"Despacito" was consistently at #1 for a very long time. If "Despacito" stops at 14 weeks at #1, then I'll definitely believe that the music industry is collectively securing Mariah's record haha, they even stopped Bruno Mars when he was very close to breaking the record. Tidbits (77,876) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter 1) Rihanna/DJ Khaled has discounted WT so that might increase sales, let's see what happens. 2) Kim K was playing "Breakdown" while revealing her new products from her make up line. The Kardashians seem to be big Mariah fans even though Mariah has shaded them more than once publicly. I read somewhere that Mariah's music was blasting throughout the Kardashian-Jenner household while they were doing a promotional photo shoot a few years back. Then Kim tweeted sometime back about how she was super excited about Mariah's second Christmas album (back in 2010) and how she was playing the original album during September. Publicist vs. manager (77,865) by Matty from Vancouver Canada Manny, you are so right. Where the hell is Mariah's publicist? Manager and publicist are two very different jobs, and MC's always had both, Cindy and Benny for example (correct me if I'm wrong). Mariah's image is being dragged. Stella can be her manager if Mariah thinks she's doing well and opening new doors. However she needs a professional publicist who doesn't respond to a third tier outlet like TooFab out of bitterness (how Stella has time to speak with TooFab with all the goings-on escapes me), but rather responds to proper news outlets, not blogs and gossip sites. Fortunately for Stella, her coming into the picture coincided with Mariah "dating" Packer and touring Europe and the good times were doing nothing but rolling. I doubt she sees going around America as glamorous, fun, or worth her time, although we have many amazing places and all that Mariah was doing before the Packer situation went left is not being replicated on her own dime. Stella still gets to be the paid bestfriend and when Mariah goes back to LA, they always return to their regularly scheduled program of Catch LA, see through leggings, and oversized purses.
