My apologies Mimi L. I wasn't trying to say that you believed it or said it.

Some of you lambs on here are so pressed about Bryan, you're probably as salty as Stella is when she sees wonderful headlines in the news nowdays lol. You have no reason to really go after him, he hasn't done anything terrible, but yet you spend a lot of time doing dragging him down as some awful person, be happy she is happy. You complain he's not at big events with her so he must be too unimportant, yet if he was at said events he would be thirsty and there to only steal the limelight, poor guy can't win. And if you think every pic on the night (Golden Globes) looked forced and awkward then all I can say is in reality it doesn't matter what he does or doesn't do, if Mimi is truely happy or not if hes good or not good, you wonderful people are going to come for him and drag him anyway. I just wish lambs would be happy she is happy, most of the lambs have come around now, I'm guessing some of you never will and would rather her be unhappy all her life. Imagine stanning someone but then never truely being able to be happy for them, only being in it for what you want to take from them to keep yourselves appeased.

Re: Article: Meryl Streep reveals what really happened (80,371) (80,372) by Edward from USA
Meryl Streep is a class act. The show is supposed to be funny and she was playful. There was absolutely no shade in what she was saying, she knew she was talking about Mariah. Now, we couldn't say the same thing about Mariah who's usually shady, and sometimes very out of place. Meryl didn't say she didn't know her or ignor the fact he was talking about Mariah. She also joked about Jesus, I mean, Oprah launching her presidential campaign. Meryl Streep is the epitome of class, but bitch stole her seat, the woman is 68 and has arthritis. Even if she had been shady, she would've deserved a bitch-pass. Some people are so touchy.

Did ya'll watch the video or are ya'll just going by what you read in the article? On paper it seems harsh, but if you actually watch the video it makes a huge difference. Meryl was rather playful in her explanation of the incident. What I saw was in no way malicious.

I fell out laughing when I saw the shirts. I couldn't believe she did it. I can't even get mad about this move. Lol.

That pic with the shirt made my day. Lol. I love how she's making fun of herself and shares it with the lambily.

Re: New Mariah (80,363) (80,368) by Lila from United States
In my eyes the after party was the equivalent of that restaurant outing after the Vanity Fair event. She didn't take him with her to that either, her supposed boyfriend, but she went to a restaurant to be seen with him. After parties are fun, I'm sure, but they are not the actual red carpet event in my eyes. That's a disconnect. It doesn't make logical sense that a person would be so comfortable taking a supposed significant other on pap strolls, this other person eating up the attention and looking to have no problem with the spotlight, and yet when it comes to legitimate events that person is relegated to the background like every other hanger on that she's taken with her to events past and present. Wait, I forgot: except to help her up and down stairs and to the car like a pet. In my opinion he's just a lesser extent of the dead weight she likes to carry around regardless. For me, there are just too many disconnects that I can't see him having any clout big enough to have made Mariah kick Stella to the curb. And again, logically, what could he and Stella have really disagreed over? He always seemed just fine cheesing at the paps, as if he'd hit the lotto, while trying to grasp the hand of a sloshed looking Mariah. He gets paid to do absolutely nothing the same as Stella got paid to do nothing. I too hated the pictures of them at the after party. It looked off to me. He's, as always, lathering on forced affection and, as always, Mariah never looks like she's actually here for it. She just stood there with the same plastic Barbie-like smile on her face.

Betty I agree with you. For me it also sounds too harsh/mean. Maybe I just don't get that sense of humor, but I don't like it. Not nice at all.

I wasn't offended at all. It was a joke. Meryl was laughing and I really don't think she meant any harm. I mean if the tables were turned and Mariah had said the same thing everyone would be defending her saying she was joking. It didn't come across as mean or shady to me.

I did find it weird that he wasn't on the red carpet with her, but he popped up at the after party. Then again I really didn't care because I was happy. I thought he wasn't present at all but then he pops up messing up her pretty pictures and therefore ruining the rest of my night. Lol.

I personally loved Meryll in that interview, but I knew that her storytelling would rub some fans the wrong way, and that's understandable.
Side note - thanks to this year's Golden Globes, we finally got a worthy sequel to the Anne Hathaway fangirling episode - featuring Tamera Mowry this time. Celebs who freak out and lose their crap in Mariah's presence are always an entertaining and adorable watch.

Maybe I am sensitive but I don't like jokes like that because they seem a bit shady to me. She also said "No no stay there" and admitted that she offered to sit in Mariah's lap "Because you know it looked comfy."

Yes I agree and hope she does speak up on pay disparity, if that is the case, but I am specifically speaking about the many on twitter who think "tea will be spilled". Whatever Mimi has to say better be carefully phrased because others love to make her a target.

Haha I don't really believe Bryan is actually responsible for Stella's dismissal, but I do believe that around the end Bryan and Stella didn't see eye to eye hence we got those insane amount of "Bryan is a leech" news. That was classic Stella move. I still think that Bryan is nothing but a paid employee acting as a boyfriend. I would really like to know what happened with that security issue though. It's scary that Stella would go to such limits to steal some Hermes bags, but we all know she loves herself some big ass hand bags.

Re: Ball of wax tea (80,356) (80,357) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I think her current team will take care of the statement, provided she has one. I do agree with you about how she should go about it. Now with the Time's Up movement, we have to remember it's not just about sexual abuse, but also unfair and unequal pay, women not getting enough recognition for their contribution and so on. For Mariah, I think her statement (if she does go for it) will be more about the unfair business practices and not about sexual abuse. I'm basing this off the fact that she had her "sometimes men forget that women write as well" statement ready. So I'm guessing hers is about that.

Ball of wax tea (80,356) by RibbonB from USA
I notice that a lot of lambs are salivating over what Mimi may have to say on the Time's Up slogan. This is unfortunate, because accusations of assault, abuse and harassment are serious with far reaching implications. Her own friends have been hit including her bff. Aries brother Brett Ratner, Russell Simmons and LA Reid. If Mimi has her own stories to share, shed better tread carefully as did Lupito, Salma and the other famous people who wrote eloquent statements of their truths. I don't know who Mimi thinks she can consult, it just takes people being willing to risk their reputations and careers. She never even commented on Kesha, while many others like GaGa and Taylor Swift did. I hope Mimi doesn't miss read the tone and intent of the movement because spilling tea is not the right tone and will most likely only hurt her and the so called movement. If she has anything to say, a well written and legally vetted open letter has worked for Hayak, Nyongo and Lumet, Russell's most prominent accuser.

Re: New Mariah (80,340) (80,353) by Lila from United States
I'm still dumbfounded by how these made up stories about how he got rid of Stella have grown legs. All of it is nothing but highly vague nonsense, with absolutely no logical reasoning behind them, made up by fans who stan them as a couple and will glob onto any little tidbit or make up anything to prove that they're a real couple. With Mariah's penchant for taking staff on personal holidays and never being caught dead with him on the red carpets of anything high profile despite calling him her boyfriend yet being willing to do low brow crap, it's hard for them to prove it so they resort to twisting anything. I think if anyone was finally able to cut through Mariah's train wreck it was Patti LaBelle who said that she told Mariah she had some not so good people around her. Not to mention, whatever shady nonsense went down with that theft/security mishap that couldn't be explained away.
