Album rumors (38,916) by Stacey from USA
Good call, Stephen. Album rumors drive me nuts because so many fly around the news when a new album is in the works. Like you, I'll wait until MC or her teams confirms such news. This waiting is driving me nuts, though. I better have some new MC music when this baby comes in November. You hear me, Mariah? Hehe.

Tracklist good call, Stephen (38,915) by Deedre aka MiTodoChop @HBF from Canada
In my excitement to see something that might suggest the album was close, I forgot that fake stuff comes out too. This one feels legit, but time will tell.

Re: Tracklisting / Stephen (38,914) by TJ from USA
I agree with you 100%. I also don't think Mariah would make us wait 3 more months for TAOLG. If so, then releasing #Beautiful (and its subsequent remixes) was a terrible idea this early. Something tells me we'll get a new single soon (Wale) as she did with #Beautiful and then she'll let us know when her "Art" is ready.

Traclisting (38,913) by George Golden from UK
I hope this is the correct track listing after the album release date changed. It looks promising, more album cuts than singles. Perfect. I hope it's not November, because it's been too long men. Lol.

Track list (38,912) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
I'm not going to pay any attention to the track list until Mariah or her team confirms what the actual track list is. I remember a fake track listing coming out before most Mariah albums, usually all incorrect. The only thing I will state with regards to this is that some of the tracks have previously been mentioned, such as Hope Street, so as Randy suggested, it may have been the original track list, before the album got pushed back. In any event, it could be totally false, who knows? Until it's been confirmed, I refuse to comment any further.

Re: MC and Hip Hop / TJ (38,911) by Paul from USA
Well, she been hip hop since "Butterfly" (an album, I love nonetheless). Me and George Golden are just "old guard" Mariah fans. Lol.

Track list (38,910) by Will from England
It probably isn't real. I don't see how any of the songs reflect what Mariah has been talking about (ie raw ballads etc.) or the title. "Mr Operator" doesn't sound like the raw, deep ballad that one might expect from Mariah. Keep in mind that the article said "rumoured", not confirmed. The only legit and confirmed track is #Beautiful lol. The same thing happened with MOAIA, I believe one of the rumoured tracks was titled "Angels in My Backyard" or something to that effect lol.

I'm a noob here (38,909) by Paul from USA
Huge Mariah fan since the 90's. I stuck by her, even though she disappointed me for most of the 2000's. Great site. Re: Glitter / Joachim: Yeah, I noticed that, too. Maybe it has something to do with the record label not wanting it on Spotify. Also it's the soundtrack of a film that even the most fanatical Mariah fan hated. I just like to pretend and live life like it never happened. Glitter, what? Re: The Art of Letting Go / Will: I absolutely concur, Will. My expectations are low. I don't want to get my hopes up. I expect enjoying half the album (I'm being a bit generous) and not listening to the other half again, like all of her albums in the 2000's (yes, even the loved TEOM). If you're expecting a "Daydream", you're living in a fantasy, baby (no pun intended). That's her magnum opus. I don't think she top that amazing album. If the throwback "#Beautiful" (nevermind the tacky MV and name) is any indication on how the whole album will be like, plus the fact Walter A. is involved and TAOLG is apparently inspired by her "Emotions" album, I'm more hopeful than usual. Re: Collaborations / George Golden: Wow, great minds think alike. Stick to pop/r&b ballads and uptempos, Mariah. Her hip-hop experimentation in late 90's were alright ("The Roof" was a superb track). She should've stopped a long time ago, IMO. But if she wants to continue this hip-hop route, more power to her.

MC and Hip Hop (38,908) by TJ from USA
Mariah has always been hip hop and always wanted to collaborate with artists in the hip hop community. Mariah herself rebelled against the label packaging her as "the ballad queen". Now, I have been a fan of Mariah's since time began and I love her ballads as much as the next fan, but I don't think she should stop collabarating with rappers. After all, it is a music trend she herself started with the Fantasy remix featuring O.D.B. (which her label was against at the time). Some of her collabos have been hits and others not so much, but I applaud and admire her for trying it. I am looking forward to TAOLG and its subsequent hip hop collabos, be they remix or single, because as long as she's not a guest star on her own song (Trimphant) or not even bothering with an actual hip hop remix(#Beautiful ft A$AP Rocky), it's gonna be awesome (#Beautiful ft Jeezy).

The Art of Media Bleakness (38,907) by TJ from USA
Reports suggest that MC won't unleash her "Art" until November. I call shenanigans especially when #Beautiful is a SGSHW and MC knows that pushing her music that far back would not be a good look. I'm gonna wait for her official announcement regarding the new release date and just be patient. Although I must admit, it is getting really, really difficult to wait for the new jams.

Re: Austin (38,906) by nikki from usa
You have to be kidding. After the success of Obsessed, I was banging my head against the wall for her releasing HATEU as the follow-up single. It's cute, but not radio friendly. The sound would be great for AC, but the lyrics aren't. Vice versa for the Pop/Mainstream world. Standing O or More Than Just Friends were solid single material. Standing O was the heart-wrenching ballad type Mariah's known for. It was like Toni Braxton's Un-break My Heart humped Mariah's Heartbreaker and birthed that song. More Than Just Friends has that laid back vibe that Touch My Body had only the lyrics are so much feistier. I could easily see those two hitting the top 20 of Billboard to say the least.

