The stuff is starting now (57,876)

AIWFCIY is currently #88 on the iTunes US chart. There's a picture confirming she will appear on Steve Harvey's show. She teased a pic with Katie Couric. There's another shot floating where it looks like she's doing some cooking segment, Frito pie part 2 perhaps? The periscope moment for MAC was cute. Mariah's interview with Access Hollywood was brilliant. She was so girly and innocent, and most importantly, she came off really likeable. I couldn't stop smiling while watching her talk about all the good things happening in her life. I had a feeling that chain-link necklace was from Packer. Good things happening.

Mariah looks like she was from 2008 plus 2013 era mixed together. More beautiful than ever. I actually believe that she's one of those beauty that gets more beautiful as they age. Eat your heart out Nick. She has that smile and glow. Forever gorgeous dahlings.

I hope so. Busta is talented. I don't know why she insists on working with these mediocre rappers (and I'm being nice here). First French Montana, now Rick Ross. What's next? A good move would be to work with Missy again.

Slowly but surely (57,872)
by Lee TS from USA
| |
|
|
She is really starting to slim down and it's evident in the newer pictures. Her jawline is getting more defined and whatever was going on with her cheeks, especially during the filming of Melody, has now settled. She looks so pretty and youthful, even the ensembles are getting cuter. Still, a little more pop of color would be nice. I hope she keeps up whatever she is doing and dress up to the nines for Beacon. Maybe a long fancy gown but with a daring high split to show off those legs, a little thigh action never hurted anyone. She's on the promo train and it's exciting. I hope she's rehearsing to be in a good place vocally.

Putting on a show (57,871)

I appreciate sincerity in people. I don't want to get much into politics. I'm just glad Mariah is not fake like Madonna. Madonna looked fake to me with her crocodile tears with her speech about Paris. I am actually a fan of Madonna, but she looks fake. I rather hear an honest "I hate you" than a fake "I love you".

Thoughts (57,870)

I think Mariah should follow in Beyonce and Adele's footsteps with her next single. Don't give us any hints or info for the next single or album. Lay low and then surprise everyone with a banging song. I want things to go right this time and have Mariah have another amazing era. Along with scoring her next 19th number one.

That would be nice. I still think "Camouflage" is one of the best ballads she's recorded since the 90's. And on a side note, I would like to know if Mariah shot any more videos for "Me I am Mariah".

More like "Thirsty". Why would he bring that incident up? If it really happened, which I don't think it did. Just another person using Mariah's name for relevance.

I have a feeling it will be. Mariah is smart. She'll use this collaboration with Ross to pique the public's interest in her and then release a stellar single and album. I see this playing out similarly to IKWYW.

T Pain is desperate. She flirts with everyone. Glad to know a glass of wine or whatever is all it takes to get Mimi tipsy. She's not an alcoholic she's just a cheap drunk. Three beers and I'm drunk.

I can't be elusive with you, Honey. I'm sure you worked for Attitude magazine about 4 years ago. It was then. Well, it was either you or somebody who looks, walks and talks like you. So could be any number of drag queens. AIWFCIY department store thing sounds great. Unless, of course, it's Matalan. But HMS Ocean sort of won out on that front a couple of years ago - Mariah even tweeted about it, I think. So you just need something to outdo the Royal Navy's flagship. No pressure, like.

Watch What Happens Live / T Pain (57,859)

I don't know if any of you caught it but Sunday T Pain was on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live. He was asked by a fan on twitter what it was like working with MC. He said she gets drunk off a very little bit of wine and she was in the booth made for one with him while he was trying to record his verse for Migrate and to me in my opinion he was making it seem like something happened in there. Did anyone else catch it and feel like that?

Why do we value social media so much? (57,858)
by MimiLamb from Germany
| |
|
|
I'm reading through the comments here and I'm like what? Some of you are disappointed because Mariah did not Tweet right away? And when she did it wasn't her. Some seem to take social media way too serious. Just because she tweets doesn't mean she doesn't care, she is an entertainer and for me those moments are there to escape the harsh reality of what's going on, even if it's only for a few seconds. My heart goes out for the world, Paris was not the only city/country under attack. I pray that we don't get worse then we already faced. These are hard times for us all, let's not start nitpicking on "our idol" because she doesn't do what you expect her to do. Let us use her music for strength, let it uplift us because we can all use it right now.

Touch My Body - 100M Vevo certified (after 1 week) (57,857)
by Pau from Mexico
| |
|
|
Exactly a week ago, I posted that the TMB YouTube video had 94,474,627 views and asked all the lambily to watch it every now and then to achieve what would be MC's 3rd Vevo certification. You want to know how the lambily did? At the moment, the video has 94,883,950 views so it had a growth of 409,323 views in 7 days. If this pace remains constant, MC would get the certification in 12.7 weeks and that would be in mid February 2016. Do you imagine how cool would that be? To get the 100M in the middle of her Vegas run. If you guys want to know more about MC's YouTube statistics, go to this link and check how she is doing in total views, views per week, subscriptions, etc. You cannot know the growth per video, the website only gives you the average change of her 133 videos, and even gives you projections. In the last 60 days she had an average of 1,060,169 views per day, which I believe is too low, although I reckon it has been increasing little by little and we could get to make it go even higher.

Tweet Mariah tweet (57,855)
by Andrew from UK
| |
|
|
I think people should look to Mariah Carey for a tweet about the Paris hideousness as they should look to Francois Hollande to burst into song. Tweets these days (especially when celebrities die) are somewhat seemingly self-promotion (I'm a little cynical, yes) and often just random meaningless words typed into the ether, because it's expected of them. It's smacks a little of left-wing pressure: "Say what we want, when we want, or we're coming for you." Mariah Carey has a deep heart, and her heart sings. I'm not sure criticism for not putting out shallow social media commentary isn't a little unfair.
