Re: New album (77,304) (77,312) by Licia from USA
I don't think she will be releasing anything at all, but if she does I'll take that quiet iTunes release. It's better than getting nothing.

Re: Article: Mariah Carey performs in final Las Vegas residency show (77,306) (77,311) by Licia from USA
I agree. It's not the extra meat. It's the not enough clothes or the ill fitting clothes that's the problem at times. I'd be a hypocrite to down her for gaining weight when I'm not a size 0. Even though I hate those stank bodysuits (on any woman, not just Mariah), her legs being bigger than last year wasn't my issue. She just looked uncomfortable in them.

Ya I don't care what size Mariah is, the only issue is she doesn't dress right. Also I don't really get why she always wears bodysuits nowadays since it's not like she's breaking into an intense choreography. I get wearing one for "Honey" because that's paying homage to the video. I also loved her first SSFT bodysuit (not the second one which looked like a bejeweled swimsuit) but nowadays it's like all her stage clothes are bodysuits. In this Vegas leg alone I think she had 4 bodysuits (the "Honey" pink one, the nude gold, the bejeweled one with the skirt and the red on with those long string like things). She can wear cute flirty mini dresses, or pant suits or anything but I honestly don't get the point of bodysuits anymore especially now that she doesn't even move much. Get a stylist Mariah. Stop letting Mishka dress you.

Re: Article: Mariah Carey performs in final Las Vegas residency show (77,306) (77,309) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Yes it all depends on the right clothes. The outfits she was wearing during the Charmbracelet tour were a dream compared to this. What I don't understand, doesn't she know that the public is laughing about it? Just yesterday I read comments on online news and they were all the same. I mean if you're on stage, you must know that everyone sees it right? It's not like you're at home and making fun with your wardrobe. I know many people who earn not much but they're always good-looking because of classy clothes (that don't cost much). It seems to me that Mariah gets demonstrated. And it hurts to watch.

All part of a big comeback? (77,308) by Jamie from UK
Could all this lack lustre performances and weight gain be part of a bigger picture, in the fact that everyone now knows she's not performing as well, and then she'll go through a huge transformation?

That's the thing Stacey. I agree.

I'm a healthy curvy size 10, darn near 40. I don't mind a little meat either. But, do we have to see all the meat? It's her outfits that make her unflattering, not the meat itself. Anyone at any size can look good in the right clothes. Mariah has forgotten that concept apparently.

She looks awful. *scratches head* Deluded? Enabled by sycophantic Stella? Trying her best to flush was residual professional respect she has from her glory days down a bling'd out toilet? It's anyone's guess at this point. Girl needs some reflection time and an alcohol/management detox.

New album (77,304) by Edward from USA
Do you guys still think Mariah's releasing a new album by the end of the year? Probably she might just one day make it available on iTunes and Amazon without much noise. That would be something.

Mariah needs a stylist. J.Lo is constantly relevant because of how she dresses. Her stylist is Rachel Zoe's former assistant so why not one up J.Lo and hire her stylist's mentor as her stylist.

I like her with meat on her bones. Over half of the "it" girls look like they haven't eaten in years. If Ashley Graham could make it a model, then we should not care about our girl.

Re: Shaderoom Ig meme of Honey causes drama (77,254) (77,301) by Licia from USA
I'm not going to lie and say I haven't gotten a good laugh at these memes, but I've been wondering why the Russian dictator has said nothing about this situation. Wouldn't this be the time that she should defend her client? She tends to speak on the silliest mess, but when things like this happen she's rather quiet. Her just allowing her client to get made fun of just doesn't sit right with me.

Re: Mariah Carey drama series based on her life (77,278) (77,300) by RibbonB from USA
The weird irony is that if this series comes to fruition, even if loosely based on her life, it will probably be perceived as being factual, with lots read into the script, as opposed to her reality show which came off as a bunch of cheesy lies, lol.

I wonder if Crustella studied at the R. Kelley school of mind control.

Re: Lionel Richie shows: Are you going? (77,295) (77,297) by Licia from USA
Wanted to go to the Houston show, but I don't really want to see Lionel. I also don't want to just see her then leave either. It would be a waste. Lionel is a phenomenal artist, but I have no desire to see him live even though I love his music.

Re: Searching for Neverland (77,279) (77,296) by RibbonB from USA
Yeah, a few of us discussed this movie on this messageboard when the movie originally aired. I said that I could see her old team telling a very similar story about being shut or pushed out and worrying about her safety and her doing work that was not in her best interest, or not characteristic of the type of work she formerly expressed interest in.

Re: Searching for Neverland (77,285) (77,294) by Edward from USA
RJJ12, thanks for the video and additional information. I didn't know it was actually that deep. He was actually worth more dead than alive for some of these leeches. I'm not too much into conspiracy theories, but judging by the recounts from the bodyguard and the video you pointed out, he would actually make more money for them dead than alive, given the fact that, according to the bodyguards, Michael was hesitant about going back on stage which seemed to have been blocking these leeches from profiting from him. So sad. It's good that Morgan said something similar could happen to Mariah, at least it's out there. I don't believe in family airing their dirty laundry in public, but when it comes to that specific part, I'm glad he said it.

This was funny. I enjoyed reading your post. I love Bruno so much. He's another versatile gifted artist. Hopefully all of our selfish wishes will remain with 16 and 18.

Re: At the risk of sounding ultra positive (77,284) (77,291) by Hilton from USA
I like when she changes up certain songs. It's more fun sometimes and brings the song to life in a different way than before so to speak. Mariah is a musical genius. Yes she's had a few underperforming singles, but most artists do, but there is no denying that when she gets on her A game she delivers and I'm here for another moment like that. Let's go MC.

Re: Despacito (77,282) (77,290) by Hilton from USA
We already know that. I think it was mentioned more on the technical side of looking at it and that's right. Mariah has her own 18 number 1's and RiRi has 11 of her own. Either way, she's very close to 18 but hopefully our girl will come out swinging. If not, oh well, at least Ri loves MC so it won't be too heartbreaking. Lol.