I don't believe a lot of this (38,905) by Randy from USA
I don't believe that's the tracklisting. I don't believe that's the album cover. It's no official word from MC and I think that what we're getting may be the album as it was before the delay.

The Art of Letting Go track list (38,904) by clueey23 from USA
Yes. I'm so excited about this album, if there is any truth to this track list. Stevie Wonder and R.Kelly. Production from Walter A. I think this will be one of the best that we've heard and will surpass "TEOM" and "E=MC2" in terms of sound. This sounds like it's going to be a very mature, grown album. Not to say that MC hasn't made mature R&B, but this is beyond my original expectations. I'm ear to ear about this track listing. I hope it's true and I can't wait for the next single. Also enjoyed the Billboard recognition of MCs accomplishments within the charts. "So successful, yet still so eager." I can feel the growth already, and that's all I ever ask of MC is growth. I wouldn't care if this album peaked at #10 and she never had another #1 hit, because I've gotten tired of Mariah trying to cater to top 40 and holding back on growth. Although "Memoirs" is like her least selling album and she really didn't have a hit besides "Obsessed", that was a grown album. A real album that a grown person that had been through something could relate to ie; "Betcha gon know" and "Languishing" and "It's a wrap" and "Inseparable".

Rappers (38,903) by Licia from USA
Throughout her career I have enjoyed a good majority of her rap collabos. Triumphant is the only one I didn't care for. Honestly, as much as I love her ballads, I would take a hip hop mix over a ballad any day. It will be interesting to see where her and Wale take their music. He's one of the hottest rappers out right now. Love it or hate it, if she wants to have a rapper on there, then she is going to do it. Lets at least hear the song first before we disown her for doing something she as done since 1996 lol.

Track listing / Will (38,902) by Licia from USA
I really hope that is the real track listing. I'm excited to hear what they came up with. Will, I get what you are saying. They will either get mad because it's not a replica of Daydream or they will be upset because it won't have Daydream vocals. It's totally unrealistic. I personally don't want another Daydream or another one of any of her old albums. I just want a good album.

Special K / album tracklisting (38,900) by Deedre aka MiTodoChop @HBF from Canada
Thanks for the head rolls and the fingersnap, girl. Lol. So, now that the track list is out, can the album be far behind? *Still salivating over here* lol.

A word of caution (38,899) by Will from England
I've been seeing a lot of messages/tweets/Facebook posts about what lambs are expecting from this album, such as wanting another Daydream or TEOM album etc. and I understand that. I would just like to put a word of caution forward about what to expect, ie, lower their expectations for the album. I'm slightly worried that if everyone has such very high expectations for the album, anything less and people would be disappointed and may not receive the album well. I am excited for the album, and what Mariah has to offer, but I just feel that it's the wrong move to expect so much for something that hasn't been released yet. The same goes for future singles. For me, I'm expecting a good album, but nothing spectacular, so that anything more will be a great surprise for me. Did that make any sense or am I just plain crazy lol?

Wake collaboration (38,895) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
Mariah has collaborated with Wale on a new track. He's exactly the kind of rapper Mariah should be working with if she insists on collaborating with rappers. I do hope Mariah is careful with the creative direction of tracks like this. It seems the public and a lot of Mariah fans don't want more hip hop collaborations from Mariah. However, if it turns out like Breakdown, or The Roof remix, then I won't be mad at all lol. Lotus Flower Bomb was a jam and a half.

Collaborations (38,894) by George Golden from UK
O no please, no more collaborations. Why o my Lord, what is going on with Mariah? She is ruining her legacy with all this hip hop collaborations, it's getting really tired and old. Where are the songs, ballads and uptempos that are free of rap? She is starting to loose me as a fan and I can say I used to live and breath Mariah. Someone is really hurting this woman, making her believe all is well with the path she is taking. Mariah has lost her way. Only God can help us now. Put out a solid pop album and it will sell. She has the voice to die for, why is she bent on collaborating with every rapper there is? We get it, you are part black, please leave this hip hip nonsense that has taken over your creativity.

Thanks / Special K (38,893) by Stacey from USA
Thanks everyone. The hubs and I are happy to add this final piece to our family. K, I'd be done too if my kids were a year apart. Over Christmas I thought about being done, but couldn't shake that feeling there was one more. Of course I get pregnant first time out of the gate so I think that's more of a reason it was meant to be. MC better get it together so I have some music to listen to while feeding the baby, lol.

New collaboration (38,892) by clueey23 from USA
"Mariah x Wale x JD = coming soon." I'm excited. Wale has one of the best albums out this summer, along with J.Cole. Lets hope that JD has come up with something that doesn't remind us of anything from "Mimi" or 'E=MC2". I'm just saying that mid tempo and those chords from "WBT" are classic but tired.

Angels advocate (38,890) by Austin from USA
I'm still pissed at Def Jam for canceling the Nigel's Advocate album. I know a few of those songs are online, and the dance remix album was great, but I'm dying to hear the Mary J Blige remix of It's A Wrap. Mimi has too much star power to be so controlled by a label. Memoirs was a perfect RnB album. Although I agree that there wasn't a great single on the album, it should've been promoted properly.
