Infinity (51,522) by Mara from United States If indeed Infinity is the name of the new single, I love how Mariah gives us little hints. Could just be a coincidence, but in those photos of MC, the twins and Nick on Easter, Roc is wearing some part of Buzz Lightyear's gear. Buzz Lightyear is a character from Disney's Toy Story who always says "to infinity and beyond". Again, it could mean just that Roc loves him, which I'm sure he does. But it's just a cute observation. Infinity does have a nice ring to it and certainly lives up to what Mariah stands for in the music industry. Her music is timeless and will live on. (Thursday 9 April 2015; 17:39)

Not an album's worth, but maybe 5 or so plus the demo tape from the debut would be enough for me. I also really hope the album includes AIWFCIY so it is the ultimate hits compilation. New single (51,520) by Abraham from USA I'm so excited for new music. "Infinity" sounds interesting and promising. I hope it's a song everyone will like. Ironically April 27th is my birthday. And regardless if I like the new song or not I'm still going to support Mariah and purchase the new number ones album. I hope the video will be good and up to part with the song. #1's album (51,519) by SM from Citizen of the World I just hope this album will be targeted to sell more in a Target, Walmart, Starbucks so in some retail place because if the new album has 18 #1's and just 1 new song it will be very tough selling the entire album online because "most" people who love M have these songs already so they will not purchase the whole album and only the one new song online. So basically I think it should have special pricing for the album in order to help the sales online and in the store but I hope the lead single is a pow wow in your face jam lol. The contract just ended and it wasn't renewed, it's business. Infinity the new single? Maybe but if it's coming out in April we won't need to wait much longer. Infinity (51,515) by B from USA Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't We Belong Together described as a hybrid of One Sweet Day and Breakdown and the new single is being described as a hybrid of Migrate and Faded. If this is true I think it's an uptempo love song with a huge chorus and an earworm hook. Looks like Mariah is ready to silence her critics and get her throne back. Is she changing up the keys? Will she be singing the 2015 remixed versions? Will there be guest performers? They are really keeping this era under wraps, which is frustrating but I won't complain. It's good that they are building up mystery around this project, dropping just enough hints to get the public intrigued. I hope everything plays out according to plan. (Thursday 9 April 2015; 14:36)

All this while I was whining about when we'll get the new single, but now that we have the date, I just can't wait. I need to hear it, I need to see the video. MC you are killing me here woman. I am getting a feeling that this song will be awesome (although Mariah has rarely, if ever disappointed me with her music) and that this might really be the comeback MC needs. All the recent changes being made in her camp is making me feel positive. Now I just hope they get the publicity right and most importantly, I hope MC nails the vocals at Vegas right. Although I was excited the whole process felt tense, this is completely the opposite. Everything seems to be running smoothly, she's hiring a new team (out with the old, in with the new) and she seems detirmined. I do think Island Def kinda lost hope with her. Luckily she didn't lose hope in herself. I think a cameo of Wentworth would be good but not the whole video, I think that might look like they're recycling old ideas. We belong together. Infinity. LA Reid." Yay. Infinity is the new single slated for an April 27th release and it's an uptempo bop. Obviously it's a love song. Throw in JD and Brett and it's the same recipe that made WBT song of the decade. Are you guys so excited? I'm excited. I wonder if it's literally the musical sequel? Wouldn't it be awesome if Wentworth Miller was playing her love interest in the video again? Also, Welcome aboard Chris Chambers, your resume in music speaks to me. Now, hustle. OK now I'm convinced (51,509) by nikki from usa This is going to be a rant, so sensitive souls might want to skip. J.Lo sang live on AI without a hiccup. A fan uploaded her first and second take, proving that singers really do sing multiple times before a performance is shown. Only AI didn't screw it up this time. Sure, 90% was chorus drowning her voice out in playback, but she got great reviews. She did a good job with the imagery. I'll give props there. But, guess what? There's no "live feed" on YouTube or anywhere. Due to what happened with MC in '12 right down to the media saying AI was going to kick MC off mid season and replace her with J.Lo, and trying to pin the poor ratings on her, I think it was staged. She was set up. In Mottola's book he was asked about MC yet turned it into praise for J.Lo. In 2013, Jen brought up how MC was mean to her in 2001. Then, made that sour grapes remark about the residency this year. I do think Mottola pulled some behind the scenes garbage due to the deja vu the first time this happened with Glitter. But, again deja vu, the only reason this was able to be pulled off was because MC didn't have a proper team in place to avoid it. I'm glad Mariah's getting rid of the old and ushering in the new. Now, lets deja vu TEOM. I may be the only one, but I would love for MC to sing If We and Lead The Way live. There's a lot of good music that should be heard. (Thursday 9 April 2015; 9:57)

