Gossip Cop (78,349) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
I'm so tired of their so called investigative journalism. All the stories are mostly nonsense and nothing no one is talking about.

Article: Mariah, French Montana did not flirt in recording studio (78,348) by Andrew from UK
What is the purpose of Gossip Cop? Take a tabloid news story and then proclaim "It's not true because someone from the celebrity involved said it is not - haha we busted them, it wasn't truuuuuueee, aren't we great?" On what planet is this an actual thing? When did investigative journalism involve asking the accused to confirm or deny an embarrassing allegation and subsequently declaring innocence when they do? Somebody tell MI6 or the CIA to haul the journalists from Gossip Cop in to be debriefed on this brilliant investigative technique and terrorism itself would be a thing of the past. Gossip Cop could be Global Cop: World Police.

Gossip after gossip (78,347) by Carlos from Brazil
How many gossips people will create so Gossip Cop can debunk the story? I think we reach a new low. It's getting super boring to be a Mariah fan.

Sheila (78,346) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
I can totally agree with you and saying Mariah definitely deserves this moment and this prestigious honor. Especially with Butterfly turning 20 years old on 9/16.

Has Mariah lost touch with the lambs? (78,345) by Sheila from United States
The lambs beg for "Miss you much at Christmas time", "Anytime you need a friend", "Outside", "Petals", "Fly like a bird", "Mine again" and she refuses to deliver. She gives the same show, same lipped moments, she has made great improvements due to the Lionel tour. Kylie, Beyonce, Janet do album cuts, bsides, why doesn't Mariah take that chance? Foxwoods is a prime example, make it happen.

Article: Mariah to be celebrated at VH1's Hip Hop Honors (78,344) by Sheila from United States
So they think Mary J Blige should get the award? Why? She's hip hop soul and has made no impact on the pop charts. Mariah has made pop music and rap combos fashionable. Mariah was queen of the pop charts and adding Bone Thugs, Old Dirty or Snoop to the song just pushed it into middle america mainstream. She sincerely owned this moment.

Article: Mariah refuses to let Bryan see her without clothes on? (78,342) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I'm laughing so hard at this. The time these people have on their hands to respond to the most ridiculous rumors yet stay mum on serious ones is hilarious.

Re: Hip hop honors 90's game changers (78,340) (78,341) by Licia from USA
I think some people are on the fence about it because since Mariah is being lumped in to the Rnb genre they don't believe that she really started a trend. They don't differentiate pop music (where Mariah initially started) from Rnb music (where Mariah wants to be now). Rnb artists like Mary J. Blige were already doing the hip hop/Rnb collaboration thing. Some people refuse to acknowledge that the she was pop at one point and pop acts were not doing what Mariah did. If she had started in Rnb and they were trying to give her this honor I definitely could see where they are coming from. She does deserve some praise.

Hip hop honors 90's game changers (78,340) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
For anyone on fence about our beloved Mariah being honored this year's ceremony pays homage to the 90's and people who impacted the 90's through music, film, and television through hip hop roots. I do feel Mariah's impact should be celebrated, hopefully other shows do similar content. Congratulations to Mariah and all the other honorees.

MC being honored at the 2017 hip hop honors (78,339) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
This is a great that MC is finally being honored for her work and in hip hop she single handily changed the landscape of pop music with "The Fantasy" remix featuring ODB. This collaboration is the reason pop stars are able to use the hip pop formula today. Moments such as these make me thankful I discovered Mariah Carey and her music.

Re: Miss You Most at Christmas Time (78,319) (78,338) by Andrew from UK
Fully agree that Miss You Most is perfect for Christmas. If I sing along I always want to do the big "alright" note at the end but always, without fail, stop and listen hard to the note instead. It's so wonderfully rich but so annoyingly short. It's possibly the only part that Mariah would have to do a prerecord on if she did it this year. With the hundreds of concerts she's been doing recently, she would to well to start throwing other songs into the mix. Would be interesting for the lambs to guess the tracklisting and order for the concerts. Let's see who gets it right. I'm sure somebody will get it bang on. Then maybe Mariah might realise she's pretty boring live, recently. Personally, is like to see her doing something completely new and moving. Like Hallelujah.

