Rainbow Mariah (66,528) by Mara from United States
Came across this video of Mariah in Vegas for a stop during Rainbow and just wanted to share. I guess she indeed made it big. I do miss this Mariah who didn't have to be done up all the time and arrive to her shows undone. She looks to be having legitimate fun here.

I would definitely pick "Twister". It's a sad song, but it is once again Mariah serving great lyrics. When she sings "Lord I pray she's found some peace, and her soul's somewhere at ease". If that piercing whistle doesn't deliver the world "ease" into your soul, it is because you ain't got one. Enough said, and nobody is allowed to disagree with me on this one. Don't try it because if you do, Eric won't post it.

Languishing, Your Girl or Twister. Sorry, I know there's only a few of them, but I just can't pick. Depends on my mood.

Charting (66,525) by Nikki from usa
Although, I hope this Empire track is great, I'm not holding out any hope that this is Mariah's key back to the top. Typically, Empire songs don't sell that well or even hit radio for the most part. I think Mariah's next #1 is going to hit in December when AIWFCIY finally hits the summit which is long over due. One good thing being at Sony is updating her Vevo with all those music videos. I hope we finally get to hear that Roast Beast song, it sounds hilarious. After that, I think Mariah should follow it up with a bouncy number in the vein of Time Of Your Life/Triumphant/Hero kind of thing. Something with a can't-get-out-of-your-head-with-a-jack-hammer hook MC's known for with that kind of positive message. If anyone can make a track that appeals to several generations at once, it's Mariah. It should be a charity single. That should be her angle. That opens up so many platforms. Radio stations give contributions from time to time, so that could actually be her "in" to getting back on the air. She could capitalize on her career from there. I think it would be epic if she made a charity single #1. The music video needs Bard Mariah. She's at her best telling a story. She could try another old fairy tale classic or make up her own.

You have to choose one. Rainbow (Interlude), Twister or Languishing. My vote is for Languishing.

I'm in love with the title (66,520) by Letters From Adi from India
"Infamous" is such a sweet title. I'm expecting a ballad that's touchy. Like Terrence said "touches the heart and feels like the first time you've ever seen Mariah". I'm pleased already.

Miley takes shots at Mariah? (66,519) by Letters From Adi from India
So I saw this article with cryptic clues. The "ultimate diva with the big voice" instantly points at Mariah. While I don't mind her being funny at times, she needs to tone her antics a bit.

Mariah's streaming power (66,518) by Letters From Adi from India
I've noticed a very impressive thing about her stats. Among her contemporaries, she boasts a very good streaming potential. If her team can tap into a streaming monster, airplay and sales would follow too and she'll have a hit in her hands. It'll also help her catalogue boost in streams. Also, Without You just hit 100M views on Youtube. She has 5 in total now. Among her contemporaries, only Jennifer has more with 8. Next in line is Angels Cry with 81M.

Billboard charts (66,517) by Letters From Adi from India
Regarding the confusion about the charts, I want to help to clear that up. Hot 100 currently has 3 components: sales (sales week is Friday-Thursday), Airplay (Monday-Sunday) and streams (Friday-Thursday). If the song is being serviced to radio, I would suggest purchase when the song is peaking in airplay for a better peaking chance. If it isn't being sent, the first will most likely be its peak, so buying instantly would be better. If you buy the song before Midnight of Friday, it will count for another week and its points will be split up.

The Empire song will be named "Infamous". It will be available for digital downloads on 30th September. Any chart expert here who can guide people on how to make the downloads count?

Re: Instagram (66,513) (66,515) by Malcolm from Asia
Yes. She is much more beautiful when she is just being natural. I came to this article "Mariah Carey: Our Favorite Selfies", the time when the captions were almost hashtag-free and just amazing words by her, poses were just natural, not obsessing with lighting, gawd I really miss her on social media. I guess my favorite photo of her on Instagram is the one with the caption "My 1st Eggnog", she was just being herself and seemed relatable.

