I bet IDJ works overtime to ensure this project is a success now that Rhianna has left to join ROC Nation. Mariah is an amazing singer but she's also a very talented songwriter and I bet she's spent the last few months coming up with an undeniable smash that she'll hopefully perform on David Letterman. I think Mariah and Letterman have good chemistry, and whilst he plays with her diva image, he knows when to get serious. It will be a good platform to discuss the album, I hope. The appearances / single (43,305) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter So Mariah doesn't have a single ready in time for her letterman appearance. I do hope she has one for the Today show concert atleast. Otherwise all these appearances would not be of much use. Had she released the album right after #Beautiful, it would have gotten a lot of attention as the song was completely fresh. But like it or not her latest singles didn't do well in the charts (although I personally loved them) so to kind of relaunch the album, she really needs a new single. What can she possibly talk about in the Letterman interview that we didn't hear of already? I hope she performs new songs on the Today show concert, I really want this album to do well. In the MC hood (43,301) by Me. I am Carly from USA I wanted something for the lambs on this kinda underwhelming May 6th so I did a tour of Mariah's neighborhood and took some pictures today. I have loaded them on my Facebook page "Church of Mariah". Sadly I didn't see MC but got some fun pics of her area for lambs that don't have the luxury of seeing it in person. To all those who were hating on the fact that she was disappearing, I am sure she waited till the very last moment to begin promoting. After all in this day in age of social media where everything has to be instant gratifation, she wanted her news to be fresh in people's minds, not three months stale. Glad to see that May is essentially Mariah month, and now with the Fuse takeover tomorrow and the David Letterman appearance later she is making her presence known again. I can't wait for the album. I know she didn't for his White people party music album, but come on. His wife is Mariah Carey and this is her first album since his children were born. Why isn't he proud or promoting it? I hope she does it justice and has those big drums like in George's. The only thing I don't want is finger snaps like on "I want to know what love is" as I think it ruined that song for me. My opinion (43,295) by Anonymous from 1. I don't like the new album's tittle. It's a boring trend and it's ridiculous. You have this is who I am, I am, the way I am, the real me, etc etc. In the last decade Mariah disappoints me with her creativity about album's tittles. 2. Adding 2 songs/remixes from your last album is like saying I don't have good songs enough for this album so I'm going to bring back those songs I recorded. I mean she's been working like 4 years in this album and she's doing that? That speaks a lot. 3. She needs to stop hiring close friends as a work team. Hire professionals who guides you to do the things right or in a better way, not saying yes to everything you want. 4. I'm sure that the new album will have good songs but the problem is that she overshadows her music with her image, so better sing and stop talking like a diva, dahling. (Wednesday 7 May 2014; 3:57)

Even if it's not a huge blockbuster album I don't think one album can devastate an artist of Mariah's caliber. I just want good songs. With well written lyrics, Mariah's signature vocals, and a wall of Mariah's singing the background vocals.
