If so what image did the fold out poster have from the shoot? Also anyone knows whether the Island DefJam box set of Mariah contains the Platinum or regular Emancipation CD? Mariah (47,842) by B from USA Mariah is touring to strengthen her voice and is obviously working out. Why else would she do these things besides to look and sound good. She's reconnecting with her fan base and gearing up to release a new album or rerelease MIAMTEC. She's still a force to be reckoned with. Only Taylor Swift has went platinum this year. MIAM sold 100,000 with no promo. #Beautiful has sold more copies than any album released this year. The ARIA needs to change their methods for awarding gold, platinum, and multiplatinum certifications because selling 100,000 nowadays is the same thing as going gold, especially when the best selling album of the year barely sold two million copies/units. Mariah did only one interview and concert on The Today Show and during her interview she basically said she was having problems with Nick. That interview and the lyrics to songs like Thirsty and Camouflage made it clear Mariah was about to divorce Nick. (Friday 7 November 2014; 15:30)

Have you not been watching the videos that lambs are posting of Mariah singing live and slaying? I think the same thing. She's strengthening her voice, exercising her voice and body, getting in fighting shape and she'll be ready to promote her next record like her life depends on it. Checking from other ticket sellers, there still seems to be tickets available. I don't think she'll have much problem selling out the four shows, if she hasn't already. Beacon Theater is not that big of a venue, just 2,894 capacity, very intimate. She won't need big screens. (Thursday 6 November 2014; 20:46)

Wendy Williams and The Talk are a few. It was unanimous from the beginning that all of them said no. If Mariah doesn't promote or the label doesn't promote, the people won't respond. I remember during the release of MOAIA and MCIIY, Mariah had radio banners on her website for fans to put on social media because people were not getting the word of new music on radio from her. Honestly I feel for most lambs on her direction. Good news for all of us is Mariah still sells with proper promotion. All she needs is a new label. I am very confident she will not sign back with Def Jam. I wouldn't. Given the current state of music industry Mariah has still sold 28,000,000 albums and 15,000,000 singles worldwide with Island plus Def Jam (excluding her back catalouge) for 6 albums. Carol / support (47,827) by Edward from USA Carol, fans from the US bought MIAMTEC, some even bought multiple copies. Has it occurred to you that her fanbase in the US has shrunk considerably? Is it viable to tour the US with such low album sales? No, it isn't. Does it mean that her remaining fans didn't support her? No, it doesn't. We supported her, but we cannot be responsible for those fans who jumped ship and are not longer her fans. Those who abandoned her are not the ones wanting to see her in concert, believe me. Another thing, when it comes to making an artist/album successful, fans are just a small part of the equation. If the album is not connecting with the GP or promoted, for whatever reason, it is a wrap. It could be the best album in the world, but it takes more than great music to move copies. I think she'll release it sometime in the summer. Or maybe sooner. Any thoughts? I know she has some good music on the way. I think the album will be another "TEOM". Now that she's singing live again, that's one less problem out of the way. Next will be to release good singles. One thing I'm looking forward to Christmas is seeing Mariah on tv. However, Mariah's never sold millions here because her "lambs" buy multiple copies, it's because the general public does as well. As I've previously stated, we've bought millions of her albums in the past but were jipped on tours nonetheless. Mariah's always been given credit for her accomplishments. You seem to be confusing gossip with credible sources which are vastly becoming non-existent on a worldwide basis. Even CNN is starting to repeat tabloids. Less talented artists aren't given "credit" as much as they are simply gossiped about. No artist in America has gone platinum in 2014. We still bought more copies than Australia did, but America is far larger. None of this changes the fact that Mariah pushed her album back 2 years and didn't promote it. Her label didn't advertise and that's not going to grab the general public. On New Year's eve Mariah told us May 6th would be the release and then pushed it back another 3 weeks right before release. "Faith" isn't going to bring the masses to the arenas here on an album she didn't bother to promote. America needs visuals for appeal and has a short attention span. If MC doesn't want to promote than it's only logical that she moves on to the next project. So far, that appears to be what she's doing with Christmas. (Thursday 6 November 2014; 4:06)

I don't think US appreciates Mariah anymore. You guys preach but you don't walk the walk. I'm sorry for being blunt but like I said Big Jim is right. Promote, support more if you want the tour. Besides, the lack of faith you're showing doesn't help. America seems to forget she has nothing to prove and she just enjoy her achievements and this tour for the fans. America demands too much of her and give credit to weaker arists. Funny how you guys ask for new material, when you don't support anything she does.
