Adele canceling tour (76,801) by MusicfanJ from Germany In the news they say Adele is canceling her tour because of voice problems. Her doctor told her to do it, the voice needs time to rest. If it's true, my thought is, see Adele's voice is beginning to get raspy because of the concerts, touring and so on after such a "short" period. And we wonder why Mariah's voice started to "change" in 98/99. I mean in the 90ies Mariah was working like crazy, and then 2001 happened. Maybe if she had take more time to rest her voice after 95 everything would be easier for her now. Just a thought. (Saturday 1 July 2017; 11:46)

I hope y'all in the LGBTQ+ community will continue to love and continue to spread positivity and self-love, because we're born this way and we're all beautiful people. The House (76,795) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) With all the press for this movie using MC's name hopefully this movie tops the box office which I highly doubt. It seems the cast found nothing else to talk about other than Mariah. I mean she is no longer apart of the cast so I feel mentioning her should be null and void. Lipsync for your life (76,785) by 90sMariah from SG I've always wondered what would be a great Mariah Carey song to feature on Rupaul's Drag Race's lipsync for your life (provided Mariah finally gives permission for her song to be used on the show, Rupaul revealed Mariah hasn't). At the just concluded season grand finale, they played two Whitney Houston songs and they were perfect - danceable, bopping, campy and they evoked emotion. I can't think of a Mariah song that the queens could dance and emote to that will have the same impact as Whitney's. Any ideas? (Friday 30 June 2017; 14:51)

Her voice has adopted this leathery texture that's especially apparent when she sings in falsetto. The resulting sound is raspier, drier, less polished, yet also warmer and more suitable for the genre. 2. She now has the experience to back it up. Her performances are grittier and more raw, lending more conviction to whatever she sings. You no longer hear an ingenue - you hear the dignified sound of a woman who has lived enough to share her inspiring story. Although some here deride the idea of releasing a jazz album believing it would be the final nail in the coffin of her flailing commercial career (and there's a real chance they may be proven right), I would still love to hear it. If she doesn't plan on changing her lifestyle habits anytime soon, jazz may be the only genre she will sound good in. (Friday 30 June 2017; 09:49)

When she's being interviewed she looks like someone farted. She also need volume at her roots. Having it flat on her head and big ole granny style around her body is not flattering. But it's actually a good thing I guess as I'm not singing "Honey you can have me when you want me" anymore. I drove from Plymouth to London yesterday and didn't realise until I got to London I had listened to So So Def Honey remix on repeat the entire journey. The whole way. That's five hours of that song. About sixty spins. I used to think Mariah's masterpiece was something like Lead The Way. Now I think it's this. Everything about this song is awesome. Except for JD. Haven't got a clue what he's saying until he spells his name. Which, credit to him, he manages to get right. He'll be counting to ten next. (Friday 30 June 2017; 08:56)
