That would be a cool collabo. I like Miguel and his album, though I haven't heard the new track yet. Even though he's not techno, as you mentioned, I still think his music and style is creative and different.

Mariah 2013 (36,017)

I really wish Mariah would collab at least in writing with R&B singer Miguel. He has a very cool sound, very anti-techno, but relevant and I love what he's been putting out lately. A track or two with these two co-writing could be pretty cool.

Triumphant now on iTunes lambs (36,016)
by Mariah Christmas from Long Island NY
| |
|
|
Let's all support Mariah Carey Triumphant (Get'em). I feel Mariah should be number one on the R&B Charts with this song and Mariah should earn her 16th No. 1 Dance/Club Play song. But I don't feel like this song is a Billboard Hot 100 hit single. We all have different opinions and that's great. I feel why Mariah has released three different version of triumphant so we lambs can and all enjoy something, but the original version of Triumphant is a classic for me. Let's support lambs and make her number one on the dance/club play song. Triumphant is the hit of the summer. I feel it something fresh from Mariah Carey and like she has never done in the past, There's no hate from me. Like Mariah says it, it's alright to take a back seat sometimes. The lyrics were perfect and the voice is right were it need to be. I love the song. I can not stop listening to the single. Thanks mcarchives.com for letting me comment here. Have a great day lambs around the world.

In iTunes it must've been hidden. I bought both dance versions. Make an edited version of the original with only the rapper on the second verse and I'll buy that one. Lol.

I'm staying out of the whole "Triumphant" topic as I think enough has been said by everyone else. I've learned that talking less is saying more. Looking forward to the new album this coming Spring (or Summer or Fall, lol). I've just registered with MCA and I have to say that you have really done some cool stuff with the site Eric. I think MCA is, and always will be, the best site for the fans and the Lambs to come together as one big Lambily. I know I've been a thorn in everyone's side at times, but I've always been one of MCA's biggest supporters. I look forward to many years ahead getting booed and hissed and praised and loved by my fellow fans and Lambs, and by you too Eric, lol. Enjoy the day everyone. P.S. Gotta make a smiley Lamb emoticon.

Tomorrow - Lambily takes over? (36,010)
by M from USA
| |
|
|
OK Lambily, let's treat tomorrow like the official download day. I think the most amazing thing that could happen would be Lambily downloads the vintage throwback and gets it to #1 on iTunes. This would take approx 250K downloads to do so and then radio will have no choice but to play the shit outta this amazing mix. You all with me? Anyone who has doubted this song from the original, tell them classic MC is on this mix. No rap, what? Just MC singing her ass off like we all know and love. This is the real opportunity as lambs. Tomorrow download the remixes EP. I know I will. "You will always be the only one" - MC forever!

Guys and gals, why are you sleeping? Although Mariah's album is not out until 2013, her single "Triumphant" has already been released to radio. And I'm talking about Triumphant Pulse Club Remix, this has massive potential to conquer the charts. The sound is current and her vocals are incredible. It deserves mass exposure, request, call, and tweet about it to Radio stations. Kiss 100 fm - 64100 (text) Capital Fm - 83958

Personally Spring seems like forever, but it will be here before we know it. I would perfer quality over quantity. I know that MC can still win and win big if she plays her cards right. I just want our girl to focus and believe in her talents once again. Good day to all.

Triumphant (36,004)
by Jenny from USA

I think Triumphant will eventually do pretty well. Once it officially impacts radio this week, I think it'll really take off, especially with the help of the remixes. All in all, I'm happy Mariah gave us a new song to shut us up for a little while she finishes what will be the most a+mazing album she's done in a while.

Mariah's management (36,003)
by Badr from USA
| |
|
|
I really don't quite understand the decisions made by Mariah's management team, from which I perceive inexperience. They make rushed decisions, backed up by their idea of how things should be done. Except for TEOM, Mariah's Island Def Jam projects have been poorly exploited and managed. When “Through the Rain” failed to become a “hit” in the U.S., they changed their mind at the last minute and dropped any plans to release “The One” over a more “radio-friendly” track (“Boy”). They clearly didn't know who Mariah was targeting at that point. Then, E=MC2 became a major commercial disappointment, if we consider the potential this album had. It's become a cliché now but, yes, “Migrate” should've been a single; the single choice was just bad. Remember that Memoirs Of… remix album (aka Angels Advocate)? Mariah actually had a bunch of artists record in the studio, and the label even set a release date. In the end, the album was cancelled, also at the last minute. Now, they release “Triumphant”, a song that left a vast number of fans unsatisfied. Simple research could've uncovered the flaws of this song. What's next? They release an alleged first single 7 months prior to the release of the actual album. Mariah is, in my humble opinion, surrounded by people whose inexperience can harm her career.

New album (36,002)
by Dav from Ireland

I knew from the second she signed with Idol, that they would hold the album back to take advantage of the viewers. Clever move. Will be a big sales album I reckon. Plus maybe a rethink in the direction after Triumphant, maybe a move back into Pop/ R&B, instead of R&B/ Urban? I just want big vocals and heart moving moments.

This always happens. Triumphant is growing on me. And I'm not talking about the remixes. Still, it's a commercial bomb. And Mariah could have done so much better. I am all for pushing back the release of the album, if it means better music.

Triumphant (Get 'Em) Remixes (35,999)
by Rod from Philippines
| |
|
|
I'm listening to the Triumphant (Get 'Em) remixes right now and I can honestly say that I like the Pulse Club Mix the best among the remixes including the extended mixes and edits. I think the Pulse Radio Edit would fit what's being played in pop radio right now. And if I were to rank the 3 versions (original and 2 remixes), the original version gets the icing on the cake, followed closely by Pulse Club Mix and lastly, Vintage Throwback Remix.

If she's not going to release her music this year, it means that there is still things to do. I believe that her album will be much better if she doesn't rush anything! I will rather wait for something good, than getting something she is not proud of.

I'm not complaining (35,996)
by Stacey from USA
| |

I'm not complaining. Those who prefer the rap collabos have the original version of Triumphant to enjoy. I have the throwback remix to keep myself happy till an album comes out. It's all good. Not every person is going to like everything MC comes out with. So, chill out if someone doesn't like a MC song. I know for a fact every fan here has one song of MC's they don't care for. C'mon, you're all guilty of skipping past that one song on each of her albums, lol. Special K, your comments are always a breath of fresh air.

7 tracks in (35,995)
by RibbonB from USA

On July 19th Randy Jackson said in an interview that he was 7 tracks into a new CD with Mariah. And Mariah has mentioned that number too in recent weeks. That was when he was working with her while she was in the Hamptons. It's a process.

According to Mariah herself, she joked about having recorded like 120 songs since she was pregnant. So, even though 120 songs might've been a joke to imply she's recorded lots of songs already, 7 doesn't sound like a lot to me. And I don't think Mariah would have a single with re-sung vocals and production with only 7 songs for the album.
