Re: Mariah forehead (77,921) (77,926) by SM from Citizen of the World
Maybe because Danielle Priano is no longer styling her hair so it looks more obvious lol. But now that I look at older pictures it does look more round now.

Re: Roc and Roe (77,922) (77,925) by TJ from Norway
Bobby Kristina Brown, Chet Hanks, Weston Cage, Indio Downey and so on. I don't think growing up as a kid of a famous person is easy, and it's not going to be easier if they are exposed for the media and life style. I remember when Bobby Kristina sang with her mother on stage as well. Didn't like it at all. I guess many thought it was cute, but kids are not supposed to make that experience. I'm not saying the twins will end up as her or the others above, but there's a really thin line between what's ok and not.

Really? On what basis can you say that?

Article: Christian singer aims to "invade" tour with God's love (77,923) by Andrew from UK
So, essentially, if you wish to go and watch Mariah Carey and Lionel Richie live, you are forced to endure religious propaganda from the barmy army. How vulgar. I just read a story about a waitress who wasn't left a tip because she had a rainbow tattoo. She had a note written to her that she couldn't have a tip because she "doesn't love Jesus". How utterly bewilderingly mental people are. "And now, free with your ticket, ladies and gentleman, singing to you live from somewhere you don't want them to be, all-singing, all-dancing, yes, it's, wait for it, yes, it's the Mentally Disturbed." What must the alien overlords think of us?

Roc and Roe (77,922) by Andrew from UK
Some really strange people in here commenting on how hard Roc and Roe have it. Whilst I agree that Mariah should not be seen to be using her children for attention or to make money because that would be crass, good for them that they are going to live such a fantastical life other children mostly always, I would say, dream of. Seemingly unlimited wealth, travelling the world, meeting lots of people. Great. So what if they don't grow up in a "normal" lifestyle. What a stupid argument. It's like rejecting a lottery win because you won't know what it's like to grow up average.

Mariah forehead (77,921) by Andrew from UK
Was it always so round? Her hairline is almost literally half way down her head.

Luke, I agree. I doubt their being forced and when it comes to Dem Kids, MC knows what she's doing.

Rapidito (77,919) by Edward from USA
Rapidito scores its 14th week at #1. It could actually get to sit all by itself at the 15th week mark, but Wild Thoughts might actually be the song to dethrone it. I doubt Rapidito is going to surpass Mariah's record. Yes, Rihanna's going to have another #1, but it is what it is. Lol.

Re: New dress (77,913) (77,918) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Now this is a dress that belongs to a lady like Mariah. She looks beautiful in it. I hope she had a good time with Da Brat. Finally someone to spend time with who knows Mariah longer than the clan.

Re: ABMB with demkids (77,901) (77,917) by Luke from United Kingdom
I think it's a smart move. They're apart of her "world" and they can't escape it and she can't remove them from it. I believe she would do more damage to them by trying to shield them and wrap them in cotton wool. She isn't forcing them to stand their alone and sing, but just having some fun. However, if they get older and speak out and say they felt forced into the situation it's a different matter. But they seem like the type of kids that want to be involved though, especially with their mum.

Re: Stella (77,914) (77,916) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines
A good manager would have suggested to sing bits and pieces of the more obscure material as interludes in between (or intros to) some songs to zhush up the playlist a bit and make the hardcore fans happy while not alienating the casual listeners. But then again we have to remind ourselves that it's Stella we're talking about here, and what does she know about the music aside from the fact that Mariah sings and the increasing probability that she once accidentally walked into a room where Butterfly was playing long enough to figure out that "unbridled" was in its lyrics and suddenly decided that that's gonna be her favorite word to use randomly and liberally.

Hero (acapella) (77,915) by Bill from the UK
Hey all. That YouTube channel that posts the acepella links (Make It Happen, Underneath the Stars, Emotions etc) has posted the studio acepella for Hero. Check it out, it sounds beautiful, especially the bridge.

Yeah I agree. Mariah appears to loose the audience when she performs songs that the crowd isn't familiar with.

Re: Stella (77,905) (77,909) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Yes for an intimate performance where she is sure majority of the audience is from her core fan base who know her music beyond the hits, it's great to have her sing songs that weren't popular. Even for tours like the SSFT and TAOM and all where majority of the people are her fans, it's great to slide in album cuts, fans would go wild. But when you play something like ITC at a concert where majority of the people are probably not following her music religiously like we do, then it's pointless, because even on the nights she sang ITC, people had no idea what the song was. Stella doesn't know crap about music, what the audience want, tour and all productive things. I'll say she even is not good with TV stuff because look at what a mess of epic proportions MW was. Now that all that has failed, Stella is now attaching her name to a tried and tested hit AIWFCIY, to grab quick pennies and kinda wearing the song out by overdoing it.

Mariah made it (77,907) by Ben from Sweden
Mariah's music might have declined a little bit but at the same time Mariah made it, because she got pregnant and has a family now.

Get Pink to Number 1 to help Mariah (77,906) by Sheila from United States
I just purchased Pink's new single which is lovely. We can't have Mariah lose the One Sweet Day record.

Re: Stella (77,903) (77,905) by Licia from USA
She's a huge idiot. It's always nice to hear album tracks that weren't singles live, but it's a hits tour (as you said) and she's also dealing with an audience of older Lionel fans who may not have listened to any of her music passed the 90's. It would be totally different if she were performing for only her fan base. Stella should know and understand why she can't deviate too much from the set list.

Stella (77,903) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Someone said that while Da Brat was live on Instagram, apparently it could be heard how Stella was telling Mariah that she didn't really like "Emotions" as the opening song and how Mariah should do "I'm that Chick" instead and then Mariah said that "Emotions" is a better fit for this market/audience. Honestly Stella is such an idiot when it comes to music and audience. She probably still thinks 12 year olds are making up the majority of the ATH tour audience. It's called ATH for a reason, people are there for the hits, the nostalgia, the known songs. Not a lot of people in that audience know ITC.
