Re: Caution next singles (86,595) (86,606) by RibbonB from USA
I agree I instantly love songs 8 and 9 and found them to be radio friendly. Song 9, Stay Long is perfect forop, top 40 and 8, 8th Grade is perfect for A.C. Or any market smart enough to put it on. Tony Braxton's Long as I Live gets lots of love on 94.7 the Wave in LA. Speaking of the Wave, I was delighted to hear them play Mariah's When Christmas Comes yesterday. It's also nice that Mimi has mentioned the song on Fallon and I think on The SeriusXM interviews. I stated recently that the song is one of her most recent best dongs, both well written a d superbly sung. Now she can add a few more from Caution.

The voice (86,605) by Nicole from US
Hi guys. Hope everybody is positive about AIWFCIY this coming holiday season. I have a question and I want to hear your honest opinion. It has been so long and I want to know why you guys think Mariah has not talked about the state of her voice and the changes it went through over the years. Opinions might have been shared through other news articles but as this point in time just want to hear out everyone’s two cents about her voice. Call me stupid or what but I really want to hear since this is a forum anyway. Thank you so much.

Re: Justice for AIWFCIY (86,565) (86,604) by 123 from USA
Hi jacker, it actually peaked at #9 last year on the Hot 100. This year is its best bet to hit #1 as both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are on the same tracking week. Last year it peaked in streams on Christmas Day but since both eve and day were on speedster tracking weeks, the streaming numbers were split. Her team needs to hold off on discounting the song until December 14th to give Ariana's streaming numbers to her video release of Thank U Next to die down. Lambs have already started a campaign and even created a website for the campaign called "#MakeMyWishComeThrough". Click on the red We Are Lambily button and it takes you to their twitter feed. They need to hold off on A No No remix until after Christmas if they want the song to stand a chance against All I Want For a Christmas Is You. If it can hit #1, she will get plenty of press and use the coverage to gain instead on A No No Remix afterwards. Since it's well on its way on beating its #9 position last year, it's best to hold off on a new single.

Re: Caution next singles (86,580) (86,603) by SM from Citizen of the World
I think it's fine if people want to call her the "Queen of Christmas". I say this because she wrote "All I want for Christmas is you" so that makes it her own song. She created a timeless classic every year. Now if she didn't write any of her Christmas songs that she was singing then I would be embarrassed at the title lol.

I absolutely love this song. It's my To The Floor and it's way better than Caution and OMG.

The writers of the original Kim sampled are included and as are the writers of Kim's.

Caution: a track a day (2 of 7) (86,599) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines
Stay Long Love You
If this buoyant, springtime track sounds too familiar, it's probably because it sounds like something Ariana has done over and over again since her debut album, although we all know it has been perfected by Mariah first, in fact, several times throughout the 2000s. But here, Mariah makes it clear to everyone who's the teacher and who's the student. Yes, Mimi does Ari better than Ari herself and rightfully so.

More flirty than sexual, the blippy game console-ish sounds may cheapen the overall feel of the song, but adds a touch of retro playfulness to it. Gunna's part sounds like one of his better guest features, and his voice, while grating at times, works well with Mariah's.

The hook is catchy, especially the "you make me, make me wanna" part, and Mariah's sexy slowed-down pre-chorus should have been repeated after Gunna's verse before the second hook, but it's the dizzying layers of harmonies during the middle eight that makes you wish she prolonged that part for just a bit more.

This may be considered the worst on the album by most fans thanks to its unsophisticated sound and dumbed-down lyrics, but it's still a cute, feel good song that would have fit right into E=MC2, obviously sandwiched between two slow jams just to vary the pace.

Caution (86,596) by anonymous from UK
After multiple listens, it gets better and better. The album is coherent and contained. I love it. I feel the least coherent album was Rainbow, I just never got on with it. Caution is defo going to be in my top five MC albums.

