Mariah Carey's stage presence (55,541) by Malcolm from Asia But, one thing is really bothers me and I think it is normal and can really improve by her is her stage presence. I just notice that her movements when performing is not the true Mariah Carey on stage. She is conscious when moving but I think it is because of what happened to her last 2013 I think when she shoots for the spanglish remix of #Beautiful. After that incident, I really notice the change in her stage presence like she is sometimes nervous and the result of that is she is not owning the stage like she used to before. I just watch her "Save The Music 2005" performance of I'll Be There, and that is she really is when performing, you can feel the emotions, she is moving freely and owning the stage like on the 1000th level. I somewhat agree on the person who says that Mariah is now like a high school girl who has stage fright. But for me, she is more like a very talented high school girl but has a stage fright. After all, it can really be changed, she just must accept that she is having a problem performing on stage and be open for improvements or it can come back naturally, depends of how happy her life is. She's losing weight so I guess she's been working out. She could've chosen another colour because she's wearing a lot of black lately (I can understand her choice, I wear black a lot too). 2015 is lifting MC up and I like it. Mariah Carey (55,538) by Malcolm from Asia I just read the articles about the 2015 Icons Portfolio of MC and the review of Ryot about her Vegas Residency, and while i'm reading this two, I became emotional seeing the sympathy, respect, and treating her as a living legend. I'm so in love with her shoot for Harper's Bazaar as Marie Antoinette, we just saw another side of hers, the vibe, the "it's so suits her" costume and every detail of it, it is all on-point and unexpected. And for the Ryot's review, it is so emotional and uplifting as a fan of her. The whole review is very relatable and true, it is just the truth. I know all of us wants the best "for" Mariah, and "from" Mariah, but after all of this and that, after all the demands from her, she is just a human. Many of us became critical on every aspect of MC and I think this is the time that we realize and accept the new norm of her especially with her voice. If some of us feels irritated when she is not sounding like the 90's or the original recording, we can start realizing that even if it is happening, she is better among the majority of her colleague and the newer ones. It is what it is, but if she can bring back her old voice then it is grateful to have and to hear. (Thursday 30 July 2015; 16:52)

Not sure if it's the same movie as the RatPac one since she said she won't star in the RatPac one and that she is going to be an executive producer, not director. Anyways, I just saw the pictures and wow she is serving simultaneous Rainbow and E=MC2 era beauty. She seems to have lost weight too since she looks thinner both from the frontal shot and also from the side shot. The shot from the front is serious Rainbow/E=MC2 era vibe. Mariah just looks so much younger when she wears short dresses and shows some legs. But please none of that Chanteuse tour champagne 2 piece which exposed her undies but more of the length that's just above her knees. I hope she puts away the longs gowns for a while. Wouldn't Mariah be the absolute perfect person to play Glinda the Good Witch? The role that Lena Horne played in the film. It's a small role (more like a cameo, really) but has the biggest song in the film, "If You Believe". The set is so elaborate and this is the first time she is singing all her #1's at one go so it's epic. I also think that if these low quality phone videos sound so good, one can only imagine how great she must sound live and recorded in professional recordings. I think the phone videos don't really capture the entire greatness that is her voice, so I need them professional video MC. Plus I wonder what happened to the documentary. Let me break that down again. Vegas is nothing more than damage control for all the havoc that was caused last year. It is not meant to prove anything about Mariah the singer, or artist. For heaven's sake she's performing the same flipping songs over and over. Half of the songs she probably distastes. She's wearing the same gowns over and over again. Im not going to deny that M loves the fans and lambs but she probably can't wait until each show is over so she can relax in bed with dembabies and watch a family movie or something. So whether or not Mariah sings well or performs well in Vegas she's still getting paid and is still making a lot of people happy. What more could we ask for? (Wednesday 29 July 2015; 7:08)

Lol, but on the bright side Mariah looks comfortable and she doesn't seem to be pretending to be oh so hot like she did with Nick, if I'm to be completely honest. Also I may be getting used to him but James is kinds adorable lol. Something about his features, and warm demeanor. He also had a very pleasant voice and an engaging accent. I can see why Mariah kind of gave in to him. Also call me crazy but last year a YouTube psychic said that Mariah will finally settle for an Asian man lol. As in third time's the charm. She also said Nick will get sick, and will get a woman pregnant. The funny thing is, she kept on insisting that Iggy had Asian lineage. But you see the similarities? TGIFU 7/26/15 (55,520) by 123 from USA I don't know about anyone else, but the final performance of her July leg of TGIFU was so good. I haven't heard her have that much clarity in her tone in a long time. We've been asking her to stop lipping on songs and instead sing live and just lower the key. She finally does just that and even re-arranges this song and I"m shocked that people don't appreciate it. She even sang the Rainbow interlude right before. I would love an album full of the TGIFU vocals. Holding her to the high standards of the past just perpetuates the perceived need to have to lip. Deception (55,519) by darrian liu from taiwan Tbh, Dreamlover is one of her easier songs to sing. The hardest part was only the last chorus. It doesn't make sense if she lips Dreamlover because she can't do it. She can just lip the "take me up oh" and "won't you please please". She's lipping Dreamlover so that she can sing Hero, and she lips Honey to slaughter My All. It makes sense that way. Since her voice is improving really fast, I hope she can sing all of her #1 hits soon. Andrew, maybe you don't feel anything about TGIFY, but talking from a technical standpoint, it was incredible. Optimal resonance in her belts (all the way to Eb5), supported, solid low notes, and good precision and note separation of the runs. It was super good. (Wednesday 29 July 2015; 3:49)

But don't come with the story she couldn't find the time to receive it back in 06 (or 07 I'm not sure ) because that is lame. I knew she declined it back in the 90's for a good, and I must say, humble reason but the story she has to be present and so on and she couldn't find the time to make it to the cerimony? Hummm I'm not convinced but she is getting it now and I couldn't be more enthusiastic about it because unlike many artists that came after her and already have one, Mariah's star has a story, a true legacy behind it and we can count only a few artists with such background on the Walk Of Fame. But it seems I always pay attention to them, even when they make me cringe. Mariah lipped this, she lipped that, she can't sing this part because of blah blah blah. Is it all you people think about? Is that why you people press play on the videos? I mean, lighten up a bit will you? I don't live in ignorance's bliss but I don't live obssessed with perfection either. Mariah lips - fact. But is she a worse person for it? No so why bother? If you feel like you're cheated or disapointed, close the door, lose the key and leave Mariah alone.
