JJ and front row seats (49,318) by John john from UK
Every time I've seen Mariah I've been front row. Booked through HBF site, but this time I booked through Caesars presale axs.com and I'm practical sat on the stage. So I would give them a try. What date do you want? Do you want me to look for you?

B, #1s Vegas' era (49,315) by Stacey from USA
B, I sent you the song. Hopefully it's what you are hoping for. Enjoy. I think a new song to promote this era in Vegas is a must. When the original #1s was released, she did a cover of I Still Believe with remixes and all. It gave her a song to use to promote the album, do all the talk shows, etc. When Celine Dion started her Vegas stint, she did an entire album full of new songs. She still, though, had a single I Drove All Night to promote the new album and Vegas show. It just makes sense to me to do that. Shoot, when Celine Dion released her Decade Of Song compilation album with new songs, she promoted the album with a new single That's The Way It Is. The updated #1s album has got to contain 25 tracks. It is her 25th anniversary in the biz. I can't wait to see what MC has up her sleeve.

How do I get front row for Vegas? (49,314) by JJ from Good Times from USA
I've been to 5 Mariah concerts in my life, 2 in Vegas and 3 in Houston. And I can never get even close to front row. I thought that with these many shows I would luck out. But the closest is row LL. Any suggestions? And I don't believe in the Honey B. Fly VIP stuff, I bought 2 for Vegas in 2006 and the seats sacked.

Sing live and sing well (49,313) by 123 from USA
I'm so excited for this new project. People have mentioned that she needs to change her look, her sound, her personality, but I firmly believe that those things are all secondary and not what will make or break her career. It all boils down to her voice. She needs to sing live again, and sing well. Remind people why we fell in love with her in the first place. Last year we saw her voice in the worst condition it had ever been, her ducking and dodging the high belts in her songs became more apparent and audio mishaps start to become more common and exposed this. I for one, was glad that the "isolated vocals" on the Christmas performance were put out there. I believe it lit a fire under her and she new that she had to bring it and prove that she could still sing outside the studio. Everyone that attended the Christmas performances, even fans that no longer believed she could sing said that even though she lipped, the live vocals in the show were very impressive. I was also shocked to see her belt and sound like 96. If she sings live and sings well, has great material and good promo, we will see her on top again.

Vegas / duets (49,312) by Trish from USA
I'm so excited to see Mariah in Vegas. This will be my 3rd time seeing her live, and I can't wait. I've never heard some of the earlier #1s live (in person) and I'm looking forward to hearing Love Takes Time and I Don't Want to Cry. I'd also die if Boyz II Men are actually there to sing One Sweet Day with her, I wonder if she'd do the Acapella version. Lol, I'd die twice. I'm not all that hot on a duet album, unless we get new duets, with new vocals. Lots of times I am disappointed by the extra tracks she choses for her albums because I already have them (example: the live version of O Holy Night on MCIIY, I've had it for years). I already have all of her earlier duets, and I don't really want to hear classic Mariah songs sung by anyone else but Mariah. That said there are so many beautiful songs in the world that I'd love to hear Mariah sing. A studio duet of You And I with Stevie Wonder would be perfect.

Fifth Harmony (49,309) by Darryle from USA
I think Mariah should embrace Fifth Harmony. They clearly are true fans that are inspired by her music. They've two of her songs (ATYNAF and AIWFCIY) and they have a track on their new album called Like Mariah. It'd be a great way to get her name out there to the younger audience. It'd also make her look better since she sorta blew the Ariana thing, embracing Fifth Harmony would get rid of the notion that Mariah has a problem with female singers. Maybe they could even open up for Mariah in Vegas.

#1's (49,308) by clueey23 from USA
Okay I am stoked about Vegas. Perfect move, perfect timing, perfection. Did anyone else look at the #1's ranking article and think where is "Can't Let Go"? Now you know I know it's not a #1 but a #2 record but I think I've concluded that it was definitely the one that got away. And dare I say that I actually have a favorite MC song. I was just thinking why am I a fan? I must say that I get consistent change and growth from MC. Even when the world sees her as losing, she seems to always win in my book. It's crazy but I've always said MC is a diva but she seems really down to earth in her own way. She has always come off as very human and sensitive. I can't say that about any other current superstar diva.

"Mariah Carey Live: Her Greatest Live Performances" (49,306) by MC1989 from Spain
My idea to celebrate MC's 25 years in music, and now that she's going back to Sony, is to put out a live compilation (CD+DVD) with some of her greatest performances since 1990. I recently bought "Whitney Houston Live: Her greatest live performances", which features videos from her early days performing on TV, concerts, etc until her death (the DVD includes the When You Believe performance at the Oscars with Mariah). I think Mariah deserves to have a live collection like that, with that material remastered and in good quality for the first time ever. A possible list of performances would be:
1. Vision of love (live at Saturday Night Live, 1990 or live at 1991 Grammy Awards or live at NARM 1990)
2. Love takes time (live at the Apollo Theatre).
3. Vanishing (live at Tatoo Club 1990)
4. Someday (live at MTV Unplugged 1992)
5. I don't wanna cry (live in Japan 1996)
6. Don't play that song (live at Tatoo Club 1990)
7. Emotions (live at MTV VMA 1991)
8. Can't let go (live at wherever, all are great)
9. Make it Happen (live at Madison Square Garden, 1996)
10. If it's over (live at Saturday Night Live, 1992)
11. I'll be there (live at MTV Unplugged, 1992)
12. Dreamlover
13. Hero (live at The Arsenio Hall Show, 1993)
14. Without You (live at Proctor's Theatre, 1993)
15. Anytime You Need A Friend (live at David Letterman Show, 1994)
16. Endless Love (with Luther Vandross live at Royal Albert Hall, 1994)

Diva duet (49,305) by Dove from USA
I love Kelly Clarkson's voice, but Adele is the bigger star and a better writer. If I had to choose, I'd choose Adele.

