I said the first time the photos of her and James came out that seeing her with him almost gave me the same feeling as when she was photographed with Luis. She looks happy. I love the fact that she is with someone her age and successful and there is just an air about them together. She looks classy and yes like a grown sexy woman. Why can't Mariah be happy, why has it to be staged? (55,111) by trox from united states Why can't Mariah be happy with her new boyfriend? Why does it look all staged? She's an international superstar, so she knows she's been photographed, so there will always be a bit of "staging" in everything she does. I don't think Mariah would ever use a personal relationship for publicity. We all know she had very few relationships and that after Louis [sic] Miguel, she spent a long long long time - and I would say years and years - as a single woman, rumors aside (that Mark Sudack thing was dubious, it was never ever confirmed). She's very protective of herself, but when she's in love, she's not afraid to show it. We could see pictures of her with Louis [sic] Miguel and Nick Cannon all the time too. I think it's very interesting and refreshing that she's with an older man, more mature and being treated as a real grown woman. Enough with the 12-year-girl act of the 00's. Headlines (55,110) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter The Vegas shows are starting and so I hope things go back to a world where Mariah's performances are getting the headline treatment and not her day to day vacation updates, her accidental tumbles and why JP didn't get up or things of that nature. I like that MC's team is controlling the press but honestly everything is good in small doses. They were overdoing it, releasing personal pictures as "paparazzi shots" and what not. Anyways hoping that from now we'll get back to getting stories about her incredible performances and hopefully get more insight into some of the side projects she has been dropping hints about. Personal life (55,109) by Mara from United States Yes, I was going to post something similar. Not sure what is going on with the whole Packer thing. I really do hope it's not for publicity and she is just having fun. I know there were reports that Packer is opening a casino in Vegas soon. I just hope he didn't decide to be "seen" with Mariah in between her Vegas shows to get his name out there now that she will back performing there. I also hope MC is not along for the ride and in on it for whatever reasons either. We have to think no. But I was going to post yesterday about the crazy posts Nick has been putting up lately. Seems like ever since Mariah was seen with JP. I don't know what happened with MC and NC and I don't want to speculate that everything he posts is Mariah related but it sure can be looked at that way. Not sure what he is insinuating with all of these or if he is upset she has moved on. All I know is if he did do her wrong and she is seeing all that he is posting, she has to get a little chuckle out of this now. ***off singing Someday. Amber (55,108) by Licia from USA When those pics of Mariah and Packer kissing popped up I said they looked staged. I can't say whether this is a publicity stunt or not. I'm hoping not because Mariah has never been one to use her relationships for publicity. She's never needed to. As for Nick cheating, there has only been one relationship before Mariah that I know of where he was accused of cheating. I never speculated on why he and Mariah broke up, but there were rumors that both sides were accusing the other of cheating. The only thing that I'm really not liking is that Mariah's camp is trying to make it seem as though this Packer guy just popped up and is courting her. Those pics show more than courting. Ceriouse about something (55,107) by Warrior Butterfly from USA Mariah appeared on Oprah the day before her album hit the stores in 2008 when she said that "I just did a sequence with L.A. Reed" when asked what cut number Bye Bye Bye [sic] was. You can see what I'm talking about here less than minute into the video. My question is this the album has already been physically printed and pressed a head of time, since Oprah was holding a physical copy. If sequencing or order of tracks was being done the night before wouldn't throw off all the prints. Let's say if Bye Bye Bye [sic] was cut five for example but the print and booklet say thirteen. Wouldn't it take a few weeks to print that many physical copies? I'm wondering how it works. (Tuesday 7 July 2015; 7:04)

Its all speculation, these relationships (lets chat) (55,105) by Amber C from USA Looking at photos Nick put on instagram lately made me realize that Nick and Mariah's reason for divorce is still very much unknown. Not to mention no one actually saw it coming. One minute, "We're walking", next minute, "Thanks for Roc and Roe". I do remember Nick's father's posts but I doubt it has anything to do with much. I don't know, every one speculated Nick cheated, but he doesn't seem to be the type to cheat. As a lamb I guess Im just curious. Online I found a book written by Damien "Damizza" on his relationship with Mariah. I have been getting a strong feeling he will reconnect with Mariah one day. If you read the Mariah chapter you might get a sense of what I'm talking about. On YouTube there is a video on Mariah where she is with the kids and Stella. Stella tells everyone to look happy and smile because they are being filmed. Lol. It got me thinking, every single pic of Mariah and her new guy is cheerful and smiley, staged? The TMZ shot from Independence Day looks too staged. Could is all be for publicity? Please comment back if you care about this ordeal and if you think it may be all publicity. P.S. I found this awesome video of the fierce Whitney. She was such a bad ass woman. She put Wendy right in her place. I wonder if MC will ever get that chance. In this "freaking classic" video, Wendy asks Whitney about her and Bobby having sex. Wendy asks her "I bet you all have wild circus sex don't you?" and Whitney responds, "Wendy, don't make me meet you outside. Come on now, you getting too deep. BBMAs (55,094) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I was watching the BBMAs performance of Mariah again, and I have to say that now