Article: Mariah Carey's bad weekend record sales (72,341) by Mister Lux from USA There was nothing untrue about anything he said. Love Mariah, but lately her game is weak. She needs to get her head in the game. Lady Gaga may not have hit every note perfectly during the Super Bowl, but she put her soul into it and it was obvious. Mariah hasn't put her soul into anything for quite some time and it's overwhelmingly evident. I think Mariah has more than just an image problem at this point. She comes across as having an attitude and being completely unrelatable; beyond the "diva" caricature she's created. Couple that with uninspiring, petty songs and lip syncing during performances - for God's sake she doesn't even have to dance. Is it really a surprise her "I don't" didn't do well? Mariah has always been an artist first and foremost, her work speaks for herself. Now she has all these other things going around her. Not to say she can't venture out and pursue different projects. There's just a lot of silly tabloid fodder out there, some of them orchestrated by her own team, which just makes things look rather cheap. (Wednesday 8 February 2017; 1:10)

Yeah you're always in a headline and you have more messy followers, but that's not propelling you any further upwards. Your stock is going way down. It's making you look even more bad than you already looked in the general public's eyes. The most beautiful era (at least to me) (72,337) by Dennis from Miami, FL I've been watching and listening the Charmbracelet tour the whole day. She looked so beautiful, shiny, relaxed and happy during 2003-2004. Dresses were so classy. Her body was in shape. For me, she sounded better than Rainbow, Daydream or Butterfly eras. Charmbracelet songs sounded so much better life. She sang them in full voice. It was very contrasting to the Glitter era. She looked so jaded and disturbed, and sounded worse. Re: Weird era (72,327) (72,336) by Gigi from USA Definitely Mishka for me. At first, I thought it was a cute aunt/niece type of relationship. I know a lot of lambs were tired of seeing Mishka in every picture with MC, but it honestly didn't bother me. It only started bothering me when Mariah's Instagram started going downhill with all of the risque pictures being posted and it was revealed that then 12-year-old Mishka was the one taking them. As a mother, the thought of a child taking racy photos of an adult makes me cringe (especially the nude tub picture). Not even counting the endless times I've seen pictures of Mishka at bars, nightclubs, etc with Mariah hanging out like she's one of her adult best friends. After I saw the MW clip of Mariah saying she wanted to continue working with a 12-year-old on a professional level - I have to admit that my level of respect for Mariah plummeted. The weirdest thing for me was the boat trip/engagement with James Packer. Then MW and the instagram stuff posted by a teenager. I won't say anything about the dancer. MC copied Whitney and Aretha's runs (72,332) by JAXGH from United States Saw this post by Morgan. He posted a song by Christina and someone commented "ultimate betrayal" and that Aguilera, half the time sounds like MC, then he went on to argue that Mariah copied Whitney and Aretha's runs. What a shame. He truly isn't for Mariah. I know that conversation won't be viewed by anybody. But even in the smallest ways possible, he likes to make Mariah look bad and unfavored, to people he personally knows. I know artists emulate one another. That's a given. But he makes it sound like Mariah didn't create her own sound. I can argue that she's probably the most influential female singer of all time. Some of Mariah's inflections may have sounded like Whitney and Aretha's but she definitely has her own thing. When you hear her sing, you think Mariah. This is Mariah. You don't think of anybody else. But when you hear Christina and Ariana, you automatically already hear and think Mariah. The execution, the register of the voice, the runs, the feeling, are all styled like how would Mariah sing it. They literally mimic her. The truth is Mariah was inspired by Whitney and Aretha, but she worked her butt off on her range to its full extent, to produce sounds she can only make, while Christina literally just bites. Why would an A-list music legend hire a reality show producer with zero background of the music industry (which is Mariah's main profession) as her manager? I could understand if she took a liking to Stella and became friends with her or even give her a small role in her career, but to hire this woman as her manager and then allow her to basically surround Mariah's personal and professional life with only people from Stella's circle is the weirdest thing ever. Weird era (72,327) by Danny from Uk Does anyone else think the whole last 12 months of so have been a weird era? The whole James Packer "moment", tour, instagram pics, Tanaka, NYE and odd single releases and then Mariah's World. There have been some good moments like the tour etc but overall I've found it very weird but not in a good way if that makes sense. What's your weirdest moment from the era? The Beiver was having a great career resurgence at that time, but it was a lost opportunity because the song was garbage. It was so bad that it wasn't ever officially released, so we can pretend it never happened. Andy is a dear co-poster here who's very passionate about Mariah. He loves "Right to Dream" so much that I call it "Andy's Theme". I want to make clear that I don't have anything against rappers. I just think that if she's going to use one at this stage in your career, she should use great and well known ones. Let them give that push to your career that you used to give to to theirs, it's only fair. I wish for proper collabo with Drake, Ludacris, JZ, Little Wayne. Bring it big. She finally sees that people are happy then sad then over again. When she is finally no longer happy with this team, or when they fall away from her she will make changes. Since they are leeches, it will probably take a while. She does not seem to have learned how to go through these cycles with the same man or team though. Not unlike many of us in our daily lives, but she is just living hers in public. The manufacturing of facts though is distasteful and cause for alarm or concern to many. So far it's being decided if she is going to sing it on the Lionel's tour or what. I say she should go to Ellen and for once sing a song in a sketch on the show. The video will have longer legs because of the visuals. Article: Mariah Carey's bad weekend record sales (72,317) by JT from USA Listen, Roger What's-His-Name used to be friendly with Mariah and give her incredibly positive coverage. That's all changed, clearly because she's not kissing his a$$ anymore. The guy badmouths her every chance he gets and, while I'm not going to argue about "I Don't" because I don't care for it, he's acting like a petulant child over this, one who's trying to get even with someone who wouldn't play with him in the sandbox. On another note, his knowledge of the music industry is lacking and the articles he writes about the industry are embarrassing. And his site is a mess - he frequently writes stories that are mostly wrong and then contradicts them the next day in a different article, because, well, the guy is a mess. Finally, the site is riddled with typos and errors. Oh, and he refuses to post any reader comments that are negative or correct him - I've commented on his stories often and never once has he allowed one to go on the site. He used to have a pretty good career at Fox News until he was fired for doing something incredibly stupid and unethical - google it. All in all, I kind of feel sorry for him.
