Re: Mariah's money (74,098) (74,099) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
People do like her, any one who has ever met her always go on and on about how she's such a sweetheart (strangers and fans, interviewers and all). Her friends, people who really care about her talk about how she's such a great friend and would do anything for her friends, so yes Mariah can have many friends without having to buy them like you said, I think the main problem here is that she needs "constant companionship" and she needs a "24/7 Yass Queen" entourage who'll praise her. It possibly comes from her childhood feelings of abandonment and not feeling special. So that's a big commitment and most people can't be expected to always surround her and shadow her everywhere, like Lee or JD or whatever, they have their own lives and careers and families and all. Heck even I don't meet my friends every day even though we live pretty close. So that's where these paid leeches get the entry. Anyways Mariah can do what she wants with her money but down the line if I hear a "The Bulochnikovs took advantage of me" interview, I'll be like "Girl, you brought it on yourself. Basically invited them to come leech off you." Haha.

Eek, she's multiplying lol. Yes. That's basically the biggest problem with the whole thing. It's even bigger than money because it seems like a case of low self-esteem. Any person should know that if you're a good person, which I think Mariah is, then there is someone out there who will like/love you, for you. You don't have to pay for friendship or love.

Re: Mariah's money (74,096) (74,097) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I'm not interested how Mariah spends her money. But I think it's very unhealthy to pay for false friends. Yesterday I saw a woman in Woolworth store who looked like Stella. Lol. The same leather-jacket, hair and of course the blush. Anyway I wish Mariah would spend quality time with true friends and beloved ones. I miss the time where her friends and people around her looked so down to earth and really nice.

Re: Mariah's money (74,095) (74,096) by Lila from United States
No one has said or alluded to the conclusion that Mariah shouldn't be friends with people who aren't rich. What's being suggested is that she make friends with people who have their own money, doesn't matter the amount, and lives that are not dependent on hers, who she can still call up and have a talk with or dinner with, and who care about her day and life even if she doesn't take them on vacations or buy them fancy stuff. That's the simplest solution. Another upside is that, a couple years down the road, we don't have to hear about her complaining, again, about who's taken advantage of her. Also, how is it "slumming" if Mariah goes on someone else's ride but not if you or the rest of these leeches, already doing so, go on Mariah's ride? I'm sure there's someone out there that would let her ride simply because she's Mariah Carey. James Packer, anyone? If it's "slumming" when Mariah does it to someone else, it's slumming when others do it to her. Mariah can and will do what she wants but I'm still going to call it like I see it, regardless. So, I have no problem acknowledging the fact that she gives people the keys to take advantage of her but at the end of the day they are still taking advantage of her.

Mariah's money (74,095) by Andrew from UK
Given that most of us will inevitably make our friends in life out of the people we meet in various jobs along the way, Mariah will do the same. She's incredibly wealthy and a globally-renowned celebrity. Is she supposed to somehow hang out with other multi-millionaires in a multi-millionaires' club that meets in secret? If she meets people she likes who aren't rich should she not be friends with them? If the simplest solution is often the right one, fair it is to say that it is far simpler (and a lot more fun) for Mariah to take people along with her on her ride than for her to disembark and go slum it on other people's. As long as they're not idiots in return, like Dick Cannon, then who cares? It's her money. Sometimes I'm not particularly thrilled with how she makes it, but it's hers, nevertheless. And I'm sure she doesn't need anyone worrying about who she spends it on. And if she wants to take me to Capri, I'll kiss her ass and fan her face faster than you can say "f*ck you, Andrew" (by which time I will have thrown Stella in the ocean and be sipping sangria, singing "X-Girlfriend" at the top of my lungs to drown out her pleas of rescue: "She's not yours anymore don't you know, you gotta let her go, let her go, let her go.")

Celine and Zendaya (74,093) by Malcolm from Asia
Can Mariah be inviting and friendly like this with other female entertainers? I'm just in awe how Celine is aging gracefully, she's full of elegance and grace. This kind of gig is what Mariah should be doing and not that Mariah's World trash, watching clips like this from her colleagues makes me mad at how Mariah is wasting her time from all of this bullshit. Ditch the antics and cheap people.

Correct. It's so crazy. She complains about people talking advantage of her but she constantly invites these kind of people into her life and gives them the right to do it.

