I was just listening to When I Feel It last week during one of my semi-regular Mariah mania binges and loved it. I'd only heard these songs in passing years ago, but I can say that's my fave of the 3 and one I'll continue to go back to. I love this clip because of the festive pic that goes with the song. Song def fits in with the whole old school vibe that was out during the early to mid 00s, as heard in songs by Mimi, Alicia Keys, Kanye West, just to name a few. Oh how I miss those days. Sprung is ok. Secret Love I don't like. Reminds me of the Bonecrusher remix of The One, which I am also not a big fan of. I am loving the glamourous look and pose minus the clunky diamon earrings and horrid necklace. The diamonds on her wrists are ok, but the too much over the top necklaces and earrings just age her. I also see them all over Instagram. Mariah's really benefitting from this social media age like she really connects with the younger generation with all her "Mariahisms", the "I don't know her" and its sequel "I still don't know her". Lol. And the tea incident earlier this year. Everything she does is intriguing and entertaining to them and that's definitely a good thing. I remember I was like that too. She is free to spread her wings again. Didn't she break free in 1997 with the Butterfly album? Didn't we feel it with every song that she was free from her captors? Perfect title to return to a soaring form with those heartfelt ballads and uptempo R&B songs she is known for. She is out of her cocoon and looking absolutely amazing. I am pretty sure I am right. Maybe she'll pull a Beyonce and drop the album with no warning in May or June. She wanted to do it with MIAM but Island refused and even issued a statement contradicting her which is why she basically abandoned the album after promoting You're Mine (Eternal).
