The dancers (55,501) by Lee TS from USA I feel so bad for the girl dancers, the costume department had them looking bleak if there ever was a time to use a Mariahism. It's like they're not allowed to look any type of cute, from a boring black frock to popcorn girls to a silly maid outfit. The boys get to shine, dressing up to dressing down. I have not seen a single complaint regarding her voice in the July leg. I too was worried, like Licia, that her voice may not be in good shape after being on board and visiting places with different climates and also because she seems to have rehearsed just a few days before the main show. But she seems to be in great condition vocally at the moment. Plus I used the word "slay" with good reasons man, I am actually envisioning her riding a horse with her sword (the voice) out and killing anyone who comes in her way with the strength of her talent. He and Packer make movies and TV together. Brett signed MC up to do a movie based off her Christmas album for her. He was on board and Packer was a fan of her music. Brett was the one who set them up to date because he thought they'd get along great. Just on a personal notion from reading the GP, I can't help but notice how Mariah spent her life dating/married to people she far out-earns. As much as people like to act like she gold-dug with Mottola, she had other options with other labels. By the time they were engaged she was a multi millionaire. CEO of a major label is a six figure salary job, just saying. Derek and Luis were nowhere near MC's money bracket when they dated in '98 and '99-'01, but no one called them gold diggers for simply dating her. This is the first time Mariah's not the breadwinner of the relationship. People are calling her a gold digger and "thot" for dating Packer as if she isn't rich already. There aren't many men in entertainment in her league which means she's going to have to worry about someone wanting her for fame, ego, or money. JP is said to be a "private" man, has his own cash, and already had his youth to sow wild oats. Cmon Andrew (55,496) by darrian liu from taiwan I do agree Honey is somewhat not as satisfying as the other performances in Vegas but there are like a lot of songs in which she murders. Don't get me started with TGIFY, that song's performances have been the best of Mariah's in 2015. IDWC, VOL, LTT, Someday, those are great vocal moments. She does still have a problem with uptempo songs, but even Touch My Body is good. Most of the Vegas are actually good, really good. Meanwhile, why did they only give Mariah a star on Walk Of Fame in 2015? It's way overdue. Nonetheless, I'm really happy for MC. (Tuesday 28 July 2015; 2:47)

And as far as her personal life goes, I'm not out there looking for information or details, not my business. But, as someone who cares about Mariah the person, I do hope she takes time for herself. Just because a relationship ends and you're no longer a thing, doesn't mean you're "over" the experience and I genuinely don't think Mariah is "over" it. I'm saying this as someone who loves her. I'm not judging her. I'm simply saying a new relationship can't fill or stuff the emotional void of the last one, and even though she's smiling on the outside I still think she's very sensitive to the experience. The brazen idiocy. James Packer is a catch. Mariah Carey is a catch. They are more equally yoked than either of their previous partners just going by what we know so far. Financially, name recognition, clout, age, current family dynamics, social circles, professional ambition etc. They look good together and make a lot of sense. In this context that is the year of 2015, Mariah Carey's strategic sharing of innocuous pictures and quite unscandalous narrative of a very public courtship is as tame as it gets. She's doing the smart thing, adapting to the new format, in her own way. Mariah is clearly happy. I also agree about the media not reporting on her performances. From the clips I've seen she sounds great. She deserves the chance to redeem herself from all the bad media and as you said they chose to steer the media towards her relationship. I'm not saying this is the scenario that is happening with Mariah and James but throwing it out there as anything is possible. He is a very rich man who is in the casino business. Maybe Mariah is keeping him near to secure her future of performing. He will have resources that she can cross market new material with performances, etc. Before the casino industry, he was massively wealthy at a media company. Licia / cardboard cutouts (55,476) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Licia, I completely agree with your post but just wanted to let you know (in case you didn't) that those big cardboard cut outs seems to be a regular thing for the hosts of the parties at 1-OAK club. Scott Disick is usually the host and I have seen in a couple of places that when he is in the club, big card board cut outs of his face along with his girlfriend Kourtney's are usually waved around. Same with when Kim K and her family goes there, their cardboard cutouts along with the person they are dating are usually waved around the club when they make appearances there. So it's not just Mariah and James. I am just writing this because I saw others on other boards also find it creepy. Which I can't blame them since I don't get the point of it but it's a regular thing there. (Monday 27 July 2015; 16:08)

I always remember her being very private with her relationships in the past. Once in an interview, she even said something along the lines of, "I don't think I should have to talk about my relationships until I am married to that person." That is not an exact quote, but it was similar to that effect. It seems like Mariah has changed so much over the last few years. I don't know what to think of this "new romance" between her and James. It's hard to say because you can't believe everything you read and only half of what you see anyway. Who knows?
