Obvious references aside, "Polarity" also signifies diametric opinions on something which is a theme that runs through Mariah's music: "Is hate you but I love you" and so on... an internal debate about the right course of action. And it just sounds cool. Bit I must agree with Eddie, she will surely call it something like "Pretentious self-referential musings of a person who is pretty on the right hand side". The new album should be titled "Polar Opposites" with the first six songs for "For the Feet" and the other six songs "For the soul", with a bonus track called "Contour (Do It Right) Remix". On an unrelated note I'm a huge X-Men fan and my favorite character Jean Grey was/is the Phoenix. She died saving her teammates only to rise from the ashes reborn (technically she rose from Jamaica Bay). My votes are for Mariah., The Redemption of Mariah/Mimi, or Phoenix. Both are dated by the production. They both create timeless music and I wish they'd work together. I read an interview in which Toni Braxton talked about collaborating with both Janet and Mariah and how it never happened because of scheduling issues. Seriously though I don't care what she names it as long as the music is good. Do you ever go as far as whipping out the collection now and again to polish the cases or just admire them, because I do. I can talk about collecting cd's all day too. I never get tired of listening to them. Musically and lyrically Mariah at her best. Although she has so many great up-tempos. With the new album name I would prefer a simple one-word title, like in the "golden past". "Limelight" sounds pretty good. Someone mentioned "Phoenix" which is also cool. Simply "Mariah" is nice too but not so creative. Well, of course the music matters, but a good album title is never wrong. (Thursday 19 April 2018; 11:20)

How can you file a lawsuit based on sexual harassment/breech of contract but then start talking about her not taking her bipolar meds? No wonder no lawyer would take her case. Everything about it screams Yolanda Saldivar style revenge. The only thing good about this situation is it seems that it's bringing a lot of people to Mariah's defense, and I hate to say it, but Mariah needs the sympathy. If you read the comments of theshaderoom's post about Stella's "lawsuit" I can't find one comment that isn't defending Mariah. Ha. I bet stella expected this to hurt Mariah's career, since almost everything else she's done has. Yet this in some [censored] up way may be the most helpful thing she's done for Mariah? Hell. She's even got Wendy defending Mariah several times throughout the past couple months. If you look at Mariah's public image this time last year vs now- it's a full 180.
