Mariah Carey announces new album "Here For It All" (109,879) by Dove from United States

I like the cover art because she looks genuinely happy. I know it's posed, but it doesn't look posed. My favorite style of pictures are the ones that look candid.

I love the title because I'm also here for it all. For me, that means I'm here for the whole spectrum of emotions we experience as humans. I hope the album has at least a few songs that make me feel something.

I'm reminded of a quote I heard in the documentary Long Promised Road (about Brian Wilson). It's a famous guy (I can't remember his name) describing Brian's music. He said something along the lines of, "The beauty of it carries with a sense of joyfulness even in the pain of living." That's exactly the way I feel about Mariah Carey's music. You guys I'm so excited and here for it.

Today on "my" station they were playing "Without you". It still amazes me, when I hear the first few seconds of the piano and then the magic happens. The radio-man said an absolute classic and wonderful version by Mariah. So true.

I like the title. Hopefully the 9/26 release date doesn't make the album conflict too much with whatever Mariah has planned for the holiday season. I remember "Caution" being released in mid-November 2018, which may have contributed a bit to its low performance. I like the album cover, the pose reminds me a bit of the "Glitter" album cover except with eyes open.

Obsessed with this title. I also love that the album artwork isn't another version of her standing with her arms over her head. I'm really appreciating the soft roll out, this is the opposite of what happened with Me I Am Mariah.

As Mimi L. explained it to us, the lyrics are basically Honey 2.0 but from her perspective.

Hopefully they've been kept open enough for people to derive whatever meaning they want to. I can't wait for the announcement today. I wonder if we're getting a tracklisting as well or just the cover art and title (and hopefully the date). And then Friday the new single. Exciting times for most of us. Stressful times for the Tommy era only fans. Will she tarnish their image of her they've clung to even more?

I hope there's something in MC16 for everybody

Great ear, Terna. No wonder I instantly thought Sensational by CB vibes lol. I hope it is similar though, I love that song. I'm praying her lyrics in this song are sweet and fun and not her being petty about a guy and dissing him. I guess the lyrics could go either way, "Ima keep it nice, Ima keep it neat, Ima keep it suga, Ima keep it sweet", could also mean "don't mess with me and everything gon be cool" lol or am I reaching?
