Re: Vision of Love / Butterfly tour (74,059) (74,067) by Billy from Greece
I'm referring to the Sydney one.

Re: The Art of Letting Go (74,063) (74,066) by Edouard from France
I think it's a great song too. I love the live versions better. The production of the track is a little bit too sparse IMO. Its build up takes a little bit too long to arrive. I love it anyway.

Not sure if there's interest (74,065) by Nikki from usa
I'd like to see Mariah's Christmas anthem get to the top. It's a shame it never had its time and I think it's long overdue. I'm not sure what happened last year on radio, but it never played in my area. The year before it had played all the time throughout November and December. What's more is the year prior the music video gained nearly 80 million views where last year it only gained 20 million. It looks like Mariah is gunning for that #1 spot with this movie announcement. I hope it helps her and I'm really hoping she gears more toward the music element this year. Hopefully, we get a new Christmas special live on TV and it airs on a larger channel. Looking forward to a bunch of new MC music this year overall and live singing on TV appearances. I want SSFT and whatever she does with Lionel on a DVD or epic special to say the least. I miss seeing her on media in general. I'm just not sure if the lambs of old are interested in calling up radio stations like back in the day to request in December.

Re: The Art of Letting Go (74,039) (74,064) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
Sadly The Art of Letting Go was the first in a series of messed up single roll outs (remember the Facebook drama and the wrong version being played, also that the song was demoted from the official second single to a buzz track). From there we get You're Mine Eternal (WBT 4.0), and I believe Mariah said she disliked working with the director for this video, certainly not one of the stronger songs on MIAM. Then the non existent drop of YDKWTD (this track deserved a hot video ah la Heartbreaker, with a Clear Water radio push agreement). Followed by the interesting release of Infinity (a song the Lambily will forever be divided on) and now I Don't and then an I Don't "remix" to bout. Each single sadly disappearing faster then it's predecessor. I feel like what I've been missing from MC is that everything she's ever done from MOIA back to her debut was telling a comprehensive story. Where as now I can't figure out what the story is. I believe there's a major story going on behind the scene, but she's not reflecting that in her art as much anymore.

I adore The Art of Letting Go. I absolutely agree with you, it's certainly one of her best ballads since Butterfly. It's got that old school sound, like Rihanna's Love on the Brain. From the stunning cover art, to the smooth vibe and way she uses her voice. Not to mention that epic crescendo at the end. Wow. Simply, wow.

I don't hate You're Mine. I just need a nap after hearing it.

Re: Live performances (74,056) (74,061) by Licia from USA
I agree. The sort of stripped down version of TGIFY worked so well and was beautifully done.

Re: New pic (74,048) (74,060) by Licia from USA
She looks cute in the dress. Red is forever her color. I hope this new song is as epic as IKWYW was. Speaking of IKWYW, there was a longer version of Mariah's bridge floating around, but I don't remember where I saw it. Does anybody here remember where it was? I can't remember if it was Instagram or YouTube that had it.

Vision of Love / Butterfly tour (74,059) by Billy from Greece
A very impressive performance, which also bridges Daydream with Butterfly.

Honestly I love her in this video. She is just so beautiful and sweet. She sings like an angel. This is one reason I became a fan. First because of her music and second because of the way she did perform and present herself. Mysterious Mariah at her best.

I will never get why people hate YME. The song is amazing, I love it. The music, the lyrics, the melody, the production. Absolutely beautiful song. Even my friends who are casual listeners love that song and listen to it without me having to push it haha.

Live performances (74,056) by B from USA
When performing live Mariah should rearrange her songs like she did with TGIFY. Thus eliminating the need to rely on a backing track for the wall of Mariah's and the whistles in the background.

She slayed. I wish they'd air it every Christmas.

I always loved You're Mine (Eternal). Spring time eyes that get you every time I just can't give you up you're mine.

Mariah best ballad since Butterfly? Are you serious? We Belong Together? For The Record? Mariah's Theme, or Cry.

Stella will receive a check and that's about it. Once she no longer manages Mariah no one will even remember her name.

She's either hosting or always a guest host on some talkshow. The show she was on when she gave her opinion on Miley's comments about Mariah.

Mariah and Busta on the set of their new video. Director is apparently the same one who did IKWYW. The song title is possible "Where I Belong". Mariah looks hot tamale.

Brat-Tat-Tat (74,047) by Jeff from USA
Does anyone know what Da Brat is up to these days? Are she and Mariah still close? She always seemed to be a true friend to Mariah, always defending her in the media and staying above the drama. I believe the last time she worked with MC was on "OOC". Is that right?

Re: Last Daydream era performance (74,025) (74,046) by Licia from USA
I absolutely love that Honey performance. Of course you can hear how much her voice had changed, but it was just a fun performance. She looked happy and like she was just enjoying herself. None of the pat my hair and my boobs nonsense. Her trying to dance always makes me happy. Lol. I miss this. Vocally she wasn't at what some may deem her best, but she got on that stage and she worked with what she had.

Re: The Art of Letting Go (74,034) (74,045) by Licia from USA
I wouldn't say I dislike The Art of Letting Go, it just never hit me like some of her other ballads. I think I've listened to that song maybe twice and it's never been a song that I just needed to listen to when it pops up on my playlist. I can say that if I had to choose between TAOLG and Crapfinity, I'd definitely choose TAOLG. I'd choose the unreleased track Sprung over Crapfinity and I hate Sprung with a passion. Lol. Even though I have a love hate relationship with parts of I Don't, I would choose that song over both TAOLG and You're Mine. You're Mine is another song I don't have to hear all the time unless it's maybe the remix. I prefer the remix. Trey Songz yodeling kind of makes the song not so boring. Lol.

At this point I think that Mariah is probably as toxic as Stella is, that would explain why most of her old and faithful friends run away from her.

One of the many reasons I love Mariah. These vocals are gorgeous. Open Arms has always been especially chilling to me, given how she says she felt at the time. Thanks for posting.