I live for SLLY. It's one of the strongest hit potentials on the album after "A No No". Gunna also has a lot of streaming pull.

Re: Caution (86,571) (86,594) by Edward from USA
I hadn't even noticed I typed "Caption", lol. Well, I'm happy it's a short album. Finally people have come to realize Mariah is not a seller machine as she used to be, that's good. Christmas is definitely going to drown "Caution" up. Reviving in January? Let's see. I like "A No No", but I do think, and I hope to be wrong, that Cardi and Lil Kim are going to waste on another generic remix. I think Mariah should use them on remixes for "The Distance" and "8th Grade". By the way.

A No No (86,593) by We are Lambily from USA
I'm dying for the remix btw, but I just wanna clarify one thing, A No No doesn't have 9 writers really, Lil Kim's version was written by 5 of those names, back when everybody got credit for probably absolutely nothing. Like Mariah herself said, even she was way too kind with that.

One day I will write about Caution, until then let me enjoy this masterpiece because it's giving me life, the only thing I hate is how we disrespect Mariah's other albums every time one comes, Mariah was everything and still is everything. You guys can love something without tearing other stuff down.

Interviews (86,592) by Billy from Greece
It has already been mentioned but it is such a relief to see Mariah being so well during this era's interviews. It's a total u-turn compared to the nightmare era. In the latest one she looks exactly like the cover of "The Roof" single. It's unbelievable how much more serene her face is, how much clearer the look in her eyes. Even her body language is so much more confident. It seems she has done a lot of personal work and growth and that the wounds following the divorce, which I believe devastated her because she repeated her own familial history and later led to the darkest period of her life, have finally started healing. Maybe writing her memoirs is also part of all this "accepting" attitude she's been having lately. Finally, I agree with Mariah, I would also prefer "Proceed with Caution" but I also understand the marketing concept of using plain "Caution".

Maybe because you post endless drivel, Eric can't sift through it all? Seriously, Beans, the amount of messages you post is more obnoxious than anything I have ever said. And it's all mental propoganda. Mental.

When I first listened to "Stay Long Love You" I thought the same. The teens and young twens will love it. This song sounds a lot like many songs on the charts and radio stations for the young people.

I really think Missy is going to be on the remix. If she jumps on it, MC is going to have her first 10 pop hits since Obsessed.

Proceed with caution (3): next singles and steps (86,585) by Ethan from United States
1. I'm glad that a lot of the lambs are on the same wavelength of having Giving Me Life as a mini-movie music video. It does hurt the label's pocket but Mariah can compensate for that. Again, please get Paul Hunter or Diane Martel to direct the video (3rd single after A No No).

2. Like most lambs, my least favorite track is Stay Long Love You. I don't hate or love it. I think it reminds me of Did I Do That? from Rainbow, which I don't like the single at all. I don't know why she included it in that album. I wish she could have replaced it with Runway instead.

3. Mariah needs to release A No No remix before or during her Christmas tour to get some commotion. She has 2 months off before she returns to Vegas. I hope she'll get invited to award shows, perform more songs from Caution, and be a part of Aretha Franklin tribute at the Grammys.

4. If A No No remix is nowhere out soon, then Caution might be out of the charts in the next two weeks. It's already slipping from iTunes and the promotion has wrapped up. I've been listening to it on Apple Music every day so I hope it will stay longer on the charts.

5. Some of the songs include lots of writers because she sampled the music for her singles on Caution. That's why. Just like WBT, it has a lot more due to Bobby Womack and Babyface references.

Oddly, Stay Long Love You is a favorite of casual listeners and I can see it becoming a hit with the tweens and teens because of the beat and Gunna feature.

18 top ten albums (86,582) by george golden from uk
I am loving this new album by the day. The songs are very addictive. It's amazing what Mariah can achieve if she puts her heart to it. 8th Grade is such an amazing track. It's up there with her best. To think that she now has 18 top ten albums is crazy. Well congrats to her.
