I must admit... (84,757) by MC1989 from Spain That "With You" has grown a lot in me, until a point where the melody is stuck in my head. Since the epic playback at the AMAs - I liked the presentation though - I've been listening to "With You" a few times per day. Though I preferred GTFO as the first promoted single, I'm so happy Mariah is back with new songs that I like. I will buy the album as soon as it comes. I will not comment anything about her playbacks or the state of her voice until I hear her voice live again, because I'm really concerned. I paid around € 140 to go and see her Christmas show in Madrid in December. I'm so excited. This is a dream come true. But I'm also worried about how she is going to sound. It's the first time she comes to Spain to do a concert since Rainbow. There will be a lot of expectation, so she must bring the 2014-15 Beacon shows voice back or she will be killed by the press and the media. (Thursday 11 October 2018; 20:35)

A little confused (84,756) by Nikki from usa Mariah's pretty well known for standing in one spot during a performance. She did the same thing at the 2013 BET awards. I'm not sure why this is making news, because it isn't new. However, in this case, Mariah's pink dress encompasses the entire stage and she has dancers dancing on it. So, why are people expecting her to move? She was brilliant by taking advantage of the fact she turns into a statue on stage and gave a good reason for it. I thought the visual was stunning. I also like the fact she's wearing something other than black for a change. She was a very pretty statue and the scene was appropriate for a slow song. I would love for the next major performance she does to see her kick off her shoes and run around on stage. Who doesn't love watching Mariah do drills? Also, in the theme of Halloween, I want to see Mariah do some kind of special with Elvira. They have the same fashion sense and campy sense of humor. Not to mention, it would confuse the hell out of people which Mariah hasn't done since marrying Nick Cannon. (Thursday 11 October 2018; 19:24)

Video is all good, and who knew when she stepped out in those great trousers the other day it was fresh from filming a scene for the video. Love the hairbrush part. All very stylish. As I've said before, this song (and now video) are both fine, but I just don't think it has the "pizazz" of a lead single. Wish it the best though, especially after AMAgate. As for the When You Believe performance Mariah's parts are breathy and airy while Whitney's are rich and full. What did you expect for them to do? To try to one up each other at the Oscars? That was cute and some people can relate to doing things like that when they're in love. The video (84,749) by Mara from United States I think the video is classy and stunning. Those scenes where she is walking in Hollywood, she looks so beautiful and better than half that are in the game right now. I thought the point of the video was just her reflecting on how she is in love. She was alone, looking beautiful of course, it not overly touchy and over the top. It came off genuine. The shots of her with her hair slicked back was so natural like she was getting ready and just thinking about how happy she is. The vulnerable parts where she sings "promise that you'll keep me warm" was conveyed genuinely. I think the background scenes were classy and it was directed very well. Perhaps she didn't want to put a love interest in since the videos with Nick. I loved it and Mariah that smokey eye makeup was on point. Love that she is stepping out of her comfort zone a bit, from showing her what she considers bad side on single, to wearing darker lipstick. The video I think will help the song and this one at least that has replay value because there is so many different shots. Love the hairbrush moment too. Drugs aside I don't think even Whitney's voice would have been the power house it was at this stage. Voices change, people lip sync at various times it's just the way it is. I'm no singer but I love a good belt out in the car while I'm driving. If I've got a cold or under the weather I notice I'm not as good, but god forbid Mariah was to get a cold at some point in her 28 year career. I mean can you imagine a star not feeling well at points in their career? Wouldn't that be terrible if people actually discovered she was human and suffered the same as the rest of us. Is that the same house with the GTFO video and also that magazine shoot she did a while back recently. It's also been awhile we saw Mariah driving, I actually forgot she could drive. Lol. Anyways I love it, it certainly flows well with the song and the sepia tone gives it this vintage feel. Mariah looks the best she's looked since 1997. Don't state that like it's a fact. Whitney has a bigger voice, yes. But in my opinion (remembering pretty much all this is about an opinion) Mariah has the purer and more beautiful tone, so no, there were no mic problems etc, Mariah sang beautifully and from the heart, no embarrassment whatsoever. Joachim, thank you for saying what I really should be saying, but am just too damn tired to say. If Randy lists the problems that people make excuses for once more and says "did I get them all", ignoring what you've just said once more, I may spontaneously combust. So let's spell it clear for you, Randy - Joachim is saying everyone is different. That's point one. He is saying some people have it all their lives, some people don't, that's point two. He is not making excuses about anything, he is simply stating that people change/deteriorate/get better/etc differently, just because person a keeps it doesn't mean the same for person b, c and d. New album (84,738) by Ethan from United States So Mariah's Asia tour starts in 5 days and she has 3 weeks between that and the Christmas Tour. Does it mean the album will drop sometime in November or end of December? Who knows. Perhaps GTFO and With You won't even end up in the final cut just like Rihanna's 4 5 Seconds, Bitch Better Have My Money, and American Oxygen in Anti. Overall, the rollout of the songs for the album is precise and prepared compared to MIAM. And the first two songs are solid. To be honest, I like With You more after the AMA's performance - it's visually artistic and stunning. More or less, I look forward to new materials and similar songs to have a musically coherent produced album. (Thursday 11 October 2018; 08:56)

Not making excuses but she is in a completely different state of mind and definetly not motivated as before I guess, and probably her medications for bipolar limit her creativity for sure. After seeing the full AMAs performance on Vevo I have to say overall it wasn't that bad. Looked and sounded ok and to most of the people watching and media publications that's all that matters. Most of them could not tell she was lipping most of it. Only we could tell that she sadly lipped. Let's move on and start bashing the video now. Maybe she doesn't get the budget to hire actors anymore. I could even do with seeing Tanaka doing some cheesy moves on there as a freebie. Am I getting used to it or was there a little less touching herself in this video. Pretty but exactly as expected. I still think they should have gone with the WBT storyline with Bryan reprising Miller's role and a Packer look alike doing Roberts'. (Thursday 11 October 2018; 07:21)
