MC vs MC (109,558) by Sascha from Germany
I love Miley's album. It is great. But EGYEL is not really contemporary. It‘s as throwback 90s as it can be.

TD is doing what its supposed to do (109,557) by Sascha from Germany
"Believe" is Chers biggest hit ever by a wide margin and put her back on the map globally. It made me a hardcore Cher fan in 1999 and introduced me to her discography which is very diverse anyway. She went from flower power to narrative Pop, from Disco to Rock to AC to Believe.

Mariah as an artist is very different because she hardly diverts from her main style. I would not want a David Guetta feature from her even if smashed.

Maybe save some songs for a potential MC16 deluxe version?

Thank you for the news, I appreciate it.

It would be great to have circa 14 songs but 12 is still ok. I hope the new single will be a bigger hit than Type Dangerous, which I love as well, but I think is was really more oriented towards us, the real fans who stuck around.

MC16 is done. MC16 will have 11-12 songs. There are Mariah ballads. The second single is coming soon. It is very summery and MC loves the beat. I am not complaining, but why just 11-12 songs? Is that an industry standard these days to increase the chances of individual songs streamed to increase album sales?

One Heart, One Voice (109,552) by Lambi from USA
That is funny. I pressed you on this before but you ran away and hibernated. Let me recap what you said, verbatim: "Mariah's voice being damaged beyond repair to the point that a number of us unprofessionals on this board can probably sing 'Hero' better than she can and with no lipping."

"A number of us" so you've appointed yourself a part of some imaginary choir of amateurs who can outsing one of the most technically revered vocalists in music history. Tremendously bold claim. Since you said this your chest, you at least must be a willing representative of the group to back it up, right?

So let's just hear it. Debunk my insinuation that you're out of touch. If you're confident enough to dismiss quite literally the greatest vocalist of all time, a quick vocal clip should be a walk in the park. Or are you just going to go on hibernation again?

TD is doing what its supposed to do (109,550) by jaker20 from US
It got a lot of attention, it charted, got a solid video, it fits right into her catalog. It's still rising on radio so it will out stream all her newer pops songs from the last 10 years.

Fans are always waiting for Mariah to turn out a Believe-moment. But honestly that song ruined Cher's discography. It is so disconnected from what she's done before it, and didn't help her catalog as a whole.

TD complements the rest of Mariah's recent work, and flows right with the rest of her classics. I think it's going to keep growing on streaming and in a few months, it will pass all her songs since #Beautiful. The song did what it had to do which is bring her back to the new era, even though its not an instant hit. Not a lot of her contemporaries can do the same on a solo song.

Miley's song isn't going to chart. Her latest album charted for a week and gone the next week. The lead single from it did only slightly better than TD. And she just had a massive song with Flowers. Not to mention of course that Miley is a relatively newer artist. So I don't think MC should be following Mileys footsteps.

MC vs MC (109,547) by Tijl from Belgium
Miley Cyrus just released het latest little effort: "Every Girl You've Ever Loved". And truly, this is the type of song Mariah should release if she wishes to skyrocket back to the top of the charts. Fresh, relevant, contemporary and relatable. Not to mention this video has a proper star in a cameo role. "Dangerous Type" [sic] is on my daily playlist as I am a loyal fan. Miley's song got me instantly. Quite the difference.

Thank you Lighty. Yes I know I've seen Lullaby Of Birdland in the leaked tracklisting in 2013. The reason why I knew that tracklisting is valid because there are several songs on that tracklisting that were actually on the album in 2014. So I'm just assuming maybe, maybe Mariah has a studio version for that song.

It must be his weekend splashes. Lol. We all want MC16 now. The world wants MC16 to be released now. Nostradamus posted on X that MC16 is coming soon after a double promo second single to enhance TD while L.A. Reid monitors the market for MC16's release date.

Three voices, one problem (109,541) by Lambi from USA
Yup, agreed. It definitely wasn't an organic collaboration. She just played the part of the singer, kind of like when they'd hand a song over to Celine. She probably had little to no interaction with him, just followed the demo's key as accurately as possible, and quickly paid her respects to Barbra.

Mariah stated herself that she never recorded LOB in the studio. While "The Art of Letting Go" was leaked as an upcoming album on some places like Walmart, it was just the name. There not any other leaks that mentioned LOB before she performed live.

Three voices, one problem (109,537) by Bobby A from United States
Most of the board members are really disappointed in the song. I am disappointed in it too after multiple listens. It grabbed at my heart on Friday, but today I find it boring. I believe MC16 is going to blow our minds. If the producers on Usher's Coming Home is our L.A. Reid blueprint, then we can be hopeful for production by Mel and Mus, Ghost-Kid, D'Mile, Jermaine Dupri, along with MC's usual go to "hot producers at the moment" strategy like Bizness Boi, Jack Antonoff, Jeff Gitelman, Julian Bunetta and London Da The Track. I am pretty sure Donald Lawrence produced the Clark Sisters duet. I know Anderson .Paak brought his A game on MC16. So, we should not be worried at all by what to expect on MC16. It is going to be bigger than Caution and MIAM for sure.

Mariah's unique tone and sound (109,534) by Xavier mariohmix from Spain
This is absolutely right. The most prominent thing about Mariah's voice is her versatility and musicality. She is so creative that several listens are needed so as to be able to appreciate all the nuances. That's why I always like her, but in this song specifically she sounds quite restrained. She could have given a bit more. I know her voice is not very powerful today in live performances, but I think it still is in the studio (at least).
