Because on Twitter she answered this fan question: "If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?" Answer: "You can't do that to me."

Aww Gretchen, I'm not that fragile. You can Shade me any old time, my derma is very thick tbh. The only way to truly get under my skin is by deliberately spreading or supporting malicious lies, misinformation and slander about Mariah. That's a pet peeve of mine in general. But I do appreciate the disclaimer none the less and thankfully I'm not the only one reporting for duty in the Lamb Guard. We all do our part, yourself included. Good luck on the casting couch for Melody & Mistletoe btw. Yours truly, Regina George.

It is sad that so called music magazines and publications, especially Billboard, fail to give Mariah the recognition she not only deserves but has earned. The Grammy Awards are no longer an award of merit. They chose Drunk In Love as the R&B Song of the Year and it wasn't. They snub Mariah and award lesser artists which is why I no longer watch the ceremony. MIAMTEC deserved to be nominated for and win Best R&B Album.

Wow, look at Entertainment Tonight doing the job of RollingStone, Billboard, The Grammy's etc. They are taking thorough too, actually tracking down John Norris and Da Brat for new quotables. I'm impressed since most media outlet's staff are all about shortcuts and secondhand reporting. But not ET, who are also responsible for a recent new classic: 1988 Mariah Carey hair, from the now infamous HWOF event. Very nice to see that there are actually still some people around M who have remained consistent and loyal no matter where the wind blows. All of this was just to reiterate how Fantasy is another genius of MC's and so I guess all that's left to say is Happy Anniversary Hip-Pop and R.I.P.ODB Free the clown, directed by Mariah Carey.

Baby, you're our Regina George. Always putting people in their place and defending our girl with class. The Regina George part of this comment was not meant as a diss. If someone called me Regina George I'd take it as a compliment. I'm Gretchen because my hair is full of Mariah Carey facts, lol.

"Sometimes I honestly enter the messageboard only to be amazed by one of your amazing comments Baby darling. You're winning lambs inside the lambly. Lol." Carlos, that really means a lot because you basically affirmed my core intent for posting on MCA word for word. I'm here to empower and embolden my fellow lambs with as much ammunition to defend Mariah, and the Lambily at large, as intelligently as possible. If I entertain some of you while doing it, it's only a byproduct of my particular brand of humour. So thank you awfully for the feedback Carlos, it's very appreciated. End self-aggrandizing spiel (well, for this post anyway).

I agree B, it was a great article and MC certainly deserves way more credit and respect for how she has changed the face of popular music. It's plain as day that, despite what they all say, every female singer of the last ten or fifteen years wants to be Mariah. They emulate her singing style, her various looks, the genres she operates in etc. Mariah will always be the best because she was one of the last genuine artists to descend upon us. When she arrived nobody sang like her, looked like her, or did what she did. It was genuine, she was unique. She is very much "often imitated, never duplicated". So true.

MC please surprise us (56,863)

I want Mariah to do a collaboration with Adele or Sam Smith. I think it's nice to have a surprise collaboration from them. I just wish later this year MC will surprise us with a collaboration either one of these two wonderful artist, together with a classic music video. It will surely be a brilliant ballad. Please MC, serve us one music this last few months before 2016. Wait, what happened to the Infinity remix (Why You Mad?)? I wish it will be included in JB's new album.

Actually it is the Mexican single to Mi Todo which includes: 1. Mi Todo 2. Butterfly Meme's Extended Club Mix part 1 and 2 3. Butterfly Sambatterfly 4. Butterfly Classic Bossa Nova 5. My All Sorry I cannot post a pic of one of my copies, it seems like this new message board provider doesn't support the Macintosh. I can't recall if they came in a cardboard or jewel case packaging, because someone I, let's say, don't appreciate at all since long ago, tore them off on one of his hormonal days. I still have the CDs though. Btw, just in case you Andrew are around. I say hello.

Mariah and James (56,860)
by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
| |
|
|
When I saw the clip of Mariah at The Intern premiere and she was asked "Are you here to support your man?" She just laughed and said "It's fun." I was like huh? That's it? But then I kinda thought about it and it's good that she is taking things slowly and lightly. She just got out of a marriage of 6 years, she doesn't need to dive into another serious one immediately. At this point her main focus should be to keep herself happy and healthy for her babies and do whatever makes her feel good. Getting super serious so soon would probably just make James a rebound but it seems like they are taking their time getting to know each other which is the best way to go. She didn't get to do that with Nick. They jumped into marriage too soon and eventually the spark fizzled. James and Mariah are equals in a way, they are both successful (so no one is taking advantage), they are both close in age scale (so they are both matured and would understand each other) and they are both tall (haha joking). Anyways, I wish them both the best. They look like a good power couple together. I agree with B that she is finally in a relationship with her equal.

Although I really don't follow coverage of Mariah's relationships, or go looking for info, James does seem quite sensitive, understated and secure in who he is. By that, I mean grounded with some life experience under his belt, which balances with Mariah's sensitivity and life cred. There have been many times where I've felt even the lambily doesn't quite grasp how sensitive she is. I wish them the best. Relationships can be challenging enough communicating etc as partners without the added pressure of celebrity. Beyond any relationship, I just want to see Mariah happy and confident within herself which is exactly what she has been radiating lately.

Yeah, tour books would be really cool. For me, the Butterfly tour especially since I absolutely adore that album. Every song on it has personal significance. When I bought my iPad I decided to have lyrics from Butterfly engraved on the back. (Apple does it for free.) I have all the promos from Merry Christmas except "Miss you most", so if I ever come across that - it would be cool. There's also a Mexican promo for Butterfly that has an acoustic version which is really pretty. I'd love that.

I agree. Mariah's relationship with Packer seems different. They seem like equals, even though he's a billionaire. Tommy was a manipulator (predator) and Nick was an opportunist. The only relationship in which she seemed to have found an equal prior to Packer was Jeter. Mariah and Jeter were a modern day Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio. Of all of her relationships theirs was my favorite and both were supernovas in the 90's.

Anne Hathaway (56,854)
by B from USA

I've always been a fan of Anne Hathaway but hearing she's basically a lamb made me love her even more. I wonder if she was already a fan when Charmbracelet was released or if that was the album (era) that made her a fan (lamb). I feel that if you were or became a fan (or a lamb) during the Glitter and Charmbracelet eras when it was cool to make fun of Mariah it earns you an automatic spot in the lambily. Let's not forget Mariah named us back in 97-98, a decade before Pop stars and rappers were naming their fans. Just another example of Mariah's impact and originality.

I've been saying she's primed for a comeback for awhile now. She just needs an amazing song. I don't care if it's Hip-hop, R&B, Disco, or EDM as long as it's a good song she'll score a hit.

Anne hathaway's reaction was so cute. I already love her as an actress, now I love her even more. It's so good to see all these younger artists mentioning Mariah. Justin, Katy and now Anne. Add the GOW commercial, it's reintroducing Mariah to the new listeners. Everything is ready for a "comeback". P.S. Could someone post the link/video with Mariah commenting on Anne?
