Mariah and lyrics (48,005) by Darryle from USA I love Mariah's lyrics. I think she's one of the greatest lyricist of all time, but does anyone else wish she would tackle more socially conscious lyrics. She's done it before. I really just want more songs like There's Got To Be A Way, Outside, Petals, The Wind, FLAB, Twister etc. Songs that don't deal with love or breakups. Songs that deal with whats going on in the state of the world today. I want her to write about topics like race and poverty. I know she's got an opinion on it so why not share? When will these bishes learn not to come for Mariah for no reason? It never works out in their favour. Ever. The Wendy Williams' buttkissers should let her know that. Her audience is something out of "The Wave", they never question any of her contradictory reporting. I guess it helps when you have the collective memory of a single goldfish. Wendy's transparent lies (48,003) by Isabelle from USA You know Wendy be lying when she said Mariah Carey wanted to do her show. Isn't odd that she announces it the week when Andy revealed about it in his book. Wendy would have said something about it long time ago then. And why would Mariah want to go to her show for the first place? To promote what? Mariah's album previous release date would have been during when Wendy's show would be on its summer break. Plus was she planning on promoting something she would have ended up going to Michael and Kelly, The View or The Talk are really supportive towards Mariah. Wendy Williams / divadom (48,002) by Lee TS from USA Wendy has a love/hate relationship with Mariah and it's so fickled. Wendy is my guilty pleasure and she does get really messy but that's what makes it entertaining. Besides the seating arrangement (which we all know is not true because Mariah's side is her right), Wendy actually stood up for Mariah on her hot topics today. She said Mariah can sing better than most on her worst day, looks good even with the weight gain, and will do fine without Nick. She even threw in Mariah's infamous "I don't know her" shade when talking about Aretha. Now, I love MC with all my heart but I wish she would tone down her diva antics just a bit. I can't even say she likes to play up the image for the public anymore. Prime example would be the Breakfast Club interview, she was team too much. I was referring to the girl who was supposed to be the opening act for one of her shows this year. She went straight to media and was telling everyone Mariah didn't want her because she was a female. Nathaniel was the official opening act and the organizers were going to have her open for him then called her the day of to demote her from the stage. They claimed Mariah didn't want her for being a female which was a sleazy scapegoat. The girl thinks her idol rejected her. This was the same show where Mariah had to cut down her own show by removing her medley due to "time restraints". LC, I completely agree with you. I seriously doubt that's the reason her appearance fell through. I heard a rumor that she was going to go on Wendy, but cancelled when a more popular show requested her presence. You know if Wendy did anything that made MC change her mind, she would never tell us anyway. She doesn't display herself in a bad light, just everyone else. In any case, Wendy was the one that wanted MC on and not the other way around. If Mariah agreed to come on after a decade of "no" and said I'll do it if you let me sit in your chair, but Wendy rejected that than she should stop complaining that MC won't visit her. It made me smile and simultaneously brought tears to my eyes. It testifies to how music can be such a powerfully healing entity in this world. I'm sending this little baby-lamb all the love and hope I have in my heart for a full recovery. You make me laugh. First of all, Wendy said that Mariah only wanted to show her left or "good" side, and wanted to make Wendy move. Let's get a few things straight. If you've been a lamb for even a few years, or if you do a simple Google search, you'll see that Mariah is always photographed from her right side. You know how I know? It's the side without the beauty mark. Duh. So, obviously that was a lie. And continuing on that, why would Mariah make Wendy, the host, switch if the host always sits on the left, and Mariah, the guest, always sits on the right? Wendy Williams rejected MC's bid to come on her show last year (47,991) by ADAM from USA Wendy revealed today on Hot Topics today that Mariah wanted to come on her show last year and the deal fell threw because Mariah requested to be filmed on her left side (like WWHL with Andy Cohen) and have Wendy switch seats with her as a result. Wendy said that wasn't happening and that it was her show and that it was just weird. I totally agree with Wendy's stance and support her decision to not oblige to a a silly request. When Mariah came on WWHL the whole vibe was weird and off seeing Andy in a reversed position with Mariah. She looked so foolish checking the monitors and her hair throughout the show. I think more shows should follow her lead and not cater to these foolish demands. It's a TV show. Go on and have fun and enjoy the Q&A with the hosts and fans. I really thought WWHL would have been much more fun if she wasn't so insecure with her behavior and shadiness. Mariah has earned the right to decide when and when not to be asked questions about other female artists. Notice I don't use the word singer as that term is used as loosely as diva these days. It's not Mariah's problem if other female artists wants to talk about her indiscriminately. Mariah's team has seen Andy's show, as she herself has, I'm sure. WWHL is a complete and total messfest if any of you don't know. MC kept it classy as always but still delivered with her classic Eminem shade. Lol. That moment has been gifed and hung up on the Shade Hall of Fame just like "I don't know her". What more do people want? I know there were rumors that they dated and he was going to publish a book and talk about his time with Mariah. She actually filed some kind of cease and desist. Re: G.G. / Andy Cohen (47,984) by nikki from usa I read that article a few times, because these days writers are really scrapping to make stories by making mountains out of mole hills and stretching the truth. The only part of the article where MC was actually mentioned was the tardiness and lighting requirement. I don't know that these are "demands". She asked for his chair, she didn't threaten to walk out for not getting her way. She doesn't want to look like the Crypt Creeper, I'd say that's practical. When they talk about the "do not mention" list, they never specifically referenced Mariah. They began talking about her in the next paragraph. If it is her, I can see why. J.Lo has been talking about MC a lot and it looks like a ploy to bring up more beef or start a new one. It makes sense that MC would try to avoid it. She went the extra length to say "no females" instead of singling one out in particular. It may look bad, but I think it's important to keep the focus on her music instead of "rivals". Think about it. Over the years J.Lo, Nicki, and this Aussie girl are all giving Mariah a good reason to skip on the ladies. All these girls are interested in is cat fighting and getting their names out at MC's expense. This is probably why MC prefers the guys. (Thursday 20 November 2014; 19:43)

The last two albums have been a let down. Rhianna is coming out soon and I pray she does not pass Mariah's record because that will be a travesty. Speechless after this "Heartbreaker" re-make (47,981) by M from UK Io Echo just released this alternative cover of "Heartbreaker". Really shows how versatile Mariah's songwriting is. Confused (47,980) by Jon from Netherlands I love this interview. Mariah's singing and speaking voice are equally mesmerizing. In this interview we have the real Mariah: goofy, divalish, melodramatic and most of all hilarious. She has the people in the studio cracking up. The moments about Nick have me confused. Thirsty was already done and part of the album but she still says "I love you Nick" and means it. There are a lot of hints that things could be wrong in the marriage but it actually feels like just two adult persons that have their disagreements but still love each other. What to make of all of this? How could she be putting a song like Thirsty out there? Did they have a pact? You talk about our sex life and private things and I'll write songs that humiliate you. What about the fact that she says "Nick creates the rumours"? Could Mariah be smiling to pretend things were still ok and it was worth to give it another try or was she lying to herself and not accepting it was almost over? Was this just public bickering? It just doesn't make sense to me because it really feels like she believes in the marriage but then she says (partially as a joke) "he should have married someone else", "I hope Nick is listening", "I would prefer to have some decorum", "Nick is with the dembabies while they are fun then back to the crib", "he's not even gonna be home", and has a song like Betcha Gon Know remix in the album (clearly included because of Nick).