She hasn't made any publicity, spun stories, cleared the air, or even made simple statements on Mariah's behalf in 3 years. Thank goodness she was able to contact Page Six, a gossip column, to let everyone know she dropped Mariah. Interestingly enough, Mariah already has new representation. This is a first. In the past when a manager went bye bye Mariah was left to fend for herself for awhile until she had a replacement. Someone other than Cindi has been making statements for MC over the past couple of months and recently started making headlines on local media. Officially, Mariah is now represented by The Chambers Group. They are all over social media and describe themselves as: ideas and insight across media, film, music and brands. But anyways, we have a date. April 27th. Oh gosh, I can't wait. But I read she's heading over to Vegas next week for rehearsals so I don't know when she'll promote it. As for Cindi Berger's departure, I wouldn't be too worried about it. In fact I am glad that things are being shaken up a bit in the Carey camp because she had the same people around her for a very long time and it's apparent that none of them knew how to handle Mariah anymore. I think L A Reid is pushing Mariah to start over with a new team and it's a good thing. She's already hired a new management team. Anyways, I can't wait for the new single. Infinity (51,506) by Emma from United States A bit over a week ago in the Mariah base on UKMix someone claimed the title of the single that was going to be released to promote the #1s re-release was titled "Infinity", they also said they were a music industry executive and that was how they knew. Fast forward and today Mariah included "Infinity" in one of her tweets although it had nothing to do with the rest of the tweet. It's no confirmation or anything but maybe that really is the title of the song? (Thursday 9 April 2015; 8:20)

Mariah's IG pictures and Uptown Funk (51,505) by Ethan from United States It looks great and promising with Mariah's IG picture with LA Reid in front of the Sony sign. And perhaps she's with a new PR group (see her tag). In addition, it looks like Uptown Funk might break One Sweet Day's record since it has the support from the First Lady in her 5th anniversary Let's Move Campaign. All other singles right now probably won't take it down. Rihanna's recent singles kind of flopped and perhaps Madonna's or a new Taylor Swift's single can take it down. Uptown Funk is a great single/song but I didn't expect to be that great and be on chart for that long. I hope it reaches 15th week and got taken down. (Thursday 9 April 2015; 6:47)

Lets hope for the best. I do think that Mariah needs a young and eager team that will work to get her to the top. She needs a team that will inject energy and fresh and innovative ideas. (51,500) by LC from USA A couple weeks ago, I saw an ATRL post of someone who said that according to a label executive, Mariah's new single would be an uptempo track named Infinity, and it would be released on April 27. Just a few moments ago, Mariah posted a picture on all her social media accounts of her with LA Reid and a person from her new PR team "The Chamber Group" next to a Sony sign, captioned #WeBelongTogether #Infinity. Promo (51,498) by B from USA Mariah is on the cover of Vegas Player Magazine and she made the announcement on Ellen. I think the plan is to promote the residency and new single/video simultaneously. Makes sense since the single will be used to promote the reissue of #1's. It is also a great way to get Mariah's name back in the public gnat like attention span. Likely ticket sales are ahead of projections/predictions and M and Caesars are waiting until this single drops to start the blitz. (Thursday 9 April 2015; 2:57)
