New music (60,947)
by Mara from United States
| |
|

Listening to all these fabulous clips of how amazingly clear and powerful her voice is, I am really craving new music now. I really hope she records new material ASAP and maybe we can see that process during the E show. She literally sounds amazing right now and I can see the second coming of Butterfly or better. The power in her voice along with her confidence is all lined up for this. Please make it happen.

Not a fan anymore (60,946)
by Edward from USA
| |
|
|
I'm hereby declaring myself a goat. How dare she? First she abused the rights of an innocent unicorn on the set of the video for "Touch My Body", then she dared to ruined many people's lives by revealing what was at the end of a rainbow in a song, not even a complete song, but an interlude, that's many colors left behind, and now she wants to go for the mini white elephants? I had it. Ariana, even though you like licking donuts and hate America, but here I go.

Who cares? I know I don't. I understand she could tie or break Mariah's record but her songs are forgettable and will not be remembered years from now let alone decades from now. Adele scored a #1 with Hello and sold seven million copies of her album but her second single didn't make much of an impact in the US.

Is this a rumor? (60,944)
by Whitney from United states
| |
|
|
I heard this rumor not too long ago, it was a close source, I can't give away my source but this person was dead serious while explaining it, but I don't believe one word of it. Mariah fires a nanny because she gave dem babies peanut butter instead of Vegemite. She fears James Packer will leave her.

80,000 People are furious with Mariah Carey (60,943)

Why do people believe everything they read? These so called journalist or bloggers are making these nuptials into a circus because of her reputation. If they had said she was planning on having dolphins, butterflies, and puppies it might be more believable.

Since everyone are mentioning Mariah on TV shows, she was mentioned earlier in season 1 of the show where John Stamos' character said something along the lines of, "I've been hosting Mariah Carey's 40th birthday for 5 years now." Ouch lol.

Can a knowledgeable lamb find a way to tell these 80,000 people that Mariah never even said that she was planning to do such a thing? I am certain that it is completely fabricated from someone trying to drag Mimi down again.

Haha. That's exactly what I was thinking. I laughed so hard out of sarcasm. I was like, they need to obsess over something else and stop acting bored. People will find anything to fill their time if their bandwagon is empty. On another note, Mariah is slaying Europe. Continue to scalp people's wigs and rise through the ashes like the phoenix you are Mariah. You better slay (thinking of the YouTube video of Christmas series where the guy constantly yells "you betta sing").

Alison and Morgan at it again (60,932)
by Gino from Italy

Go to Daily Mail, Alison made a video emotionally blackmailing Mariah again. I really do feel for Mariah, she's just trying to get on with her tour and see her fans. She doesn't need her family airing dirty laundry in public.

This tour has been serving paradise-quality vocals. [...] Her voice is literally making me emotional. I just can't. I'm speechless. She gotta have that chart slaying hit somewhere in her studio. [...]

Love Tried To Welcome Me proves just how much of a chameleon Madonna is musically. Say what you want about the woman, but she really has tried dabbling in everything with mostly successful results. The lyrics are just so poetic and touching. I often play that back-to-back with Forbidden Love and Take A Bow. Perfect opulent mellow trifecta for rainy nights.

SSFT vocals so far (60,927)

When was the last time you heard her sing this part of this version of Fantasy live and sound this good? I love how each audience is given slight vocal differences. Her belts, which to me are the money notes for her, have become clearer, stronger, and higher. Here is another video showcasing her belting range so far ending with her belting a note in Heartbreaker that I haven't heard in a long time. I can't at this perfection.

Discovering Kylie in retrospect, huh? If you wanna avoid the cheesy, go as far as her self-titled effort in 1994. Her debut album is also self-titled, but only with her first name. Maybe you can even go as far as Let's Get To It (1991). It's nice to find someone who appreciates Bedtime Stories as well. I especially love it due to the Babyface productions in it, particularly Take A Bow, which I feel is his best work as producer. Melt Away comes second. I guess by your joke that makes me a bad lamb as well, haha.

Walking down that 90s memory lane, aren't we? I so love "Bedtime Stories" too. One of the first albums I owned (though "Ray of Light" was the major turning point, and the first cassette I bought by myself). I'm having it on a daily rotation this past week actually. Such a "cerebral" (as a reviewer characterized it) album. "Love Tried to Welcome Me" is such a masterpiece. But Mariah doesn't have to know (just for laughs). I'm also exploring Natalie Cole's catalogue more and more lately. Her voice never moved me really, though I did find it pleasing and always loved the "Unforgettable" album. Still, as I have gone deeper into her discography and career after her passing I have ended up understanding her style and sound evolution better, though I prefer her in her jazzy phase. Also, what really made an impression on me is how widely respected she was in the industry and in America specifically, ever since she debuted in the mid 1970s. I never realized that before. She was also a really eloquent lady and seemed sweet too.