Re: Article: Mariah's spends more money on boyfriend Bryan Tanaka (74,088) (74,091) by Lila from United States
If Mariah wasn't in need of money, we wouldn't have gotten Stella saying, on Mariah's World, that Mariah hired her to make her money nor would Mariah have had to do endorsements for businesses such as Match.com. Her being Mariah Carey, whatever the heck that's supposed to mean, has nothing to do with it. Money doesn't grow on trees and plenty of people will lots of money, millions, have gone broke. It's not a phenomenon and Mariah's not impervious. Personally, I think she should enjoy her money, I think everyone in the world should be able to enjoy their own money, but she shouldn't be dumb. These lifestyles are expensive and it's very easy to spend it all. It's a simple equation of spending more than what you make. And not that I believe that Mariah is in any way dating Bryan, but I'll reiterate again, the man doesn't have much money and hasn't worked in months. Of course we haven't seen him leave Mariah for anyone, no matter the age, and he's not going to because Mariah foots the bills for his life. I'm certainly not going to pretend that if it weren't for her status and money, he would stick around and be her dumbass partner in crime.

Re: The Art of Letting Go (74,064) (74,090) by darrian liu from taiwan
Tbh if Mariah wants to, she can just re-release YDKWTD. The song is that timeless. It won't sound dated at all. The song sounds fresh, it gets people going, and if we wanna follow the Stella plan, it can serve as a perfect soundtrack for the Manaka breakup ala I Don't, only a million times better (nobody here seriously thinks they're for real right?). Go shoot an amazing, fun video that looks classy, do good performances and promote the hell out of it. The song screams "top 10 hit" to me, just like All My Life and Ribbon. Come to think of it, she could probably release Ribbon now and get a decent hit out of it, just do a little tweaking here and there to make it sound more current (not that it sounds dated), and promote the song properly. Seriously. YDKWTD and Ribbon are a million times better than Infinity and I Don't.

Re: Article: Mariah's spends more money on boyfriend Bryan Tanaka (74,088) (74,089) by Licia from USA
It's about to be a million posts about it being her money and she can do what she wants. I actually agree. She earned it and she should enjoy it. If she wants to blow her fortune on herself and her children, she should. I just don't like the idea of anyone using her and I definitely don't enjoy the idea of her feeling she needs to spend her money to keep people around. Of course this could be a bullsh*t story, but I could see it happening.

If Mariah's having fun with hermoney then I say good for her. She doesn't need money, she's Mariah Carey. Oh and where the hell have we seen that he will leave her for someone younger? This is just another bull shit article, I don't believe it for a second.

So it's possible that there are other professional videos for her live performances. I'm glad she's doing this, she sounded great but can't deny there were some parts that was lipped.

Re: Article: Mariah's spends more money on boyfriend Bryan Tanaka (74,082) (74,084) by Licia from USA
This is the same stuff that everyone accused Nick of doing. Yeah she bought stuff for him as well and she definitely helped to upgrade him, but at least he had a little bit of his own before her and instead of trying to just be a house husband he used his upgraded status to get better jobs to bring money into the marriage. Looks like old Banaka is happily living the house boyfriend life. Lol Seriously though, if this article is true then Mariah needs to slow down. She shouldn't have to buy anyone's affection. If he really cares about her like they are trying to make us believe then she wouldn't have to do all this for him to stick around. I'm all for her having fun and enjoying life, but don't be reckless.

Article: Mariah's spends more money on boyfriend Bryan Tanaka (74,082) by Lila from United States
Celebrity Insider could've kept this article. No one with half a brain and a little common sense needed them, "insiders", or Einstein to tell us that a back up dancer without much money from the start, and who hasn't worked in months, isn't footing the bill for all the expensive clothing and shoes he's been rocking nor the cars, vacations, and million dollar house rentals. And just yesterday a few of us acknowledged how crazy it is for Mariah to be blowing money on all these hangers on and useless "employees" when she's obviously in need of money. Hopefully she gets it together.

That is accurate, it has also been reported that Tanaka is out of the picture as he said Stella is his ride or die homie. Information is weak at this point but rumor has it that Mariah threw a fit when she discovered Stella mixing stuff in her drink *cough love potion cough* and discovered her elaborate scheme to isolate Mariah so that Stella can then step in as Mariah's new life partner.