Re: Video (66,495) / Mimi L. (66,511) (66,514) by Marissa from USA
They are exploiting the fact that Mariah's lonely because they know good and well that it is not normal to hang around a "client" 365 days a year, including romantic trips and Christmas. When was LA Reid, Randy Jackson or even JD around this much? I can understand how tempting it can be to want to go along for the ride for the "Adventures of Mimi", but at the same time, you have to at least stop and think that if a person wants their entourage around that (caps) much, they are clearly dealing with some unresolved issues with loneliness and it isn't healthy to enable them all the time. But of course, they don't care about that. From the outside looking in, it doesn't even look like Mariah has that much one-on-one time with her kids anymore compared to before her new entourage came on the scene. Now the only time you see her with her kids is if she's in a setting where the Bulochnikovs are running rampant in the background, and that is not quality time to really be able to teach and cultivate your children. MC's entourage situation gives a whole new meaning to "it takes a village to raise a child". If I were Nick I would be furious at the fact that all of those tacky, anything goes people are around my kids on a daily basis. We can pretend that it's different because these are Mariah Carey's children, but the reality is that kids mimic what they see and after a while they're no longer going to be bulletproof to what's going on around them.

Totally agree. I couldn't believe my eyes how youthful and natural she looks in it. It's like two different persons. One is so loveable and the other staged one, well we've talked enough about it.

Re: Dem kids on instagram (66,500) (66,512) by RibbonB from USA
I agree nothing in that particular video, but the totality of all these silly videos and the one's sure to come might. It just gets from bad to worse from exploitative videos of M. to now one's with her children, it's rather pathetic and there are still over two months to go before the "Kardashians Next Tax Bracket" airs with Mariah and her crew of parasites. Which leaves them lots of time to exploit to try to scare up interest for themselves, because ain't nobody interested in them by themselves. And you stated it, who is supervising these kids? Who is taping them and who is uploading these videos? And worse, what else might they be taping? Mariah and "Old Stale Ho Stella" and her kids is one thing and bad enough, but don't put the dem babies in the stunts too.

Re: Video (66,495) / Mimi L. (66,509) (66,511) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I saw that video and Stella was next to Mariah and talking non stop, James was sitting on the other side of the table and just watching. I don't get the need to take the entire entourage. Mariah should have learned what happens when you mix your personal and professional life, it gives birth to leeches. Red flags all around. She has no one around her (except James, who is as good as being invisible) who is not on her payroll and hence will never do anything that will cause her to cut them off her bottomless jar of wealth.

Instagram (66,510) by Bill from the UK
The contrast between the pictures of Mariah on the bed and then the one with her and Rocky at the table is unbelievable. Mariah looks so youthful and happy and like her old self in that natural picture vs the staged ones. If only she would have the self belief that her beauty is natural and radiates from within.

Re: Video (66,495) / Mimi L. (66,508) (66,509) by Mara from United States
So Mariah is enjoying some "down time" before she starts up the next shows of the SSFT and then of course hopefully the Beacon Shows. She travels with all of these people now? All these women from Stella's family? I'm assuming it's Mariah that is paying for all of this. Now in this video along with especially that one of her eating at the table with James, Stella and two other men. The video is only two minutes long but she just looks a little sad. Still not sure about the whole James situation. You hardly see her look or talk to him. It's almost like if James marries Mariah, he gets two brides. Mariah and Stella too. I still don't understand how any man can be satisfied with spending time with his fiancé along with an entire entourage all the time. Maybe they do have time away privately but it just doesn't seem it. I do hope Mariah finds time to reflect and write some of her signature type deep songs like each of her albums always have. Wondering myself on when to download the Empire song as I want it to count the right way for charts.

Thanks for the clarification Billy, I also thought the same thing that you said but someone on UKMix was saying how it is part of tradition and everyone does it so I got confused and wanted clarification. Imagine going for a quiet lunch and then having to deal with this mess. A full grown woman dancing on a table with kids while other members of the party are screaming their heads off for no good reason. Mariah wasn't screaming though, she was sitting and singing along to her songs. But the rest of her group could get you deaf in a day. This whole dancing on table top at a family restaurant thing was cringeworthy and disrespectful.