New songs on #1 (49,304) by Scott from Uk
I'm hoping for just 2 new songs, after all, it is a compilation album of number one hits, not a new studio album. This way, once both songs have been released and become #1 hits, the album will contain just #1's as the title states. A dream colaboration for me would be with Idina Menzel.

#1s CD and Vegas residency (49,302) by Ethan from United States
When I first mentioned about the duets idea, I was only kidding. I don't think it's going to happen but I mentioned it anyway. It's an updated #1s CD so it will include only the 18 #1s in the US and new songs. It's not a greatest hits CD so I don't expect her and her team to include other songs. People will buy the CD for new songs just like they did for the first #1s CD. So we need to support her. However, I'm serious about the idea of dueting with another diva for a new song, probably those that don't have a feud with Mariah like Adele, Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson, and Lady Gaga. Adele has said in an interview that to her, Mariah is the ultimate diva. Would it be cool if they work on a song together? I'm okay with writing a song together only and Mariah can sing it by herself. For the Vegas show, besides the 18 #1s that will be performed, I hope that she will include 4-5 more songs. My ideal list will be FLAB with a choir and she might as well throw in MIH or AYNAF to maximize the choir. She will probably include #Beautiful for sure and I hope she will sing YDKWTD/Metorite to go with the disco/techno segment with dancers in roller blades. Thus, it will be around 23 songs. Oops I forgot about Cry. So 24 songs total. We all know that half of the #1s will be sung in full and the other half will be incorporated into medleys or segments. It's just the way it goes and less of a stretch for her to belt out all the songs in full length. I can't wait till May 24. Vegas here I come.

Duets (49,301) by Bill from the UK
I'm in two minds about a duets album as well. If Mariah re-sang her parts rather than the copy and paste of the Memoirs duets then I'd be alright with it, especially if she changed the songs up to be in keeping with the duetting artist's style. For instance have a song have a more swing/rat pack vibe if Buble joins her, electronic if Gaga etc. That said, I would be happy with an archive duets album: example track list below, probably missing some major ones.
1. I'll be there with Trey
2. Endless love with Luther
3. One sweet day with BIIM
4. Whenever you call with Brian
5. When you believe with Whitney
6. Chain of fools with Aretha
7. Hopelessly devoted with Olivia
8. Stop in the name of love with Diana
9. With you I'm born again with John
10. Against all odds with Westlife
11. Yours with JT (album exclusive)
12. a few other unused Memoirs duets

Duets album (49,300) by Anonymous from
I like the idea of a duets album or maybe like Rod Stewart's Great American Songbook. I want to hear MC singing classic songs like "Moonriver what a wonderful world" etc.

26. Touch my body

Duets (49,297) by Dove from USA
I like the idea of the duets album but not with her biggest hits. I agree with Orkun that it should be obscure album cuts that should have been hits. I want for casual fans to discover new gems in Mariah's catalog and for lambs to rediscover them. I'm putting in my wish list right now of duet partners: Kelly Clarkson, Bruno Mars, and Agh. Maybe I'm reaching too far but I want duets with: Paul McCartney, Robert Plant, Jason Mraz, Fiona Apple, Brian Wilson, and U2. With new songs co-written with Mariah. Just the thought of that. Imagine the new sounds. I know she also needs to include newer artists to get the younger audience, but there could be some legends on there too. Everyone is struggling right now so I think it's a good chance to request experimentation from these big names.

Duets (49,296) by B from USA
I'm torn. I'm looking forward to her residency in Las Vegas and the reissue of #1's. If this duets album is going to work she needs Bruno Mars, Frank Ocean, Miguel, Usher, Justin Timberlake, and Beyoncé. I don't think redoing her songs is a good idea but I don't see her recording an album of covers so I think the duets album is a lie or someone's way of trying to paint MC as a has been that is desperate.

#1's (49,295) by Dove from USA
For the updated #1's, I like the idea of just the studio versions on it for newer listeners who only want a compilation album. Whenever You Call with Brian McKnight can be added as a bonus track to Butterfly and the first #1s can stop being sold. I also want a separate live album of the number #1s later on in the year that comes with a CD of the songs live and a DVD of her performing them. Or maybe all three discs can be sold together for $20.

New single (49,294) by Dove from USA
If there is no single, how are we going to get more #1s? Maybe a single can be released the same day the album is released? Do album sales go towards single sales? I think her singles flopped at her former record label because they weren't too invested in her anymore. #Beautiful, Thirsty, and MILG were all good enough to be, and should have been #1s. Maybe if there is a single, this time it will be heavily promoted on radio and TV with a really good video and live performances. People need to see that she can still sing. Someone can record her singing it live (like a sound check) at the Colosseum and post it on social networking sites. I wish the Ellen interview would have been longer so that people could see how cool, sweet, and funny she is. We need some TV specials.

No single (49,293) by NHYTG from nyc
I think the new version of #1's should be promoted as a whole, even if it includes new music. I don't think it's a good idea to release a single first, another underperforming single will be a terrible start for this new era. I like the idea of releasing #1's Live in Las Vegas, I hope #1's will be successful enough to be followed up by a live-album/dvd.

New songs (49,291) by Darryle from USA
I hope those new songs will actually be on the album. Save The Day is the song Mariah said sounds like Joni Mitchell on steroids. I've always wondered what it could sound like.
