Mariah with fan in Spain (76,543)
by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
| |
|
|
So this cute video of Mariah with a fan surfaced. It's from her trip in Spain and she's so cute when she says she wants to take a picture of the fan. Mariah may be a diva but she's always so sweet to her fans you just can't stay mad at her. I'm also glad that Stella and the crew are not hounding her here like they usually do. In fact I haven't seen them in the Spain trip at all, but they were in Austria.

Article: Will Ferrell hints at Mariah's diva antics on set (76,542)
by Mister Lux from USA
| |
|
|
"Real lambs" will always call out Mariah for BS like this, because they know deep down she is capable of so much more than these unprofessional antics. Unconditional love is also rather unlikely for someone not family or extremely close friend. That being said, unconditional love is not synonymous for unconditional excuses for bad behavior. Mariah is becoming immune to critique and is the lesser for it.

Mariah (76,541)
by Liz Archer from Sweden

I used to be a fan, but now I just don't know. I am tired of stuff like with Will Ferrell happening. Its like she or her team doesn't respect people anymore and that's a huge turn off for me. It makes me sad.

To all still defending this era (76,540)
by Lara from Middle East

For the last 2.5 years there have been zero moments of Mariah alone. She has been photographed with her more than with dem babies. Any flight she has taken, Stella was with her. they're living in the same house. Unless they're in a relationship, don't tell me it's not alarming.

Tommy Mottola (76,537)
by T from USA
| |
|
|
For Tommy Mottola to come out and publically speak about Mariah's managerial situtation is really telling. He risked being scrutinized, seen as obsessed and not minding his own business, and yet he still felt the need to say something. I think everyone in the industry and outside of the industry is rooting for Mariah to wake up.

I was thinking the same thing. None of her roles made those movies blockbusters. Maybe he was being sarcastic. Lol. Those diva antics aren't funny outside of the fans. That was the wrong moment to let Divariah loose. Anyway I didn't know that Will and Mariah were cool. I'm just glad he didn't go in on her like the other guy did. He basically said the same things, but he was a bit more professional and tried to joke. I actually would love for her to allow them to add her deleted scenes to the funny reel just to show she is a good sport, but with the team she has guiding her I don't think it will happen. Having said all that though Divariah would have been funny maybe during the film. She could have ask to add that and been all dramatic when she got shot. There are many things they could have dove to make that cameo work for her.

Re-evaluate (76,535)
by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
| |
|
|
My prayer for Mariah is that she overcomes whatever hardship she is facing right now and comes out of it stronger and happier. The behavior we are seeing right now is not a "she knows what she is doing" or "she has finally owned up to her boss lady status" situation, it's worrisome and she seems lost and out of touch. I don't know why else she would be slowly ruining every bit of credibility she has left. Yes she is a legend but even legends fall and I hope and pray it doesn't happen to Mariah since she has been such a big part of my life and her music has done so much for me. Mariah needs to take time off, go to Capri or somewhere where she is just alone with her kids. No Stella, no nothing. Just sit and re-evaluate what she wants from life and her career. She really has nothing to prove to anybody and I'd rather her prioritize her health and well being over trying to stay relevant. She is Mariah and her legacy and her impact on the music industry will forever remain intact, she doesn't need to act like a new comer to stay in the news. Mariah please take some time out for yourself and your babies. Leave the wanna be manager and clan out of it. Better to be alone than be surrounded by leeches.

What a lovely interview. This is Mariah without playing a "role". So classy and wonderful. How she talks about the bad sides in the music business is almost heartbreaking if you think about what's going on now.

She would have been aware of that before signing the film and hence should not have signed on in the first place. Also I'm sure they would have agreed to that scene being altered but what's your explanation for her not wanting to sing on set? Early morning? Didn't sleep all night? Have a cold? Please, how many more excuses?

They probably wanted her to sing live, but she refused. Or make her do a little dance routine aside from awkwardly touching herself from head to waist - running her pointy fingers laughably on her skin, up and down until her forearm was behind her head. Haha. She's really buying into her diva persona now more than ever. What a disgrace.

Thank you for your extensive reply, Tijl. I have also been in a relationship with a sociopath and know how it feels like. I would say is a bit hard to be open to relationships again, as you become attracted to the same kind of people over and over again until you realize the vicious cicle. I also think Mariah falls under the codependent category, since she is, as you mentioned, very creative and emotional, but at the same time, insecure and a real people pleaser.

Wanna trade places ? (76,529)

This little clip of an interview Mariah gave back in 1998 sums it all up for me. I know we all have our opinions about Mariah lately (since forever really) but let's collectively remind ourselves that we are lambs.

I'm totally okay with her not wanting to be shot by a gun in the movie. She was supposed to play herself. She did it in "You don't mess with the Zohan" but it was funny and she was in command of herself joking about herself. If what we have read is true they were ready to laugh at her and not with her. So it's a good thing she's not in the movie.

Request: prayers For Mariah (76,526)
by 123 from USA
| |
|
|
So here goes my plea. We know there is something bad going on. Our MC, at least the one we know, is going through a very bad situation. I'm asking, no begging every lamb to pray for her. Please, please, please, I'm requesting we all pray for her tonight, tomorrow, whenever. The Bible says where there are two or three in my name I am there. So I'm putting in my plea to everyone now. Kind of like Marissa's petition, but I'm just leaving it here on the board. Among family. I fear she needs all the prayers we can give. It looks very MJ last days. Anyone that wants to participate, you are welcome to do so silently or reply. Thank you all for reading. God bless you all and MC.

Mariah has been through do much lately, with this team being among the worst. I don't know the reasons, but I wish Mariah all the best. I still love her music and can't wait to hear what she comes up with next.

He was on her management team. Still old news. Are you that new of a fan that it is news to you? Or are you Stella indeed? She hasn't a clue about Mariah really. It takes a while to sever employment ties, even when any personal ties are long dead.

Specifically I was wondering why she never knowledged him publicly, at least that I know of. I think she would say that she was dating but she would never say his name.

Article: Will Ferrell hints at Mariah's diva antics on set (76,520)
by Matthew from USA
| |
|
|
Are they getting worked up? I think they're just saying that they invited her to appear for 5 minutes in the film, it took until midnight to get it done because she was late and then started making ridiculous requests, they ended up sending everyone else home, and after all that the footage was pretty much unusable so they left it on the cutting room floor. Mariah knows the public is amused when she plays the diva. So whenever she makes a public appearance she emphasizes the diva antics. The thing is, Mariah used to be able to backup her diva behavior with her incredible talent. When you've got the goods, you get a pass. But when your antics start to outweigh your talents, well you can look up Lindsay Lohan. People just decide they would rather not go through all that. Mariah needs to realize that while the fans might find her diva antics amusing, her peers might not. And she should definitely not take that attitude to work. The cast and crew are not adoring lambs who think she can do no wrong.

Having said that and if that's the case, why does until now Mariah doesn't fire Stella? The last word is on her, it's her choice.
