I Don't she said she was going to focus on releasing singles because albums aren't selling at the moment. Mariah should name her next album The Confusion of Mariah. Or The Contradiction of Mariah. Stella is the worst manager ever. She's the female version of Howard K. Stern, Anna Nicole 's lawyer/lover/manager. Has Stella taken on those other roles in Mariah's life as well? It's the only thing that explains Mariah giving Stella free reign to do and say whatever she wants. I hope Mariah starts keeping her private life private like she used to. Sharing pictures of the twins is one thing but going public with every relationship since her divorce needs to stop.

I Don't (74,990)
by B from USA

I Don't has almost 18 million views and You're Mine (Eternal) is nearing 10. Guess her antics isn't stopping people from listening to her music and/or watching her music videos. I think sometimes we're a little too hard on Mariah. I think she deserves a free pass for the limited promo she did for her last studio album due to what was going on in her personal life. The last song the public remembers from Mariah is #Beautiful which is actually a good thing.

Mariah and her managers, BS: Before Stella, refused to even acknowledge tabloid rumors. I grow more and more concerned about what's really happening behind the scenes everyday. Stella is a messy reality tv producer not a manager. Why wasn't she making appearances on Tiny and TI or Tiny's spinoff? Everything the blushtastic one makes is unprofessional.

MIAM is a solid album, no doubt, but it has more filler songs than Emotions. There are shining moments in MIAM, like Cry, Faded, Meteorite, Make It Look Good, YDKWTD and others but Emotions is a more consistent album. MIAM also didn't quite reach the heights Emotions reached (The Wind is pure genius). Different opinions, I guess, but I don't see the resemblance between MIAM and Emotions.

New album (74,987)
by Dav from Ireland
| |
|
|
Looks like this new album is coming sooner rather than later. Which feels a little strange. Normally we know for years a new album is in the works. Mariah seems a little lack luster regarding it. And only a few months ago was saying that she's not into making an album, sticking with singles. I'm hopeful for this new era, but it feels off, already. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Article: Mariah Carey not having "midlife crisis" (74,986)
by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter

Since the rep said Mariah is at "the top of her game", it's confirmed to be Stella. Must have taken her a whole week to come up with something to replace "unbridled success". I don't get why they are responding to these tabloids. Like the main business of tabloids comes out of sensationalizing things, why would they even bother responding, unless Stella wants these stories highlighted somehow. If someone tells me now that Stella has been sent to go undercover and ruin Mariah's reputation by leaking stories, I'd believe them.

Next week, the Mariah Carey remake of To Be Around You from Emotions will be released. According to this news story, the album by Lovari will be released on May 12th. Hopefully it will be released as a single, but if not, we can always stream it on Spotify to gather some promo for MC and the original version.

I agree Sunflowers is a beautiful song. After that first listen though I just could never convince myself to listen to it again. I can't explain why. I don't know what stops me from listening to this song.

Emotions, Till the End of Time (74,982)
by Stacey from USA

I know it's often hard if not impossible to name a favorite this or that when it comes to Marian's songs. But, all this talk about the Emotions LP got me thinking about Till the End of Time. Daydream as a whole is my tops album. Always will be. But, I think if I had to pick a favorite ballad, Till the End of Time is it. The song has such a hauntingly beautiful feel to it, something so different than her typical ballads we hear. Magical.

"Emotions" is positively nothing like "Me. I am Mariah. The Verbose Chanteuse". Nothing. [censored] France, you live on another planet. Planet France? Is that near Betelgeuse? Andromeda? Come visit Earth. It's nice here. 'Cept for all the religious wars and crazy lambs and stuff.

Alanis Morissette's ex manager jailed (74,980)
by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands

A business manager who stole more than $7 million from Alanis Morissette and others has been sentenced to six years in federal prison and ordered to pay $8.6 million in restitution. I wonder if this could happen to Mariah and that one day a news article on this website reads: "Mariah Carey's ex manager jailed". I know some fans are living for that day.

I agree. Until either claims the other in a romantic way or someone manages to catch them slipping, I'm not worried. Nick has said that he even sleeps over at M's house to be with the kids. They obviously spend a lot more time together then what anyone would've thought and have a high comfortability level with one another. I still think it's just now being highlighted because Stella and Mariah need a new angle.

I hope not, but she didn't seem that opposed to the idea, she just wouldn't commit to an answer to Kevin. I love the part where she said Roc and Roe are so smart. They are getting too old to be played with, they also seem like they speak their minds. I hope both parents are keeping that in mind. I'm sure they really need a sense of stability going forward. Did you see the snapshots Nick posted of all of his kids? So adorable, supposedly they were taken by Roc and Roe. They seem to be bonding well with the baby too.

If nothing else, I think they have learned to keep it positive with the ex even if only for the kid's sake. They are so far, keeping it at friend level, thinking long term and short term for their kid's sake. I can't see that ending weather they re marry or not. Besides, Stellar always has her overblown tabloid leaks floating around, what matters is what M. actually says, or even Nick at this point. At least Mariah seems more natural, cogent and her usual humorous self in that ET interview. Maybe now they will quiet down at least until Mother's day. Lol.

What? Sunflowers For Alfred Roy is such a gorgeous song. When I first listened to CB, I wasn't listening to it properly (skipping left and right) and I threw Sunflowers into the "skip" area. But then I listened to CB in its entirety and realized how beautiful the song is. I put it in the same group as Petals, Languishing, Rainbow interlude, etc. I love the song so much.

I don't think there will be a season 2. When she was asked about it, her expression made it very clear that she isn't here for it. But I rolled over laughing when she said "there were a lot of real moments" and they showed the clip of the spectacularly lit (with multiple lights from each angle) and possibly the most staged moment of the whole show, which is the "Gazebo scene" where Bryan tells Mariah about his feelings and they dance haha. That scene is so staged, I cannot deal, everything from the big lights, the camera angles, the dance. I mean come on now.

I wonder how this will end. Ever since Stella came, she has been making up one fake relationship story after another and we all know how each ended. James and Mariah's one ended with a nasty back and forth, where even if James only intended to use Mariah (if we are to believe Stella) it was overshadowed by the childish and aggressive quotes Stella released to tabloids calling him everything from mentally unstable to an abuser, which made people doubt team MC even more. Then a Bryan came along, with the strength to leech on. And then that ended in a nasty way too with him being called a user and fame seeker. So did Mariah even think that if this publicity stunt with Nick goes haywire, what the consequences of that will be? They have worked hard to maintain a good relationship with each other, they have kids together, if this ends in a nasty way there's a lot more at risk.
