Re: Article: Drag queen "denied entry" to concert for being in drag (79,859) (79,867)

I didn't see any "strange" people there so I have no idea what you're talking about. You think she's strange? This is exactly what the problem is. Yes, it is sick. I don't know whether she was or wasn't allowed in but I did see many people giving them nasty looks, including O2 staff and security. That alone is enough.

Re: All I Want chart prediction (79,865) (79,866)

That's great. 7 is excellent - higher than expected - especially for a song that's been released at a time when most of today's music fans haven't been born yet. The hype resulting from that should somehow help keep it in rotation for the next week, where it could probably chart even higher. Another huge achievement here, should she really enter the top 10, is that she was able to achieve it mostly on streaming, which is increasingly becoming the true measure of popularity in music these days, and is always a challenge for older artists. Not even Britney or Alicia achieve big streaming numbers anymore.

All I Want chart prediction (79,865)

So early projections is that it will chart at number 7. So another top 10 for her mostly based on streams. That would be a top 10 for her in three separate decades as a lead female artist. I would love a top 5 or the elusive 1 spot. Hopefully they discount it to drive up sales.

The Star / nomination (79,864)
by 123 from USA

So proud that she is being recognized for this song. A lot of people don't like it but you cannot deny the lyrics or the fact that is was beautifully written. I do agree about Right to Dream, but Almost Home is a throw away track in my opinion. A big reason she got nominated is because she campaigned for this song. It's how these nominations/awards work in Hollywierd. She made a huge presentation to the foreign press with a performance, tons of interviews for them, and activities (sleigh rides, puppy kennel), snacks, and egg nog while they waited their turn to interview her. Then the follow up cd they received of the song was pretty cool too. She went all out the way a diva should, catering to them. I hope she wins. It will be great press to see her at the awards show for her nomination.

This is a great song. She should submit more of her original songs to soundtracks, especially those that are not number ones that are hidden away as album tracks.

At one of the Beacon shows, A guy 2 rows in front of me was praying with his hands high up in the air above his head and kept reaching high everytime Mariah sang lol it was quite dramatic but funny because it was every song.

Nick's new video (79,861)
by Licia from USA
| |

I'm dying laughing. When I finally watched the video I really didn't get that this was an ode to Mariah. I don't know why TMZ is even reporting this. It's a bunch of dogs. Lol. There are a ton of crazy lambs with their panties in a bunch over it allegedly being about Mariah. The video isn't disrespectful in any way. The video is cute and funny. You never know, Mariah may be laughing right along with everyone else. I can't wait to hear her response if anyone asks her about it. In true Nick fashion he's using the TMZ news to get people to watch. Lol.

Social media / new team (79,860)
by Will from England
| |
|
|
My, what a world of difference a new team has made in just a few short weeks. Everything that has been posted on her Instagram and InstaStory has been on point and focused. No more odd glamour or drunk shots. Just straight up promo for AIWFCIY and the tour. Her new stylist (and I do believe that there is one) is clothing her well and suitably, making her look like a legend. The staging for this tour is perfect, and I'm delighted to see that they've reinstated the screens. I did not go to this tour, primarily because of the lack of screens during the SSFT but I'm kicking myself now. The costumes are also appropriate: no more body suits. And she's got her first Golden Globe nomination under this team already. Go team go.

Hold on, everyone else was allowed in. And I saw some strange looking and behaving people allowed in. Just because somebody screams discrimination does not mean that's what happened. To call it "sick" is jumping the gun. "It's with the police" but, after, she's seeking legal advice. Why were the police involved? Perhaps better to leave it to the Metropolitan Police who have no agenda rather than jumping on the scream-discrimination bandwagon. Something feels like it's missing in this story.

Article: Drag queen "denied entry" to concert for being in drag (79,858)
by Musti from UK

This is sad. I think I actually saw her when I was waiting for my friend to arrive. She looked fierce. And she definitely wasn't the only one there in drag. This shouldn't be happening in this day and age, especially not in London and most certainly not at a Mariah concert. Patiently waiting for the day when people with a feminine side will no longer be made fun of or be treated like they're inferior. I hope Mariah chips in on this. This is just sick.

Yes she looks so good. Just gorgeous and I love it. I'm not against her letting the girls free, but she needs to tame them sometimes. The dresses for the Christmas shows are perfect examples(especially the red). She's showing her favorite body parts, but it's not too much. As always I hope she keeps it up.

MC and Walter A (79,854)

MC and Walter had many disagreements during the recording of the Butterfly album, also he sided with Tommy during their separation and MC felt betrayed which led to the dissolve of she and Walter's working relationship.

Mariah thinks people won't notice her unless she has her massive tits out. But she's always looked pretty amazing when they're covered up. However, I think it's safe to say that she would have had the girls out if it weren't absolutely [censored] freezing and snowing in London at the moment.

The guy and girl next to me spent the whole show dancing extremely crazy (even to "O Holy Night") whilst filming *themselves* singing along. The icing on the Christmas cake came when the two guys at the end of the row found it so hilarious/shocking they started filming these two weirdos with the flashlight on. Favourite part was when Trey sang "Jesus (Oh What A...)" and the girl kept shouting "Prez Jesus" while waving her hands manically. Still, it's nice for these people that the hospitals let them out. Just hope they get back before lockdown.

I agree, great picture. I know Mariah complains about being covered up in the early days etc. Yet when I watch interviews and performances from the Daydream era in particular, she always looked so fashionable and chic. Like this stylish French sophistication look.

Yes. I did experience this. There were two drunk gay guys who were old enough to know better, possibly late 30s maybe early 40s, who spent the whole night talking to and dancing with a couple of straight girls they met in the bloody isle. They were not even facing Mariah for most of the night, they spent much of the time talking to each other. The stewards would walk past them and push them into the rows to keep the isles clear but as soon as the stewards left the area, they were straight back out in the isle chatting. I get it though. They are not fans and probably just wanted to see Mariah singing her famous Christmas song live. They probably would never have attended one of her album tour concerts. They were not the only ones either. I just think it is so disrespectful not only to other fans who paid the same price for tickets but disrespectful to the artist too.

Does Mariah have someone new dressing her? I had to do a double take at this picture. Completely covered yet looking so chic and sexy. Now this is how a star of her caliber should look like.

I know all of this. I was just trying to figure out why the person who wrote the article would use the word rivalry. We don't talk about that It's a Wrap remix. That was not a proper duet. Lol.
