Re: Butterfly's anniversary (63,280) (63,293) by Billy from Greece Bill, I love Tori Amos and I thought the repackaging of the first two albums was excellent. I don't see Mariah doing something like that, though. Though it is indeed twenty years since "Butterfly" (as unfathomable as that may sound to me) it still is not the time, I think. Not to mention that some albums should not be touched with rereleases, or deluxe versions or anything. Maybe too purist of an approach, but sometimes I lean on this. What I long for is a good boxset someday, down the line. Diana, Barbra and Aretha released their career-spanning retrospectives around their thirtieth year in the business (in the early 90s). Again, I think Mariah is not very fond of things like that for some reason. As long as she wants to be active and current, I don't see anniversary editions coming our way. State of mind (armchair psychology) (63,288) by Andrew from UK State of mind? It's perfectly clear to any armchair psychologist that Mariah has gone, what's the technical term? Oh, that's right, "wacko". Nobody needs a degree to spot behaviour that is out of the ordinary, manic behaviour, bi-polar extremes, self-harming, etc. I think it likely, in my armchair estimation, that Mariah is lost, as she was in 2000/01, in that nobody wants to buy her music, she's nowhere near as famous as she was and in general people don't like her. So she's going a bit "wacko". To deny it is a lot of nonsense. Nothing anyone can do about it. It is what it is. Her career and her life appear to be a giant mess. She isn't coming across as a respected, seasoned professional. She's embarrassing herself with silly social media posts, drunken behaviour, strange interviews, feuds, nipples. It's her perogative (63,285) by Shezz from Pk Mariah is clearly aware everytime the phone cams are on. If she wants to let loose for the world to see it's her perogative. I know that the lambs that are upset about those clips are only responding with Mariah's best interest at heart. I will agree with Mimi L. though that her instagram needs professional help. She said in a radio interview that she's developed a bond with Stella also being a single mother. I respect that. But social media needs a major overhaul. There are plenty of ways to empower your girls other than by making them incharge of Mariah's instagram. Also, lets not get on the "fragile" bandwagon please. Not yet. (Sunday 12 June 2016; 20:21)

My All live #1 to infinity 6-10-16 (63,284) by RJJ12 from USA Wow Mariah. She stuck her foot in this performance. She sounds so comfortable singing this song now. Her notes are so fluid. It's funny how her live notes on this song sound better then the pre-records. I say sing it all live now and make it another live center piece of the show. I cannot wait to hear how she sung the song last night. I guess if you are ever going to see Mariah perform, vocally, this would be a great year to do it. (Sunday 12 June 2016; 19:21)

Clips Vegas June 11th (63,283) by RJJ12 from USA She is sounding even better than the first night. I'm happy that she is at least re-focused on all aspects of her career (voice, image, promotion, new projects) and I'm glad she is getting back to recording new music. Looks like they listened to someone's suggestion and matched her ostrich feather coat with a body suit while singing Vision of Love. Here is IDWC. We've seen the pictures and heard the stories, it's just becoming more apparent since we are now seeing video of it. She loves the attention her snatched body gets. She loves being a tease. Wow Mariah, you do look good, where did you get that booty? Did you grow it or was it just a tasteful fat transfer procedure? Posting these private moments don't put her in the best light as it continues to perpetuate polarizing views about her. A more mature audience may call her a "drunken skank" like someone said previously, while the kids will think she is cool because she's sauced up, being flirtatious, serving body, playing old school music, showing off her diamonds, and eating pizza. It seems like she is trying to attract a much younger audience these days. I'm not judging as I can party just as hard, I just don't post any of the evidence for people to see, lol. Mariah is a brilliant songwriter and to see those cringeworthy mistakes on her account is embarrassing. Plus the emojis are just so embarrassing. No one uses those unless they are teens. Especially not on every photos. With all the money in the world Mariah can hire any professional and yet she hires a 13 year old who posts weird photos, unnecessary low quality photos (especially when the hi-resolution versions of those are readily available) and with cringeworthy captions and emojis. Mariah should just hire a dedicated fan to do this. And Stella send Mishka to school. (Sunday 12 June 2016; 18:07)