Re: Manchester UK (78,329) (78,337) by Andrew from UK
He meant the "X" was a timesaver but probably means "Christ" anyway, Christians shouldn't be so sensitive, the holiday is not about religion for him it's about family - and it's his holiday, as much as anyone else's. Oh and he likes gospel. If you find reading difficult, suggest Googling some colourful pictures.

Re: Miss You Most at Christmas Time (78,321) (78,336) by Andrew from UK
Bill, actually dropping concert announcements with no advance warning is not very fair. Given that a pair of tickets will cost up to £200, the average person would need to hope that the announcement comes at a time when they are not brassic. If you don't live in London or Manchester the costs become significantly higher with travel and accommodation. Even for those just about able to put the pennies together, the question of how long or short the concert will be, whether most of it will be live or lipped, etc. all comes into play: essentially, is that significant expense worth it given the reward? I think dropping shock concert announcements is not a very moral thing to do. By all means, shock drop the music. But not a concert.

Re: Article: Mariah difficult on set of Will Ferrel (78,335) by Nikki from usa
I'll have to gong you there webmaster. Check the date of that article. Throwing a major celeb under the bus or any other actor in general is considered a bad move. Gossip Cop called someone in production on the set and they would've stated something favorable. We don't know what actually happened and nobody has ever asked Mariah outright about it. That aside, Will nor Amy said much about their movie while promoting it. Focusing on anything else is commonplace when the movie is crap and most scenes wind up on the cutting room floor. After her NYE performance happened and there weren't any consequences from Mariah she set herself up as an acceptable patsy. I said something to that affect earlier this year. But, The House movie people didn't say a word until a month before they were releasing the movie and used her as promotion. She was outside the U.S. no less when they did that. The bottom line is Gossip Cop wasn't wrong about what they reported at the time. The switch in their (The House crew) approach to Mariah happened after the New Year.

I Still Believe - The View 1998 (78,334) by Billy from Greece
I had forgotten that she did a fantastic job on ISB on The View back in 1998. I only remembered that she was a bit hoarse during VOL, but ISB is an awesome vocal here

Re: Mariah Carey installed skinny mirrors in home? (78,326) (78,333) by jaker20 from US
The fact that people are talking about [this] stuff speaks volumes of the state of MC's career. As nasty as these rumors are, that means no one is interested to talk about whatever music she's doing. I mean my 12 year old niece [doesn't] even know [who] she is for crying out loud, and that says a lot [because] she knows Whitney and Madonna.

Article: Mariah "is planning to attend a weight-loss retreat" (78,332) by RibbonB from USA
This might be a good time for a retreat. She is long overdue for an extended break. She has been doing far too much these last two years. Working is fine, as she has always had the ability to work as much as she wants, but this extended period of putting her health, rest and children secondary to working was bound to take it's toll.

Article: Mariah Carey's twins embarrassed by fame? (78,331) by RibbonB from USA
I hope this story isn't true, but their might be some truth to it. On every intro she does of them singing ABMB with her, she always says that she is not sure it they are going to come out, like there is no control of how they will behave. Yeah, they are little kids and could be napping or whatever, but I always wondered why she made it seem like she wasn't even sure if they were going to arrive on time. I don't know what the deal is, but for the kids' sake, less might be more. Anyway, All the Hits tour is done, but here comes Christmas.

Totally agree with you. The new "rumor" with the kids and spotlight is also unnecessary. I do hope it's not true. I just saw yesterday an interview with Aaron Carter and was shocked how he looked and how broken he seemed. I think to experience fame as a kid is often like poison.

They might as well have gone all the way and said she'd turned the place into a fun house lol. I don't know why they can't at least plant good stories, like ones about her working with x, y, z producer or artist or something even if she's really not. Get people talking about her music.

Article: Mariah difficult on set of Will Ferrell, Amy Poehler movie? (78,327) by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
"Mariah Carey did not act difficult while shooting a cameo for Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler's upcoming comedy, The House, despite a bogus tabloid report. Gossip Cop can correct this claim. We're told it's not true." Funny, a year later we all know this "bogus" tabloid report was true and Gossip Cop was wrong.

Mariah Carey installed skinny mirrors in home? (78,326) by Licia from USA
They really need to stop bringing attention to rumors that no one has even heard until they dispute them. This is getting ridiculous. She's about to flood the internet with Christmas cheer. She's already going to be mentioned everywhere. They can chill with the planted stories because the extra nonsense for attention will not be needed until at least January. Lol.
