Mariah mention (60,920) by Liz Archer from Sweden Well, I was watching a show called Supergirl. The episode was featuring was a crossover between Supergirl and the Flash as from different dimensions and Flash had run fast that he crossed over to this world with Supergirl (and Superman). The episode was featuring a meta-human (I think) that had the ability to scream in ultrasonic voice. So, in that scene where they discuss this meta-human and how to stop her, the character playing Flash mentioned, "At least it is good to know we both have Mariah Carey" or something like that. Anyways, I thought it was funny that they mentioned Mariah Carey as the common thing in the two different universes. (Tuesday 29 March 2016; 23:19)

I always feel like there was something special that lined up in the universe. I also love Velvet Rope and Older although that one unfortunately I didn't get into until years later. It's funny that you mention Kylie she's my current obsession and her CD is in my car stereo as we speak. I'm a newer fan so it's been a pleasure having an artist with an extensive catalogue to go through backwards. I've only gotten to 2000 lol. And don't think I can go too far back without it being too cheesy for me. Which album are you talking about? And alas Bedtime Stories will always have a special place in my heart. "It's time for vocal exercises Mariah", "put down that champagne have water instead". "Absolutely no rappers in your new album or show it must be all about you only", "work with newer producers, you need an update to your sound". Lol. It just makes you an open-minded music fan. And Ray Of Light is a great album, although I'm more of a Bedtime Stories fan, as it's similar to other moody masterpieces of that period (Older, The Velvet Rope, Kylie Minogue, and of course, Butterfly). My favorite part is how the writer was able to incorporate all these bits quoted from her at different points throughout her entire career - and cohesively. It's impressive as it is expressive. People say that girls mature faster than boys but I don't think a 12 year old girl wearing full on contour and make up with alcohol around her is appropriate, even if people say girls mature faster. She's actually balancing out her mix more and more and her belts have been more open-throated, singing open Eb5s. Likewise her vibrato is really even and rolling. Although I do share the concern that many have about the now infamous Stella. I am truly worried for Mariah having someone like her around is a little scary. She comes off as a full blown narcissist with her little narc in training daughters. Maybe it's all for show, to get attention, whatever it is, it doesn't look good from here. Peace and love to all. Re: Stella (60,888) (60,894) by Marissa from USA I am certainly not denying the fact that Mariah's career has been on an upward trajectory since Stella has stepped in. Anyone can see that. But nonetheless she comes across as thirsty, ever-present and unprofessional. I don't think she's bad for Mariah's career in terms of underperforming on the job, but I think she is smothering Mariah and definitely trying to make her kid a star off of Mariah's back instead of just doing her job. As far as your speculation argument, as fans nearly everything we say is based on speculation. None of us know Stella or even Mariah personally. That doesn't mean that we aren't allowed to have an opinion until we miraculously get their numbers stored in our phones and start having weekly lunches together to catch up. They are both in the public eye, therefore they know that perception will be interpreted as reality. If Stella wasn't constantly inserting herself and her kids into nearly every pic of Mariah, cursing out journalists, insulting fans and having Mariah sign on for a reality show which she swore up and down that she wouldn't do since reality shows became a "thing", no one would be calling her out. As a reality TV producer, she knows that people will respond to the image that you project, therefore I don't feel bad or childish for having an opinion about it. (Tuesday 29 March 2016; 1:38)
