Vision of Love was great too. My All takes the cake though, she truly did it in her own way and so beautifully. They put on a nice show overall. Make sure to watch Someday too. If she was good at lipsyincing and it didn't use the CD vocals we all know and love for any of the songs, then it wouldn't be as big of a deal (although I personally wouldn't like it either way, and don't like it even Celine does it). But people wouldn't notice it as much and therefore speak about it as much. But she doesn't even put an effort her faking it. Like the "Fantasy" incident of her falling off of the box. C'mon. You're already in the hot seat for lipsyncing. But I'm sure that was Dick Clark Productions fault. The worst pulprit, in my opinion, is when she performs "Without You" and alternates between her current voice and the 1993 album vocals that are knocked down a semi-tone or whatever. It wouldn't fall within the "spirit" of the track. I would hope what feels "honest" for the objective and reasonable person would prevail. That she hit number one with the same vocals kinda would to me make it honest that she couldn't claim another number one. (Friday 13 July 2018; 03:08)

Wise Girls was Mariah quickly throwing out lines in bursts waving her hand around and Doug a thick NY accent like she was a lush. She literally looked like she was gonna crap her pants if someone improvised. Precious was her looking pissed off with a clipboard. There's no "acting" here. Enough of this nonsense. She can no more act a part than she can lip sync her own songs. She only ever worries about how she looks. She is not "all there". Tell me I am wrong, with citation. I'll cite you counter examples until the cows come home. She is not an actress. She was a singer who lost her way. Seriously lost her way. To thunderous applause of the lambs. She is clearly not an actress and she doesn't know how to act in movies. She doesn't have face expressions enough to be in movies and she doesn't use her voice correctly when "acting". Even her fingers are tuned in to the diva act she has been doing for years in real life, in every movie she has done. I love the musician that she is, but can't stand the acting. If she had actually re-sung her part for the song then maybe you could dress it up as "Drake feat Mariah", but she didn't and it is nothing more than a sample. We didn't have Mariah feat. Tom Tom Club, Mariah feat. Treacherous 3, Mariah feat. Stacey Lattishaw etc. and she sampled those songs so heavily she was simply singing her melody over the original backing track. I Still Believe (83,105) by Ethan from United States I agree with you all that she should have gone back to the studio and re-recorded the song to fit her current tone/voice. I wonder if it's the last minute decision to switch out CTTA and perform ISB with no preparation. It's unfortunate that it made the show less successful and not coherent. Her ISB performance on the Billboard Music Awards (BMA) was nowhere near and didn't sound anything like the album version at all but it was a great live performance and considered one of the best performances on BMA. I feel like you either go back to the studio and layer vocals/mix all the songs like Britney's team did or try to sing live over playback background vocals at much as possible. I hope the 2nd leg will be better with change/improvement as I plan to see it in September. (Thursday 12 July 2018; 19:58)

Mariah's performance is far from the worst part of the movie, a movie (and soundtrack) that was never going to work. The soundtrack is an example of Mariah being ahead of the times. However, she redeemed herself as an actress with Wise Girls, Tennessee, Precious, and The Butler. (Thursday 12 July 2018; 18:45)