I think it was actually much better than what I thought when I first saw it. I mean I never thought it was really bad. In fact I was happy that she pulled it off despite being somewhat visibly nervous. She did hold back on some notes, which she later let out in the Kimmel performance (the "I had a vision of love" growl) and then the Kelly and Michael performance (where she was rolling out one whistle after another and making it look so effortless). Anyways back to the BBMAs, at first I felt that the transition from VOL to "Infinity" was a little abrupt, but after watching it a few times now, I think it's not half as bad. Overall, after re-watching that performance several times, I now feel that it was a pretty good performance and she looked so beautiful and adorable. That dress looked great on her, I am glad she changed into it because I wasn't really feeling the black outfit she wore on the red carpet. Too much boobs and the sheer panels were not giving a flattering illusion. "Infinity" is definitely a good song for live performances. It sounds much more grand. I think a lot of people started liking the song after they heard it live, that's why the song kept shooting up the charts every time she had a live performance. (Saturday 4 July 2015; 21:23)

To you dahling, but I still stand by my thoughts on the way you came across the first time. You were trying it with that post girl. Lol. I totally disagree with the "Mariah getting what she deserved" comment though, she didn't deserve to be put in the predicament period. It was a very grimy move on the producers part. I'm sure they had every intention of "Nicki outshining Mariah" (as you put it). Nicki was casted to be the younger, fun, flamboyant, eccentric, crazy wildcard judge (for gimmick reasons) and Mariah was to be the creditable judge. This became a problem because then it starts to be about comparing the female judges ("Nicki's fun, Mariah is boring and serious") when it's supposed to be about the contestants. It makes sense for Mariah to not be here for that. Besides what diva (or person for that matter) enjoys being upstaged? It was cute for Nicki to acknowledge Mariah's success and influence (Mariah showed Nicki the same love and told her she will "go far"), but it doesn't excuse her blowing the "feud" way out of proportion. Nicki is a shady heifer too (don't get it twisted), all she had to do was throw it back at Mariah while still keeping it cute and Im sure it would've blown over better and they could've made up and "complemented each others judging style how Jesus would've loved". You really think JLo wouldn't have loved to play Nicki's part? It would've been Emmy worthy. Randy was a given and they were cool beans and always had been. And contrary to what The Vendetta likes to falsely perpetuate Mariah's cool with 99% of everyone she's ever met. Be it casual fans, lambs, ex-writing partners, collaborators, industry people most don't know by name as well as her many followers but most notably, her peers and contemporaries all love her. Mariah is a very likeable person. The activity and history of this board is proof of that (btw, thanks for the assist Web Eric ). My point is, that M's very aware of her public image and the machinations behind it. Obviously she doesn't know the minutiae of every single negativity but I digress. So MC detonates the JLo grenade only to find herself on a 4 person panel with an "artist" who'd made it clear beyond windex that she wouldn't be supporting UOMF during the video shoot no less. Ask B. Scott. Something the AI producers had years to sniff out. Word gets around. Nicki Minaj was their Plan B. itch from inception. They, including JLo and TM, played her. It's not complicated. If Stella got Mariah on that deal, Mariah should keep Stella forever because even when she was was with Andre Leon and Benny Medina, Mariah never got to be the cover girl for HB, Vogue and Vanity Fair and I failed to comprehend why since 2005-2008 Mariah was on fire both success and glamour wise. I still don't know if the HB thing is for real or she just had a shoot with the people involved with HB for her own project. Either ways, I want to know what went down. Plus Mariah why do you hang out with Balmain's designer and yet don't give me a single Balmain moment? Get it together woman. I root for Edgy-Riah. Last but not the least, fingers crossed for Mariah to drop that hideous Alaia dress which looks like a fish is swallowing her. The collar and scaly fish tail mess. Mariah freaking Carey is the only one who genuinely put her love of God through her music. She even said it herself (with 18 #1). She is a true testament that nothing is possible with the Lord. Heck her first single was her offering to God. Why do you think she’s the most successful? Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Eminem are gimmick artists. Don’t you ever compare. That wasn’t my logic either. My main point was the devil will go after truly talented influential artists and tear them apart (i.e. Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson). I did not say Mariah Carey is evil. I said the devil always would do something to mess up artists used by God. It’s evident in her love and professional life. After she reached success and happiness, evil got Nick, the foundation ended. Satan succeeded on ending the union. The whole entire world judges Mariah Carey so you don’t have to be so uptight about it. What you do is pray, keep praying for her. Nicki Minaj didn’t make it hard. Mariah made it hard. Nicki Minaj always acknowledged Mariah’s legendary status and gave her love, even when the fight broke out. She kept it real. Her feelings really was hurt. The truth is Nicki outshined Mariah. Mariah didn’t like it, threw shots, got what she deserved right back, held a grudge and it went on the whole season. Point dot dot. Nonetheless it’s over so let’s move on and hope the best for her. Each could frickin vacuum the Grammys like nothing. The debut album, Music Box and TEOM could sweep the Grammys pretty easily as well. Imagine how surprised I am that she only had 5. Beyonce, an artist who had less cultural and musical impact (a good artist nonetheless), won 4 times more than Mariah. I really don't understand. Why would they snub such an artist like that?
