Sweetheart non Rap (95,380) by Edward from USA I was so looking forward to listening to "Sweetheart Non-Rap Version", but as much as I can't stand JD's ass, I have to say that without his rapping the song is not the same. At least "Fantasy" can stand on its own without ODB, but not this one. "El Amor Que Soñé" actually sounds better now than when I first listened to it back then. Her accent is definitely better than on "Mi Todo", I appreciate the fact they worked on her pronunciation so she could sound decent. Mariah should've kept on releasing songs in Spanish at least one per album, she was definitely in the right direction. Music in Mexico is huge, in Latin America, if you make it in Mexico it is as if you made it in the US coming from other English speaking countries. (Friday 4 September 2020; 15:20)

I have one minor niggle with the list: Damizza has a chapter in his book called "Don't Forget About Us", all about how he ended things with Mariah (whatever "things" were, friendship or maybe something more). You ask someone who isn't a fan about the Firecracker sample or "sing, sing" or even her marriage to Tommy and you will get blank stares. If you read any gossip column or newspaper, the comments about her usually are focused on her voice or being a diva past her prime. The memoir isn't aimed at die hard fans, it's aimed at people who don't know her story.. Those people who know the music, but are curious about the woman behind the melodies.