Butterfly's anniversary (63,280) by Bill from the UK Forgive me for digressing from the conversations about snapchat, Bryan, Stella, "Marian's" state of mind, scientology, Mishka and "mary", but I wanted to bring it back to the music briefly (shoot me). Butterfly's 20th anniversary hits next year, and now Mariah is back at Sony, and has acknowledged it is her personal favourite, I really hope she does something special to mark the occassion. I doubt many of you know/listen to/care about the artist Tori Amos, but she has been revisiting her back catalogue and has released deluxe versions of her earlier albums. All remastered and include a second disc of b-sides, remixes, live tracks and a revised booklet with commentary etc. What would you all like to see? I hope for the original record remastered, and the second disc to have the videos, the rare Butterfly/Mi Todo club mixes, and maybe a "making of" retrospective. Also a vinyl release would be fantastic like the red vinyl Merry Christmas. (Sunday 12 June 2016; 17:37)

Kelly Price (63,279) by Randy from USA I know this may sound petty but I have to call it like I see it. Kelly Price said last night in a documentary about her life: Mariah was a learning experience. She is masterful with what she can do in a studio. Kelly never said anything about MCs voice or her being a great singer. I never want MC to be known as a studio singer. To me a studio singer is someone who sounds awful live and great on wax. To me studio singers are Madonna, Kelly Rowland, Ciara, Mary J Blige and Britney Spears. I will say that Mariah sounded her best, not when she came out, but during that Daydream tour, especially in Tokyo. I console myself with those performances and every chance I get show the new generation, or critics those performances. To me, that's the one time she sounded better live than on her records. Recent pics/videos (63,277) by Musti from UK I don't see the big deal. She's just having a fun time. Martyn, I'm actually relieved that a less-than-impressive pic of her exists on the web. She is always so polished to perfection that it doesn't even feel real anymore. I didn't want to post this before so that I'm not hanged, but I really felt like her every single move on stage and on camera is a calculation to make sure she looks her absolute freaking best. I need you to please slow down. You are blowing up at a 13 year old over a blurry picture. I actually like the picture, Mariah found her light and hit the right angle. For an artist who hardly, who only likes to be seen as sexy and perfect, this is a nice change. I would love for her to do an artistic photo shoot like she did in 2003 where she did music throughout the years. Orlando shooting (63,275) by Haiji Toro from USA I know this is unrelated to Mariah, but I'm just waking up to this news. For those that haven't heard, I'm sure you'll hear about it on the news. 20 people have been killed at an Orlando gay club. Only the killer's name has been released, not yet confirmed if this was an "extrimist attack". My heart is so saddened by this news. I'm only an hour away and have many friends that live in Orlando that happen to go to that club weekly. My prayers truly go out to the victim's families, as well as my prayers are hoping that no one I knew attended. The craziness in this world has to stop. We should not have to live in fear and wonder if just being at the wrong place and wrong time, will be the end of us. I apologize for this rant, especially so early in the day. I may get fustrated about things pertaining to Mariah and fly off but this is ridiculous. When it comes to another person's mind and how they think, unless you are a psychologist or understand the full psychology of the brain, some things should not be said. That's why I choose not to feed into this conspiracy theory or many perceive ideas from bored fans who can't find other use of their valuable time. You can say and do the wrong things to someone and it's not be true until you say it or force yourself onto them. Thats when normal and great people start to develop depression and eventually begin thoughts of suicide. Why is there the perception that she is always in need of help or that she is not capable of taking care of herself or that she is out of control? Why is there so much pressure put on women in terms of how is acceptable behavior? Shouldn't we focus a little bit more on our own state of mind before judging another person as manic? May / rappers and drugs (63,267) by Licia from USA May, about that whole Mariah getting high situation, you may not be aware of this but not all rappers smoke weed, do other drugs, or drink (shocking I know). You'd be surprised at how many just rap about all that, but they have never or don't live that lifestyle. Mariah has probably been getting high and drinking since before she met all these rappers. The fact of the matter is that I don't agree with alot of what she's doing, but she's allowed to have fun. I wish some moments of her fun would not be put out there to give the whole world another reason to call her a drunken skank (that's just one of the fun names I've seen ), but it's her image not mine so I'm not going to lose sleep over it. She knows that they are uploading these videos and she seems to be ok with it because it continuously happens. There's nothing the most devoted fan could say to me to make me believe she doesn't know about them and approve of them. The one thing I care about is how this may affect her children in the long run. These videos will not disappear. All that I can say about JP is that if he's not happy with what she's doing then he needs to speak up. Her behavior won't change once they get married. We really don't know whether he's said something and she just won't listen or he's ok with it. Either way I hope this works out for them both. (Sunday 12 June 2016; 4:49)
